GOSPELS COMBINED IN HARMONY STUDY WHAT GOSPEL?
By W. Heatand Thetares
Brothers and sisters, thank you for taking interest.
The purpose and intention of this book is to familiarize our kinsmen with their heritage and history of Jesus. And to have an easy to read, detailed account of that history.
The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, taken from the King James Bible, have been harmonized into one accumulated account of the Birth, Life, and Death of Jesus Christ with the details and accounts of all four gospels.
These accounts are in chronological order, and put together in a storytelling format.
All the accounts were merged into one, all the details found in all four gospels.
The dog jumped over the fence. -Matthew
The brown dog jumped the fence. -Mark
Over the white fence jumped Rusty, that brown dog. -Luke
A brown dog jumped over this picket fence. -John
The final cut would read:
Rusty, the brown dog, jumped over the white picket fence.
The word he, when referring to Christ or God, is capitalized. (He)
Now if you will be open to some possibly new information to you, I would like to explain why I chose to substitute some words in this book.
The proper names of our Father and our Brother.
YAHWEH - Almighty God, The Great I Am
YHWH- these are the ancient Hebrew letters for God. There were no vowels in this ancient language.
13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
My name is YHWH, eternal, everliving.
YAH = I AM
In the ancient texts, codex, stones, papayrus, Dead Sea Scrolls, etc. and even recent history before the King James Bible (1611), the Name Yahweh (written YHWH) was where we now have LORD. I know, I know, we are all very comfortable with this name, actually title. Just like the word God, it is not a name, but a title. Try writing a letter and send it to Man, it won't get anywhere unless you address it to a name.
The scriptures are loaded with verses with God (Yahweh) demanding we use His Name.
6,580 times the true name of our Father, Yahweh, has been changed to LORD.
Hear are some:
Ezekiel 39:7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD (Yahweh), the Holy One in Israel.
26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;
27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.
Hosea 2:16-17 Lord, Baal, call me these NO MORE
16 And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD (Yahweh), that thou shalt call me Ishi (husband); and shalt call me no more Baali. (LORD)
17 For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Malachi 2:2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts (Yahweh of Hosts), I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
Psalm 124:8 Our help is in the name of the LORD (Yahweh), who made heaven and earth.
LORD comes from the name Baal, which comes from the ancient Canaanite religion, and the children of that wicked one. Satan.
While Yahweh's children worshiped Him. Satan's children worshiped him.
The whole plan of the Baal religion was to get the people of Israel to stop calling in the Name of Yahweh. Satan is afraid of the Name of Yahweh, and today the Jews hate it, as they always have. There is POWER in the name of YAHWEH!
We find in checking the writings of different translators that Moffatt speaks of the use of the name Yahweh; and in the introduction of his works Moffatt says: Strictly speaking this ought to be rendered Yahweh, and none else.
In the 1827 version of the Smith Bible Dictionary, the word Lord was substituted for the first time for Yahweh. Then they admit that this was an unfortunate thing because Lord in no way represents the meaning of the sacred Name.
Rotherham in his works devotes a whole chapter to THE NAME, and points out the reasons for its suppression, making it clear that the consequence thereof may rightly be laid upon the Baal priests.
Separate a child from his father’s name, and you separate the child from his heritage and identity. A generic term will never empower anyone. Discard the enslaving tradition of men, and take on the liberating power of YAHWEH your Father, your God, and your heritage.
Now our big brother Jesus Christ
YAHSHUA - Jesus (Yah-God Shua-Salvation) God preserves us through Jesus
A word study on the word saved and salvation will clarify.
Using the Strong's Concordance for the Hebrew and Greek meanings.
H3444 = YAHSHUA = Salvation Through Preservation
yeshû‛âh pronounced yesh-oo'-aw
Feminine passive participle of H3467; something saved, that is, (abstractly) deliverance; hence aid, victory, prosperity: - deliverance, health, help (-ing), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare.
In the Greek: all with same meanings- help, preserve, rescue, be safe, bring, defend, deliver
G1295, G1519, G4982, G4991, G5442
Using Websters Dictionary
SA'VED, pp. Preserved from evil; injury or destruction; kept frugally; prevented; spared; taken in time.
SAVE, v.t. [Latin. salvo. As salve is used in Latin for salutation or wishing health, as hail is in English, I suspect this word to be from the root of heal or hail, the first letter being changed. Greek. See Salt.]
To preserve from injury, destruction or evil of any kind; to rescue from danger; as, to save a house from the flames; to save a man from drowning; to save a family from ruin; to save a state from war.
SALVA'TION, n. [Latin. salvo, to save.]
The act of saving; preservation from destruction, danger or great calamity.
PRESERVE, v.t. prezerv'. [Low L. proeservo; proe and servo, to keep.]
To keep or save from injury or destruction; to defend from evil.
To uphold; to sustain.
To save from decay; to keep in a sound state; as, to preserve fruit in winter. Salt is used to preserve meat.
To season with sugar or other substances for preservation
To keep or defend from corruption; as, to preserve youth from vice.
PRESERV'ED, pp. Saved from injury, destruction or decay; kept or defended from evil; seasoned with sugar for preservation.
PRESERVA'TION, n. The act of preserving or keeping safe; the act of keeping from injury, destruction or decay; as the preservation of life or health; the preservation of buildings from fire or decay; the preservation of grain from insects; the preservation of fruit or plants. When a thing is kept entirely from decay, or nearly in its original state, we say it is in a high state of preservation.
So the idea of “being saved” is not a one and done thing. It is an ONGOING thing. By keeping the faith and the commandments of Yahweh, we retain the salt, or flavor of following Christ's example. Therefore being preserved through this mortal life, until that glorious return of our Kinsman Redeemer.
If you fell off a boat (the boat, which would represent following Christ's example)
And landed in the raging sea (which would represent not following His laws)
When He throws you a life preserver, and brings you aboard again, you could say that you have been saved. But more accurately, preserved.
But while on the boat of Christ's example, since you are a mere mortal, you will fall off again.
So by following His example, and loving what He represents, which is the law, you will not fall off the boat, or at least not as much. John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
People who should be happy that they are the children of God, begotten by His Spirit, would rather think that they are something that is just converted by a few texts and the preacher’s words which by their own decision are now ‘saved.’
For the new reader, the true names of God and Jesus were not restored every time, but inserted every so often to ease the transition of familiarity. Over 2000 years we have slowly been steered away from the truth and His name, and it's time to relearn these things.
Now the word: World
In virtually the whole bible, everywhere the word world is, it meaning refers to Society. Only a handful of times does it refer to the planet. It sometimes means, an age, or an order.
When Ceasar said he was going to tax the whole world, he did not mean that he included the Asians, or Blacks in Africa, or Eskimos, etc. But the known world (Society)
The Hebrew word for Adam is: Awdawm, ruddy, able to blush, fair, comely
This is describing Adamic man,
Genesis 5:1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
So when the generations of Adam populated the land, they became a Society.
A Society of Yahweh abiding and fearing people. Kinsmen
Here again the translators took the liberty and changed the original words into world.
H8398 pronounced tay-bale'
by extension the globe; by implication its inhabitants; specifically a particular land, as Babylonia or Palestine: - habitable part, world.
G2889 pronounced kos'-mos
orderly arrangement, that is, decoration; by implication the world (in a wide or narrow sense, including its inhabitants, literally or figuratively [morally]): - adorning, world.
G3625 pronounced oy-kou-men'-ay
land, that is, the (terrene part of the) globe; specifically the Roman empire: - earth, world.
When reading the scriptures, with a little insight to the meanings of words, the WORD (in Greek: lagos, means the plan) comes alive, and reveals a deeper understanding.
The extra information is historical records, articles, and writings of pastors and ministers of Yahweh from the 50's till now. Including Bertrand L. Comparet, Wesley Swift, Eli James, and Bill Finck.
Any changes, and added parenthesis are only to restore what has been changed over 2000 years of revisions. The restoration of these changes comes from researching the older and original texts, from the 5th century and back. When Jesus quoted scripture, He did not quote the King James Bible. He quoted from the Septuagint (the Old Testament written in Greek), and ancient scrolls.
Finally, the identity of the scribes, Pharisees, and Sadducees must be addressed.
Let's take a brief look at the origin and eventual establishment of who these are and how they came to be:
When Satan beguiled Eve in the garden, Cain was the result. He was not Adam's son.
Cain went east to walk the earth. The Bible says he built a city and had children. These children grew in number and later on mingled with the children of Canaan, who was Noah's grandson from Ham. Ham's son, Canaan, and his descendants, were cursed because Canaan was the result of incest between Ham and Noah's wife.
Genesis 9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
So now we have a mix of Cain and Canaan's children populating the land.
These people became known as the Canaanites.
Time went by and we come to Jacob and Esau.
Esau despised his birthright and married at least 2 Canaanite women.
As Jacob followed Yahweh God's laws, his name was changed to Israel (Gen 32:28) and his children (12 + 1 daughter, Dinah) were known as the Israelites.
Esau's name became Edom (Gen 25:30) and his children were known as the Edomites.
The Edomites mingled with the Canaanites.
So now we have in those days, Edomite/Canaanites against the Israelites.
This is the enmity of Genesis 3:15.
God repeatedly told the Israelites to remain separate from these children of the Evil One, Satan.
Since the Israelites disobeyed God, He divorced them and for punishment, Assyria took them out of the promised land and relocated them.
See 2 Kings 17:24, 27-28, 31, 34 Ezra 3:3
24 And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.
The Assyrian king brought Canaanites into the promised land in place of the Israelites.
This happened around 741BC. This was the beginning of Judaism, and the perversion of the religion and laws of Moses.
Less than 200 years later, because of failure of the Israelites to cast out the Canaanites and their religion, the Israelites were carried off to Babylon to be punished.
The same thing happened and Canaanites moved in and took an even deeper root in the promised land.
When the children of Israel returned, Ezra and Nehemiah did the best they could to cast out and clean up the land and religion. For a while it worked, but the root of evil was never fully removed.
Since the Canaanites remained there, 3 sects were resulted by the time of Christ.
The Sadducees, Pharisees, and Essenes.
The Essenes were Judahites, true Israelites from the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi.
The Sadducees and Pharisees, which started out with Israelites, became corrupted (like our government), with these Edomite/Canaanites.
Now Nicodemus was a Pharisee, but he was not a Canaanite. He was an Israelite of the tribe of either Judah, Benjamin, or Levi. Joseph, Mary's uncle was also a member of the Sanhedrin, the council of these sects, and was a Judahite.
So here at the time of Christ, we can see that the religious leaders of the original Israelite order, were corrupted by these Edomite/Canaanites. These enemies of Christianity distorted the Torah (books of Moses), and rewrote God's laws to suit their own desires, into the traditions of men. And Jesus called them out on it. That's why He repeatedly said, “Ye are of your father the devil...” John 8:44. This is very literal.
The Jews admit that they are not the descendants of the Ancient Israelites in their writings. Under the heading of "A brief History of the Terms for Jew" in the 1980 Jewish Almanac is the following:
"Strictly speaking it is incorrect to call an ancient Israelite a ‘Jew’ or to call a contemporary Jew an Israelite or a Hebrew."
(1980 Jewish Almanac, p. 3).
1943 Jewish Encyclopedia (pg 474)
The Jewish religion as it is today traces its descent, without a break, through all the centuries, from the Pharisees.
Their leading ideas and methods found expression in a literature of enormous extent, of which a very great deal is still in existence. The Talmud is the largest and most important single member of that literature,
The Jewish Encyclopedia identifies themselves as Edom.
– Rabbi Maggal, President, quoted in the National Jewish Information Service, August 21, 1961
"Judaism: The religious system, doctrines, and rites of the Jews. Judaism is, specifically, the religion of a Jewish community living among nation peoples and is to be distinguished from the religion of ancient Israel." – Standard Encyclopedia, Vol. 14, "Judaism."
Universal Jewish Encyclopedia 1942 Vol 8 pg 474
Jewish religion today, Judaism, has not changed since the religion of Pharisees.
Unfortunately, the Septuagint (scriptures at that time), were overshadowed by the Massoretes (which are the perversion of the scriptures, by the children of the devil). And many, and most of the scriptures today are based on these perversions, including the KJV. That is why our Father says to search the scriptures (John 5:39) and study to show thyself approved unto God (2 Tim 2:15).
He gave us a brain to seek the truth, and not to just take some preacher’s word for it. You must understand that a good, well meaning preacher could have been taught in error and is just repeating those errors.
We have the law written on our hearts and If we tune into our Spirit, the truth shall be revealed.
Please enjoy this body of work. I pray that I have put together in an easy to read, full account of Jesus (Yahshua) Christ, according to the gospels, and that you at least entertain the added extras.
He who has ears, let him hear, and he who has eyes, let him see.
Aristotle- “It is the mark of an educated man/woman, to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.”
Twain- “It's easier to fool people, than to convince them that they have been fooled.”
Thank you and Yahweh bless.
Meanwhile, we must return to the Jews of Palestine. As you know, by 68 A.D. the Romans had found the rascality of the Palestinian Jews so intolerable, they began the campaign which resulted in the fall of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. The Jews were then expelled from Palestine. Most of them migrated in large numbers to what was then called Byzantium, later called Constantinople and today is known as Istanbul. This faces the Bosphorus which is the outlet of the Black Sea. Here the [bad-fig-] Jews again demonstrated the truth of the Bible’s lessons, that conduct is the product of character. As Yahshua said to these Jews, “Ye are of your father the devil and the lusts of your father ye will do.” By about the year 300 A.D., the Jews’ rascality had again become so intolerable that they were expelled again. After being expelled from Byzantium, the people that are called Jews today, moved northeast into the Khazar kingdom.
About the year 150 A.D. the Khazars, an Asiatic people related to the Turks, migrated westward from central Asia and established a great empire. This empire covered what is today southwestern Russia, north of the Aral Sea, Caspian Sea, and the Black Sea, including the Don and Dnieper valleys and the Crimea.
About 740 A.D. Bulan the Kagan, or king of the Khazars, was converted to the religion of Judaism, together with some 4,000 of the most powerful nobility of the kingdom. In those days, it wasn’t healthful for a subject to be in religious conflict with that of the king or with the baron on whose land he lived. In due course, most of the Khazars became Jews by religion. In fact, it became part of the kingdom’s constitution that no one but a Jew by religion, could be king. The principle languages spoken were Khazar, called Yiddish today, and Turkish.
During the great invasion by the Mongols under Genghis Khan, many of the Judaized Khazars were dispersed into what is now Poland and Lithuania. These Khazars constitute the Slavic Jews of today, those with names such as Minsky, Baranov and Moscowitz, the latter often shortened to Mosk.
Since much of the western part of this area has been at one time or another ruled by Austrian or Germanic people who brought in their own language, these Khazars also took Germanic names such as Gold or Goldberg, Rosenberg, Eisler and so forth. If you wonder how they can be so much like the other Jews, historical documents written at the time of the Khazar empire, which was at its greatest height, refer to their tradition that their ancestors originally came from the region of Mount Seir which is Edom, the home of the Edomite Jews.
If you wish to look up further details, you will find brief articles on the Khazars in various encyclopedias such as the Britannica, the Jewish encyclopedia has six pages on this subject. In some places it is spelled Khazar and in others Chazar and there are even other variations: It is also discussed in A History of the Jews by Solomon Grayzel, and A History of the Jews by Prof. H. Graetz. Both of these books are published by the Jewish Publication Society of America.
The most thorough discussion of the whole problem is found in that magnificent historical research, The Iron Curtain Over America by Col. John Beatty.
THE GOSPELS IN HARMONY REVEALED
Luke was a Greek. A physician. Born in Antioch.
In the dedication Luke explains his method of research
Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed (ascertained) among us,
This is a reference to the gospels, the eyewitness accounts of following Christ.
Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;
Luke admits that he did not witness these things himself, but rather that they were transmitted to him by those who did witness them.
It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus (lover of YHWH),
Luke is using the word as a literary device, as it means “lover of God”, as an address for whoever is reading his writing at any given time, since he should expect none but a “lover of God” to be reading them. It is no different than a modern writer using the term “dear reader”. Theophilus is not a reference to any particular person.
Acts 15:19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the dispersed Nations are turned to God:
That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.
4 That you may decide concerning the certainty of the accounts which you were taught.
John pictures Christ as the Word
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The Greek word for 'word' is 'plan'.
In the beginning was the Plan, and the Plan was with God, and the Plan was God.
Christ is the fulfillment of the Plan, because He is the Plan. The Plan is the test that we, Yahweh's children, must strive for, the imitation of the Plan, the imitation of Christ.
Proverbs 8:22 Yahweh possessed (erect, create, procure) Me in the beginning of His Way, before His works of old.
1John 1:1 That (Christ) which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word (Plan) of life;
Proverbs 8:30 Then I was by Him, as one brought up with Him: and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him;
The same (Christ) was in the beginning with God. (Gen 1:1)
All things were made by (through) Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was
Psalm 33:6 By the word (plan) of Yahweh were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
Ephesians 3:9 And to enlighten all concerning the management of the household of the mystery which was concealed from the ages by Yahweh, by whom all things are being established.
Colossians 1:6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the society; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and acknowledged the favor of God in truth:
In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
Malachi 3:1 Behold, I will send My messenger, and he shall prepare the way before Me: and the Prince, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, He shall come, saith Yahweh of hosts.
The same (John) came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light (Christ), that all men through
Him might believe.
'men' is in italics, meaning it was added. This invites the doctrine of universalism, which the scripture is NOT. The Bible is by, to, for and about the race of Adam, and more specifically, the seed of Abraham, the children of Israel. The context is All, Every, and Whosoever, is always the children of Israel.
He (John) was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world (society).
The word 'world' almost never means the globe. The Greek word is 'kosmos', meaning arrangement, decoration. It refers to Adamic society. The race of Adam, by definition, describes the anglo-saxon peoples of Europe, America, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
He was in the world (society), and the world (society) was made by Him, and the world (society) knew Him not.
These next 3 verses are a deliberate deception:
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Verse 11. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. The words 'own'. The first 'own' is a neuter plural. The second 'own' is a masculine plural.
The first 'own' designates something material. His native land. The second 'own' refers to people. The people of that land. At that time those would consist of His people, Israelites, and also include Canaanites and Edomites.
Verse 12. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: The middle clause is the problem.
Deuteronomy 14:1 Ye are the children of Yahweh your God: ...
Luke 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.
Acts 17:28 For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring.
The people of Christ's native land that received Him are Israelites, His kinsmen. They are already sons of God through the race of Adam. Hence, offspring.
In verse 12, 'power' comes from the Greek word that means 'authority'. And 'to become' means to come into being, to attain. What is being attained? Those things that Christ is. The apostles got a taste of what it was like to attain what Christ is.
2Maccabees 13:13 And Judas, being apart with the elders, determined, before the king's host should enter into Judea, and get the city, (the same word for “to attain”) to go forth and try the matter in fight by the help of Yahweh.
Acts 27:16 And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat: ('barely able to attain full control of the skiff')
What is referred to regarding 'to attain' can also be found in:
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My assembly; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Prince, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. See Luke 10:1-16 also.
Verse 13. Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
The word 'blood' should be plural, 'bloods'. All the older manuscripts have 'bloods', plural.
Hosea 4:2 Cursing, and lying, and murder, and theft, and adultery abound in the land, and they mingle blood with blood. (From Septuagint) (Should also be plural, 'bloods with bloods)
This is referring to race mixing. Yahweh demands we remain pure and undefiled.
Now let's look at the Greek for the correct translation of verses 11-13.
11 He came into His own land, and the men of the country received Him not.
12 But as many who received Him, He gave to them the authority which the children of Yahweh are to attain, to those believing in His Name:
13 not those from of mixed origin nor from of desire of the flesh nor from the will of man, but they who have been born from Yahweh.
This heritage, this Word (Plan) is for the family of Yahweh. Those not born into the race of Adam cannot become of the race of Adam.
1Peter 1:23 Being born from above, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word (plan) of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
And the Word (Plan) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory-splendor, the glory-splendor as of the only begotten-most beloved of the Father,) full of grace (favor) and truth.
John bare witness of Him, and cried, saying, This was He of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for He was before me.
And of His fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
...'favor for the sake of favor.'
Colossians 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fulness dwell;
Because of the promises made to Abraham's seed, we have favor (grace). Abraham's seed was chosen to be the light of society. Christ demonstrated the model of the fulness that we are to attain.
For the law was given by (through) Moses, but grace (favor) and truth came by (through) Jesus Christ.
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John 1:1-18
18 No one ever yet having seen Yahweh, the only-born God, He being in the bosom of the Father, He has explained.
Exodus 33:20 And He said, Thou canst not see My face: for there shall no man see Me, and live.
1Timothy 6:16 Who (Christ) only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
(Mary's lineage)And Jesus Himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli, (Num 4:3,35,39,43,47)
Which was the son of Matthat, which was the son of Levi, which was the son of Melchi, which was the son of Janna, which was the son of Joseph,
Which was the son of Mattathias, which was the son of Amos, which was the son of Naum, which was the son of Esli, which was the son of Nagge,

Which was the son of Simeon, which was the son of Juda, which was the son of Joseph, which was the son of Jonan, which was the son of Eliakim,
Which was the son of Melea, which was the son of Menan, which was the son of Mattatha, which was the son of Nathan, which was the son of David, (Zech 12:12, 2 Sam 5:14)
Which was the son of Jesse, which was the son of Obed, which was the son of Booz, which was the son of Salmon, which was the son of Naasson, (Ruth 4:18, 1 Chr 2:10)

Which was the son of Jacob, which was the son of Isaac, which was the son of Abraham, which was the son of Thara, which was the son of Nachor, (Gen 11:24,26)
Which was the son of Saruch, which was the son of Ragau, which was the son of Phalec, which was the son of Heber, which was the son of Sala,
Which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad, which was the son of Sem, which was the son of Noe, which was the son of Lamech, (Gen 11:12, 5:6, 11:10)
Which was the son of Mathusala, which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Jared, which was the son of Maleleel, which was the son of Cainan,
Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God. Luke 3:23-38
The genealogy recorded in Matthew was the descent according to the succession of the throne of David, while the genealogy recorded in Luke was the natural genetic succession.
If Joseph dies without any issue, then Christ becomes the legal and lawful heir of the throne of David, and even though His conception occurred before Joseph's death, Yahweh Himself raises up seed for Joseph in the person of the Christ. If, however, the other sons of Mary are the actual physical children of Joseph, the right to the throne is contested. Therefore it is apparent, that Alphaeus is another man by whom Mary had children later in life, and there is no blame, challenge or accusation anywhere which may be made.
The book of the generation (descent) of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
This very first verse is a statement of RACE. The meaning is descent.
The “churches” teach that this word 'generation' means 'of that time'.
Psalm 132:11 Yahweh hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
Statements of race, a pure body will produce pure fruit. David was not of the 'generation' of the time of Christ. He was of the same RACE.
Adam through Abraham was of the same 'generations' (race).
These verses though verse 16 prove Joseph's line.
Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;
And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;
And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;
And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;
And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;
And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;
And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;
KJV failed to include Ahaziah, Joash, and Amaziah.
And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
Jehoiakim is missing.
And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;
Zerubbable rebuilt the temple at Jerusalem in 516 BC.
And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;
And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
So all the generations (offspring) from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations. Mat 1:1-17
Annunciation of birth of John the Baptist to Zacharias
There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
The divisions of the priests were called courses in the Old Testament (1 Chr 23:6). The names Zacharias and Elisabeth are, as Hebrew names always had deeper meanings, quite Providential. Zacharias is from a Hebrew phrase meaning “Yahweh remembers”, and Elisabeth, which was also the name of the wife of Aaron (Elisheba), means “God of the oath”. Yahweh remembers His promises.
And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of Yahweh blameless. (Gen 7:1, 1 Ki 9:4, 2 Ki 20:3)
And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.
And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest's office before God in the order of his course,
According to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of Yahweh. (Ex 30:7-8, 1 Chr 23:13, 2 Chr 29:11)
And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.
And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
The name John also is Providential. It means “Yahweh is a gracious giver”. Here it infers the mercy of God being extended to the children of Israel.
And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
For he shall be great in the sight of Yahweh, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb.
And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to Yahweh their God. (Mal 4:5-6)
And he shall go before Him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for Yahweh.
The fathers, the children, the disobedient, all of these things can only refer to the children of the ancient Israelites, and as we shall see several times in Luke, the gospel message can never be expanded to anyone outside of that context.
And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.
And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
Gabriel means “warrior of God”.
And, behold, thou shalt be dumb (silent), and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not My words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.
And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple.
And when he came out, he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless.
And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house.
And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,
Thus hath Yahweh dealt with me in the days wherein He looked on me, to take away my reproach among men. Luke 1:5-25
Annunciation to virgin Maria of birth of Yahshua
And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
Mariam (Mary) is derived from Hebrew words which can mean rebellious people, which the children of Israel certainly were. Therefore Yahshua Christ, God incarnate, was born of a rebellious people.
And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, Yahweh is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
This is the same Greek word as grace. There is a reason for why we have grace (favor). The promises made to the seed of Abraham are the source of our grace. Only the children of the tribes of Israel are given grace. Mary was given the high favor (grace) to bear Yahweh's most beloved Son. Mary was of the seed of Abraham.
And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call His name YAHSHUA.
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore Yahweh Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
Immanuel- is interpreted as 'God walks with us'. More of a statement than a name.
Through Greek and Latin and then into English, the Hebrew name Yahshua slowly evolved into the current English form Jesus. In Exodus chapter 23 we see a prophecy of Joshua, the son of Nun: “20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. 21 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.” Joshua, successor to Moses, was a type foreshadowing Christ, and Christianity is the successor to the heritage of the Mosaic Law. The name of Joshua is the same name in Hebrew as that of Jesus, which is Yahshua – the “J” sound as we know it being a rather late invention, it should be pronounced as it still is in German, as we in English would pronounce the “Y”.
The original form maintains the Hebrew meaning of the name: Yahweh Saves, or perhaps Yahweh is Salvation, which is descriptive of the very purpose of the Christ in the first place.
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and Yahweh God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David:
And He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end.
This verse is exclusive to the children of Jacob.
Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Daniel 7:14, 27
14 And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages (of the generations of Adam), should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.
Obadiah 1:21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be Yahweh's.
These previous few verses are prophecies of the Kingdom to come. Christ is coming back to fulfill the kingdom on earth with his saints, the seed of Abraham, His people.
Zion is the children of Israel and Esau are the Jews. Obadiah tells the fate of the Edomites.
Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing (Holy One) which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Adam was also the “Son of Yahweh”, as we read in Luke 3:38. Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians chapter 15: “45 And just as it is written, “The first man Adam came into a living soul,” the last Adam into a life producing Spirit.” While all anglo-saxon Adamic people are children of God, as it is attested in Scripture, only two men had come directly from God Himself, the first Adam and Christ, and for that reason Paul calls Christ the “last Adam”.
And, behold, thy cousin (kinswoman) Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
For with God nothing shall be impossible.
The sixth month would be late March, which contain the end of the Hebrew month Adar and beginning of Abib which is the Spring Equinox (Usually around March 20-21). Jesus would be born 6 months later, which would be late September. These are also on or around the soldier sabbaths. Christmas is a pagan holiday and was celebrated before Christ was born.
And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of Yahweh; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda;
And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit:
And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Prince should come to me?
For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from Yahweh.
And Mary said, My soul doth magnify Yahweh,
And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
For He hath regarded the low estate of His handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
Psalm 138:6 Though Yahweh be high, yet hath He respect unto the lowly: but the proud He knoweth afar off.
For He that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is His name. (Psa 71:19)
And His mercy is on them that fear Him from generation to generation.
Verses 48-50 are talking about the generations of the children of Israel.
Genesis 17:7 And I will establish My covenant between Me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
Exodus 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments.
The context is Mary and the children of Israel, Christ's ancestors and future kinsmen. The Bible is about the family, the race, the people that are kin to Christ.
He hath shewed strength with His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
Psalm 98:1 A Psalm. O sing unto Yahweh a new song; for He hath done marvellous things: His right hand, and His holy arm, hath gotten Him the victory.
Proverbs 3:34 Surely He scorneth the scorners: but He giveth grace unto the lowly.
Proverbs 3:34, from the Septuagint: “Yahweh resists the proud; but He gives grace to the humble.”
He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich He hath sent empty away.
He hath holpen (come to the aid of) His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy;
Psalm 98:3 He hath remembered His mercy and His truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation (deliverance) of our God.
Where do the “churches” get that they replace Israel? Oh yeah, the deceit of the enemy.
We are the descendants of the tribes of Israel. Don't fall for replacement theology!
As He spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed (offspring) for ever.
Genesis 17:19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
Psalm 132:11 Yahweh hath sworn in truth unto David; He will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
Today, Queen Elizabeth II sits there. Yahweh keeps His promises to His children.
And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house. Luke 1:26-56
Birth and desert life of John the Baptist
Now Elisabeth's full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.
This would be March, the spring equinox. This was originally the New Year until the Jews and the Catholics changed it. (Dan 7:25)
And her neighbours and her cousins heard how Yahweh had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.
And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.
And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John.
And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name.
And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called.
And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all.
And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God.
And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judaea.
And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of Yahweh was with him.
Psalm 80:17 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.
And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying,
Blessed be Yahweh God of Israel; for He hath visited and redeemed His people,
Isaiah 43:1 But now thus saith Yahweh that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David;
David was of the tribe of Judah, as is Christ, and up through to Queen Elisabeth II.
As He spake by the mouth of His holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
Jeremiah 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. (Dan 9:24)
That we should be saved (preserved) from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember His holy covenant;
Leviticus 26:42 Then will I remember My covenant with Jacob, and also My covenant with Isaac, and also My covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land. (Ez 16:60)
The oath which He sware to our father Abraham,
That He would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve Him without fear,
In holiness and righteousness before Him, all the days of our life.
Jeremiah 32:39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear Me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:
And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of Yahweh to prepare His ways (path);
Isaiah 40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of Yahweh, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. (Mal 3:1)
To give knowledge of salvation unto His people by the remission of their sins,
Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel. Luke 1:57-80
But I though the “church” replaces the children of Israel in the NT.
The Bible is the book written by, to, for and about the race of Adam. In NO way is this book dividing the promises, covenants and inheritance from the children of Israel and the “church”.
That raises the question, which “church” then? Yours? The Methodist's? Catholics? Muslim? A building with any mixed number of people is not God's “church”.
The Greek word, which was changed to “church”, is 'ecclessia' and means a 'called out' body, a congregation of the race of Adam, those with the Spirit (DNA). Scripture clearly and exclusively identifies only the children of Israel as saints, the 'called', chosen, the only family Yahweh has known, a peculiar people.
Birth month of John the Baptist
After Zacharias' duty at the Temple according to his course (Abijah-8) he returned home and he and Elisabeth conceived John around late June/ Tammuz, Sivan and was born around late March/Adar, Abib which is the Spring Equinox. Jesus would be born 6 months later, which would be late September.
Annunciation to Joseph of birth of Yahshua
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as His mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together (consummation), she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.
Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. (Deut 24:1)
Matthew provides sufficient genealogical evidence to show that Yahshua Christ indeed stood in line and inherited the rightful claim to rule from Joseph – his lawful father. If one thinks about it, this is exactly the way in which the children of Cain came to claim the inheritance of Adam, long beforetime in the Garden of Eden. In fact all of the circumstances of the birth of the Christ mirror those of the birth of Cain which caused a need for the Christ! When Adam accepted Eve, he accepted Cain in her womb and Cain became his first-born heir. When Joseph acceded to the instructions of the angel and accepted Mary, he accepted Christ in her womb as his first-born heir!
From The Lost Books of The Bible and The Forgotten Books of Eden, “The Protevangelion” 10:1-10: “1 And when her sixth month was come, Joseph returned from his building houses abroad, which was his trade, and entering into the house, found the Virgin grown big: 2 Then smiting upon his face, he said, With what face can I look up to the Lord my God? or, what shall I say concerning this young woman? 3 For I received her a Virgin out of the temple of the Lord my God! and have not preserved her such! 4 Who has thus deceived me? Who has committed this evil in my house, and seducing the Virgin from me, hath defiled her? 5 Is not the history of Adam exactly accomplished in me? 6 For in the very instant of his glory, the serpent came and found Eve alone, and seduced her. 7 Just after the same manner it has happened to me. 8 Then Joseph arising from the ground, called her, and said, O thou who hast been so much favoured by God, why hast thou done this? 9 Why hast thou thus debased thy soul, who wast educated in the Holy of Holies, and received thy food from the hand of angels? 10 But she, with a flood of tears, replied, I am innocent, and have known no man.” No matter what we think about this apocryphal book, it can surely be demonstrated to be of great antiquity, and its author knew the story of the Bible.
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of Yahweh appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name YAHSHUA: for He shall save His people from their sins.
Yah means God, Shua means saves, hence God Saves, Yahshua.
Exodus 23:21 Beware of Him, and obey His voice, provoke Him not; for He will not pardon your transgressions: for My name (Yahweh) is in Him.
The name 'Joshua' means the same thing as Yahshua, and is a parallel symbol. Joshua led the people into the Promised Land, Christ will lead us into the Kingdom.
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of Yahweh by the prophet, saying,
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. (Is 7:14)
This verse is stating that 'they' (the people) will refer to Him as 'God walks with us'.
The manuscripts do not say 'His name', it simply reads '...and they shall call Him Emmanuel' (which is an interpretation as verse 23 states).
Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of Yahweh had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: (Ex 13:2)
And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called His name YAHSHUA. Matthew 1:18-25
The angel commanded him to call Him Yahshua.
The word 'knew, or know' means to have sex.
Birth of Yahshua
And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
The word 'world' is always mistranslated in the KJV.
It almost always refers to society, Adamic society to be precise. Sometimes it refers to an age, or order. Throughout history, the anglo-saxon race is the one that establishes society, usually under the laws of God, only to fall away, become weak through mixing races, and ultimately crumble. Just about where we are now.
Caesar could not have meant he was going to tax the blacks, orientals, Mexicans, and Eskimos.
(And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
That would be of the tribe of Judah, the posterity of Jacob. The seed of Abraham.
To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:1-7
Mary was also the mother of James, Joses, and Jude.
Birth month of Jesus
Going by scriptural references and birth of John, our kinsman redeemer was conceived late December/Chislev, Tebeth and born late September/Elul, Ethanim.
If you remember that the shepherds were keeping watch over their flocks in the fields at night. This they would not have been doing in the cold winter month of December.
The Catholic Church in an effort to gain more masses and money, adopted many pagan religions, customs, and beliefs. Catholic means universalism, which is contrary to scripture.
December 25 is referred to in documents as Christmas Day in A.D. 324 for the first time. Under the Roman emperor Justinian [A.D. 527-565] it was recognized as an official holiday.
It is a fact that December 25 was celebrated for thousands of years before the birth of the Messiah as the birth day of an ancient pagan god -- THE SUN GOD!
The largest pagan religious cult which fostered sun worship in the Greek and Roman world (Society)s on December 25 was the cult of Mithraism. They called it "the Nativity of the Sun." Mithras, the sun-god, was supposed to have been born at this time, but so were Osiris, Horus, Tammuz, Hercules, Bacchus, Adonis, Jupiter -- all the pagan Messiahs! This fact alone would seem to indicate that all these pagan sun-gods and deities trace their roots back to the original sun-god of ancient Babylon -- Nimrod! The Catholic Church took the excitement which surrounded the Roman Saturnalia, with its excesses, delights, debauchery, and wantonness, and called them the celebration of the birth of the Son of God. Most people today still think of December 25 as the birth day of Jesus, even though this is definitely not the case.
Should Christians today celebrate this ancient festival? Many today may think it is all right, but the opinions of men are not our standard or authority. What does the Word of God itself say about this matter? It is a very serious question. Is it all right in the sight of God for men to take pagan customs and traditions, and to observe them, calling them "Christian"? Is it all right to merge and combine PAGAN practices with the truth of God?
Praise of the angels and homage of the shepherds
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
They would not be grazing in the field in the winter. This would now be late September.
And, lo, the angel of Yahweh came upon them, and the glory of Yahweh shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
The Greek has '...to all the people.'
The people would be all the people of the children of Jacob, the anointed seed of Abraham.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Prince.
Christ, is primarily a Greek adjective which means 'anointed'. The Anointed Prince.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Verse 14 is a reading of the Greek which does not exist in any manuscript from before the 6th century. It shows the subtle changes made to support 'universalism'.
The Greek based on older texts backs up scripture and that the bible is for the generations of Adam (Gen 5:1).
The originals read:
14 “Honor to Yahweh in the heights, and peace upon the earth among approved men.”
And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which Yahweh hath made known unto us.
And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.
And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. Luke 2:8-20
Nowhere is it stated that there were 3 wise men.
The Magi were a priesthood found primarily among the Persians, Medes, and Parthians.
Circumcision of Yahshua
And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, His name was called YAHSHUA, which was so named of the angel before He was conceived in the womb.
Presentation in the Temple with homage of Simeon and Anna
And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought Him to Jerusalem, to present Him to Yahweh; (Lev 12:2-4)
(As it is written in the law of Yahweh, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to Yahweh;)
And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of Yahweh, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.
And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Spirit, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ (the Anointed Prince).
And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for Him after the custom of the law,
Then took he Him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, (Isa 52:10)
Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
Another translational mishap. It should read '...of all the people;'. The people of light.
A light to lighten the Gentiles (Nations), and the glory (honor) of thy people Israel.
32 A light for the revelation of the Nations and honor of your people Israel.
“Gentile” should not be in scripture, it wasn't in the original manuscripts or the early texts.
It comes from the Latin word 'gentilis' which means, people of the same race, nation or kin. It has been changed by our enemy to mean 'non-Israelite'. It is used to support their doctrine that the Jews are Israel and we are “Gentiles”. The Jews are of Cain and Esau. We are of Adam and Jacob.
In scripture, the “Gentiles” are really the dispersed tribes of Israel that did not return to Judaea after the Assyrian and Babylonian captivities. Because of this they lost and/or forgot their heritage. These are the “lost” sheep of Israel.
Only a handful of times “Gentile” is use in reference to other nations and peoples, as that is what the word means, simply any nation, race, or people.
Isaiah 9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
Isaiah 42:6 I Yahweh have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a revelation of the Nations of Israel;
Isaiah 49:6 And He said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the dispersed Nations of Israel, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
And Joseph and His mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of Him.
And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary His mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again (restoration) of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;
Those who ignored or rejected him and sided with His enemies would fall. All of those who would accept Him would be restored.
Isaiah 8:14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin (net) and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Hosea 14:9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of Yahweh are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
(Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;
Asher was one of Jacob's children.
The “churches” and the Jews teach that the tribes of Israel were absorbed by the Assyrians or just simply disappeared.
Brethren, the anglo-saxon race are the living descendants of these 12 tribes.
And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years (84), which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.
And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto Yahweh, and spake of Him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem. Luke 2:22-38
The following sets up the next segment.
The conspiracy against the Christ.
In the Revelation at 12:4 we see “And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, in order that when she should give birth he may devour her child.“
The dragon here is represented by the historical Herod the Great, for only he attempted to murder the Christ child as soon as he was born, as we find recorded here in Matthew. The fact that Herod represents the dragon is quite profound once we discover that he was not an Israelite, but an Edomite by race. That Herod was indeed of the seed of Esau is fully apparent in the pages of the Judaean historian, Flavius Josephus, where it is attested to directly or indirectly at least five times, and those instances shall be cited here:
Josephus, Antiquities, 14:8: But there was a certain friend of Hyrcanus, an Idumean, called Antipater (Father of Herod), who was very rich, and in his nature an active and a seditious man; who was at enmity with Aristobulus, and had differences with him on account of his goodwill to Hyrcanus.
See also: Josephus, Antiquities 14:120-121, 14:403, Wars, 1:123, 1:312-313,
When Herod secured power in Judaea, he put all of the principle men of the land to death, who were connected to the Hasamoneans (the Maccabees). Later, he murdered his own wife and several of his own sons. Not long before his own death, after a failed sedition against him, he again had all of the principle men of Judaea gathered into the Hippodrome, and had them all slain. This would have been right around the time of the birth of Christ, and surely would have been a distraction from any of his other misdeeds. Herod died in 1 B.C., only a little over a year or so after Christ was born.
Magi visit the new-born Prince
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
Note: Nowhere is it stated that there were 3 wise men.
The Magi were Parthians descended from Pharez (Judah).
Saying, Where is He that is born King of the Judaeans? for we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him.
When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, (Micah 5:1-3)
And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, art not the least among the princes of Judah: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule My people Israel. (John 7:42, Rev 2:27)
Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found Him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship Him also.
Here Herod was lying about worshiping Him. The enmity of Gen 3:15 was in his blood.
When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary His mother, and fell down, and worshipped Him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto Him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
Psalm 72:10 The kings of Tarshish (Spain) and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
The generations of Adam as well as the tribes of Israel had spread out and settled as far a Spain and Asia Minor by this time.
And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. Matthew 2:1-12
The child Yahshua carried to Egypt, the children at Bethlehem slain
And when they(wise men) were departed, behold, the angel of Yahweh appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and His mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy Him.
When he arose, he took the young child and His mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
Christ, being described as a young child, would have been about 2 years old.
And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of Yahweh by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called My son.
Hosea 11:1 When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
Christ was a child of Jacob's. Of his race. Of his seed.
Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.
Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying,
In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not. (Jer 31:15)
The child brought from Egypt to Nazareth
But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of Yahweh appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,
Saying, Arise, and take the young child and His mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.
And he arose, and took the young child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel.
Herod was succeeded by his son, Herod Archelaus, who was twice as wicked as his father, and deposed by the Romans after a few years of rule.
But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:
And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.
That Christ was to be called a Nazarene, is a literal interpretation of the Hebrew word for branch, which is netzar, Strong's number H5342, which is translated branch at Isaiah 11:1. This word also apparently gave the town of Nazareth its name.
Lamentations 4:7 Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire:
Jesus was NOT a Jew. Herod was a Jew.
Scripture cannot be understood if you do not understand the characters. Gen 3:15 explains it best. Follow the line of Seth and you reach Us today, the anglo-saxon race. Adam's race.
Follow the line of Cain and later Esau and you reach The JEWS, a mixed, and perverted race. Satan's race.
And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace (favor) of
God was upon Him. Matthew 2:19-23 Luke 2:39-40
12 year old Yahshua visits Jerusalem
Now His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.
And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
All men of Israel were commanded to appear before Yahweh on three of the yearly feasts. This was commanded at Exodus 23:14-17, and also at Deuteronomy 16:16
And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and His mother knew not of it.
But they, supposing Him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought Him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.
And when they found Him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking Him.
And it came to pass, that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors (teachers), both hearing them, and asking them questions.
And all that heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers.
And when they saw Him, they were amazed: and His mother said unto Him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
And He said unto them, How is it that ye sought Me? wist ye not that I must be about (engaged in) My Father's business?
And they understood not the saying which He spake unto them.
And He went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but His mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. Luke 2:41-52
The Missing Years of Christ
Joseph of Arimathea was the uncle of Mary, and thus a great uncle to the Christ by direct relationship. He was a man of great means and great influence, a powerful trading merchant, who owned the tin mines of Cornwall.
Joseph was a man of stature in the land and respected in Rome. We know that he was also one of the Essenes, and a member in the Sanhedrin, although he was not allowed to sit in the Sanhedrin as a Pharisee at the time of the trial of Christ. He was known as a man of honesty and also had a great determination to see that the program of the Kingdom of Heaven was advanced. Joseph of Arimathea used his great wealth to try to develop the acceptance of The Christ as the Messiah, and he used that wealth to bring in the necessary equipment and secure the manpower for the bringing about of the Coronation of The Christ, as King of Israel.
He was the one who caused the Chalice (communion cup) which Jesus was to use, to be prepared.
Britain was the area where Joseph of Arimathea owned great hides of land. In fact the whole site of Glastonbury in Britain belonged to Joseph of Arimathea. This is the site Christ (before he started his ministry) visited as he sailed on the ships of Joseph of Arimathea. Actually at that time there were 40 universities in Britain, all of which are still in existence today, and whose names are traced back to their names at that ancient time when young Jesus of Nazareth visited them.
So let's take a look again to the lands where Joseph of Arimathea was going---and why was he going there?--He already owned land here but also another cousin of Mary, the mother of Jesus, lived here. Her name was Anna, and this Anna was the wife of King Rufus. So the unique things about this is that Jesus the Christ --as the son of Mary was related to the line from which most of the Welch stock came from in the land of Britain. Those people in Britain were very interested in the teachings of Jesus when he had visited there and taught the masters of the universities. And there are records of this and at that time people said, “this must be the Messiah, even though he stands here as a youth.”
The Druids had a long and ancient doctrine and that doctrine was the background of most of the theology of all the people of western Europe. Now it was referred to as Pagan by some who did not know better--but this doctrine taught that a God of spirit had put together the whole universe. They not only believed that he existed in spirit but that the great triad of his being was soul, spirit and body. The body of deity was called YESHU---this 1000 years before the coming of The Christ to the British Isles, so it was not hard for them to accept the name of Jesus which was a later name in Druidry, and was also the name which they took from the Apostle Paul's writings to the people of Greece. And Paul used the word in Greek language for the HIGH GOD --embodied as savior, and that word was Yah-Zeus.
Mary the mother of the Christ was brought here and also Lazarus was with them. At this place Joseph of Arimathea built a great Christian Mission and they entered into HIS service and because of this the King of England removed this land from the tax rolls and he said no Church of England would ever have to pay taxes. And that started the tradition of exemption of the church from taxation. So with this tradition is the connection of this man--Joseph of Arimathea--the uncle of the Virgin Mary who had to flee from Jerusalem because of his stand for Jesus the Christ. And Because he let Him use his own tomb.
Here also in Glastonbury, was the place of rest for the Mother of The Christ. And today you can see the tomb of Mary.
Lazarus came with Joseph of Arimathea and he served 40 years in Britain as he went up and down the countryside teaching and preaching in the early Christian Churches. Also Romulus and Marcellus were with this group and they also were in HIS service in Britain.
Then another cousin of Mary whose name was Claudias went to Rome and there she married Rufus of the Roman Senate. This man was a very influential man in the Senate at Rome. He was a friend of the people of Britain. This family was so well liked that they moved at will throughout the Roman Empire and into Britain. When there was trouble in Britain, Caesar always used this family to help settle those difficulties.
Remember that Paul who was in Rome for his trial, was allowed to go to other places. And he went to Britain and also to Spain. Paul always sent special greetings to the Royal Family by this family with whom he stayed in Rome and whom he referred to in his Epistles.
The church which Joseph founded grew into a great Abbey. Ministers then went out from the Abbey to preach. They were called Episcopalians.
So we see, therefore, that not only ancient legends and ancient historical records, but the official acts and records of kings of the Middle ages, have recognized the close connection of Joseph of Arimathea, the uncle of Jesus Christ, with Cornwall and Glastonbury, in Britain. All of these lend strong support to the ancient legends and records of these places that it was here that Jesus Christ spent those 18 years of His life which the Bible does not account for. And, where else would we expect Him to go, but to what was to become the principal home of His own people, ISRAEL?
The time of the beginning
The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
Where it says “the beginning of the good message of Yahshua Christ”, we may think of the Greek to mean the foundation or source.
The source of the gospel message is found in the relationship of Abraham and Yahweh. Abraham put his total loyalty (faith, allegiance, practice, trust) in what Yahweh told him, and dedicated Isaac to Him. Isaac's seed is now Yahweh's. Because Yahweh made an exclusive covenant and promise to Abraham's seed, literal descendants, through Isaac and Jacob, He owns us. This seed (anglo-saxon Adamites) disobeyed His law, that was given to us, and agreed to by us, so He divorced us. Cast His sheep into the wilderness as punishment. Our punishment is death. And rightfully so. But He loved us so much, and by His own law, He remembered His promise to Abraham, so He sent our Prince Yahshua Christ, our own flesh and blood, to die, to make atonement for our error of disobedience, so we, through the practice of allegiance (faith) we must imitate His example, to Honor Him, so that we may rejoin (marry) our Bridegroom.
Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene,
Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. Mark 1:1 Luke 3:1-2
First, in the 6th century BC the Edomites had made league with the Babylonians and then assisted them in the destruction of Jerusalem. Speaking of this very thing is Psalm 137:7, which exclaims: “Remember, O YAHWEH, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.” Likewise, from the Septuagint, from 1 Esdras 4:45 we read: “Thou also hast vowed to build up the temple, which the Edomites burned when Judea was made desolate by the Chaldees.”
After the deportations of the last of Judah by the Babylonians, it is evident that those same Edomites moved into the land.
Ezekiel chapters 35 and 36 discuss the Edomite takeover of lands formerly belonging to Israel and Judah.
Today most of the world's people perceive the goings-on in Palestine as the struggle of Israel for their ancient land. But the Jews are not Israel, they are Edom, who as Malachi says is returning to build the waste places, and Yahweh will not be tricked.
Josephus, Antiquities Book 13: “257 Hyrcanus took also Dora and Marissa, cities of Idumea, and subdued all the Idumeans (Edomites); and permitted them to stay in that country, if they would submit to circumcision, and make use of the laws of the Judaeans; 258 and they were so desirous of living in the country of their forefathers, that they submitted to the right of circumcision, and of the rest of the Judaean ways of living; at which time, therefore, this befell them, that they were hereafter considered to be Judaeans.” (Rev 2:9, 3:9) The blasphemy of them which say they are Judaeans, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
1 Maccabees 2:46 states: “And what children soever they found within the coast of Israel uncircumcised, those they circumcised valiantly.” From the first days of the Maccabees, they were circumcising children by Geography, and not by ethnicity, and it can be shown in history and in Scripture that many other peoples lived within the “coasts of Israel”.
The children of Israel were circumcised to distinguish themselves from the other races.
This is one of the ways how the Edomites infiltrated the priesthood of Israel.
Malachi prophesied of John the Baptist, the central figure of Matthew chapter 3, and he also prophesied of a coming corrupt priesthood.
See Malachi 1:1-4, 2:8, 3:1 The last part of Malachi is an end-time prophecy which in part parallels Obadiah.
In the Old Testament, washing of the body is seen of the priests before they enter into the temple to do service and to make sacrifice. From Leviticus 8:4-6: “4 And Moses did as Yahweh commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 5 And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which Yahweh commanded to be done. 6 And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.” And from Numbers 8:21-22: “And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before Yahweh; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them. 22 And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as Yahweh had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.” All of Numbers chapter 8 describes the cleansing of the Levites. Aside from these passages concerning the priests, or certain occasions where people are instructed in what to do upon exposure to diseases or corpses, or certain other circumstances, there is no other ritual cleansing of the body required, Remember the words of Yahweh in Malachi chapter 3, “and he shall purify the sons of Levi”:John the Baptist was also a Levite, so he could fulfill the priestly role of cleansing which Moses the Levite had done first, long before him. It is apparent, that Yahshua coming to be the final ritual sacrifice for the children of Israel, the prophecy and baptism of John – for the sons of Levi – was also symbolic of the Old Testament law. That is why John was sent to baptize the sons of Levi – so that Christ could be properly sacrificed! Now Israel has been cleansed of all their sins by Christ Himself, as foretold by the prophets, and they have no need of any further cleansing.
In Christianity, the priests were cleansed before the sacrifice, not the people, and John the Baptist fulfilled that. We have taken the power to cleanse our sins which belongs to the sacrifice – which is what Yahshua is – and we have wrongly transferred it to the priests themselves, who merely conducted the ritual! We are cleansed through Yahshua's sacrifice, and not through the rituals of the priests! Immersion with truth and understanding is being baptized by the Word.
Water and a man can do nothing for you. There is no priesthood anymore, Christ is our reigning High Priest.
In those days came John the Baptist, preaching (proclaiming) in the wilderness of Judaea,
And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Dan 2:44)
John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;
As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Behold, I send My messenger before thy face, Prepare ye the way of the Prince, make His paths straight.
Isaiah 40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of Yahweh, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;
And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
Psalm 98:2 Yahweh hath made known His salvation: His righteousness hath He openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
Locusts and grasshoppers, while many of us would not consider them appetizing, were in the law considered clean, and therefore they could be used as food, as it is described in Leviticus 11:21-23
And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing (acknowledging) their sins. (Acts 19:4,18)
John was a Levite, after his father Zacharias was slain by whom Christ called ”serpents, ye generation (race) of vipers”, John became the last high priest. The priest's job was to cleanse the priesthood and then the sacrifice. He was putting the priesthood in order by water baptism to make way for the final sacrificial cleansing, preparing Christ.
Matthew 3:1-6 Mark 1:2-6 Luke 3:3-6
John the Baptist preaching
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation (race) of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
John was identifying the children of Cain and Esau. The race of vipers.
The Pharisees did not come to John because they believed him. They really came in order to see what he was doing. John was sent “to cleanse the sons of Levi”, as it is evident at Malachi chapter 3. John's having called certain of the Judaeans a “race of vipers” by itself indicates that they are certainly not Levites.
Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
Abraham is their father, through Esau. Esau was a Hebrew, but since he took Canaanite wives, his descendants were of mixed blood, and are known as Edomites. Vessels of destruction.
John knows that these people are evil, where he says “who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?” He is challenging them to do good, as Yahweh challenged Cain to do good. Cain was told “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?” (Genesis 4:7) and immediately he went out and killed his brother. Of course Yahweh knew that Cain could not do well, just as he knew that Esau would be a race traitor and sinner from the womb.
And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
The Edomite tree is Evil, an evil tree cannot produce good fruit.
When Abraham dedicated Isaac on the altar, his seed was now Yahweh's. Jacob and his seed are the vessels of mercy. Esau and his seed are the vessels of destruction.
And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?
He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do?
And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.
And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.
Matthew 3:7-10 Luke 3:7-14
Exodus 23:1 Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
Leviticus 19:11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
Forepicture of Messiah before seeing Him
And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused (reasoned) in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not;
John preached, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear : He shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire:
Acts 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence.
Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Prince, how that He said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.
We can clearly see that these are two different baptisms (immersions) being contrasted here.
Water baptism was the fulfillment of duty of the Levitical priesthood for the priesthood and last sacrifice, Christ. Since there is no priesthood after Christ replaced the priesthood, becoming our High Priest, then no man can perform this ritual anymore. Christ is our intercessor. We are baptized (immersed) in knowledge and truth of the things that pertain with the Spirit.
Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
Water is symbolic of the Word, the knowledge and understanding of your Spirit, who you are, and more importantly, whose you are.
Whose fan is in His hand, and He will throughly purge His floor, and will gather the wheat into His garner; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.
The wheat represents the children of Israel.
Malachi 3:3 And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto Yahweh an offering in righteousness.
John was cleansing the Levitical priesthood with water baptism. Preparing the way.
Micah 4:12 But they know not the thoughts of Yahweh, neither understand they His counsel: for He shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.
The chaff represents the tares, the children of Cain and Esau.
And many other things in his exhortation preached he unto the people.
Mark 1:7-8 Matthew 3:11-12 Luke 3:15-18
Yahshua baptized by John in the Jordan
And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.
The cleansing of the priests, and the cleansing of the Lamb - which is the sacrifice – were commanded in the Law.
But John forbad Him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered Him.
And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him: and lo a voice came from heaven, saying, This is My beloved Son; in whom I am well pleased. Matthew 3:13-17 Mark 1:9-11 Luke 3:21-22
Psalm 2:7 I will declare the decree: Yahweh hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
This is in fulfillment of Isaiah 11:1-4
Three temptations of Yahshua
And Jesus being full of the Holy Spirit returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into
And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted (tried, tested) of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto Him.
And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, being tempted of the devil, and in those days He did eat nothing: He afterward hungred. (Ex 34:28, 1 Ki 19:8)
And when the tempter, the devil came to Him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that this stone that it be made bread.
But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Deut 8:3)
Then the devil taketh Him up into the holy city, and set Him on a pinnacle of the temple,
And said unto Him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give His angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. (Psa 91:11-12)
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt Yahweh thy God. (Deut 6:16)
Again, the devil taketh Him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth Him all the kingdoms of the (inhabited) world in a moment of time, and the glory of them;
And the devil said unto Him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is
delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
Revelation 13:2, 7
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints (children of Israel), and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Satan is the current prince of this age, and his children are the agitators.
If thou therefore wilt fall down and worship me, all shall be thine.
When Adam accepted Eve in her sin, he also accepted Cain as his son. Just as Joseph was told by the angel to accept the pregnant Mary and therefore Christ became his lawful heir, so it was also with Adam and Cain.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind Me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship Yahweh thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve. (Deut 6:13, 10:20)
Then the devil had ended all the temptation (trials), he departed from Him for a season, and behold, angels came and ministered unto Him.
Matthew 4:1-11 Mark 1:12-13 Luke 4:1-13
Testimony of John the Baptist to the committee of the Sanhedrin
And this is the record of John, when the Judaeans sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?
The Levites were the priesthood for the children of Israel. At the time of Christ, the Edomite Jews had taken control of the religious sects of Judaea.
And he confessed (admitted), and denied not; but confessed (admitted), I am not the Christ.
And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elijah? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. (Mal 4:5, Deut 18:15)
Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?
He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Prince, as said the prophet Isaiah. (Is 40:3)
And they which were sent were of the Pharisees.
And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that (the) Christ, nor Elijah, neither that (a) prophet?
John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.
These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. John 1:19-28
John, a Levite, was sent to cleanse the Levitical priesthood and prepare the final sacrifice.
John's identification of Yahshua as the Messiah
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world (society). (Ex 12:3, Is 53:7)
This is He of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for He was before me.
And I knew Him not: but that He should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
Again, John's purpose was to cleanse the priesthood and prepare the Lamb. This was done with water. After Christ died, the priesthood expired because Christ assumed the role of High Priest. Baptism by water expired, it's purpose fulfilled. Immersion in the knowledge and understanding of Christ is how we are baptized.
And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon Him.
And I knew Him not: but He that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, the same is He which baptizeth with the Holy Spirit.
And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. John 1:29-34
When we repent and ask for remission of error, we are cleansed and the Holy Spirit can abide in us. With knowledge and understanding of our heritage, plan and righteousness we are immersed with the Holy Spirit.
Yahshua makes His first disciple
Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;
And looking upon Jesus as He walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!
And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto Him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?
He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where He dwelt, and abode with Him that day: for it was about the tenth hour (4pm).
One of the two which heard John speak, and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.
He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
Messiah means 'oil'. Christ means 'anointed'.
And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, He said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.
The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow Me.
Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found Him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write (the OT), Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.
Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.
Nathanael answered and saith unto Him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.
And He saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man. (Gen 28:12)
Verse 49 states that Christ is the King of Israel.
The “churches” teach that the “church” takes the place of Israel.
The scriptures teach that the Israel of the OT is the same as the NT. This is the seed of Abraham, the kinsmen of Christ, our brother. Yahweh did not change His mind and replace His children with the “church”.
Yahshua works His first miracle
And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
And both Jesus was called (invited), and His disciples, to the marriage.
And when they wanted (were short of) wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto Him, They have no wine.
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
4 And Yahshua says to her: “What is there with Me and with you, woman? My hour has not yet come!”
His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it.
Christ honored His mother by following her demand.
And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Judaeans, containing two or three firkins apiece.
Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
And He saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth His glory (honor); and His disciples believed on Him. John 2:1-11
Yahshua's first sojourn at Capernaum, with His kindred and early disciples
After this He went down to Capernaum, He, and His mother, and His brethren, and His disciples: and they continued there not many days. John 2:12
Christ came for His kinsmen, both near and far, His disciples were His kinsmen, His brethren in verse 12, were His brothers through Mary, evidently after Joseph had died.
First cleansing of Temple at the Passover
And the Judaean's passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
Exodus 12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to Yahweh throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
This is the 1st of 4 Passovers during the ministry of Christ. It is evident that this was the first of two temple overthrowings by Christ. The other event happens later in His ministry and recorded by Matthew in chapter 21, Mark in 11, and Luke in 19.
And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
And when He had made a scourge of small cords, He drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not My Father's house an house of merchandise.
And His disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten Me up.
Psalm 69:9 For the zeal of thine house hath eaten Me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon Me.
Then answered the Judaeans (Edomites) and said unto Him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
Then said the Judaeans, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
But He spake of the temple of His body.
Colossians 2:9 For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Hebrews 8:2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Prince pitched, and not man.
When therefore He was risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
Interview of Nicodemus with Yahshua
Now when He was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in His name, when they saw the miracles which He did.
But Jesus did not commit (entrust) Himself unto them, because He knew all men,
The end of verse 24 should read, '...on account that He knowing everyone,'
And needed not that any should testify of man: for He knew what was in (a) man.
Christ knew that there were Canaanites and Edomites among the Israelites in Judaea. He knew He was a threat to the children of darkness, and that He had work to fulfill, so He did not tarry there putting Himself in jeopardy.
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Judaeans:
The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto Him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with Him.
Nicodemus was an Israelite Judaean and a member of the sect of Pharisees. The religious sects were under the control of the Edomites at this time. Very similar to our government.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
3 Yahshua replied and said to him: “Truly, truly I say to you, unless a man should be born from above, he is not able to see the Kingdom of Yahweh.”
Born (G1080) means by definition, to bring forth or be delivered of.
Again (G509) means by definition, from above, or from the beginning.
Nicodemus saith unto Him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Note: Nicodemus said a “second time, or again.”
Jesus said “from above.”
Jesus did not use this word 'deuteros'; Jesus used the word 'anothen':
Strong G509 anothen- “from above”, or “from the first”.
Nicodemus used the word “deuteros”
Strong G1208 deuteros- “again”, or “a second time”
The “churches” are like Nicodemus, and focus on what Nic said.
The scriptures teach the true meaning, which is born from above. Which is what Christ said.
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water (birth sac) and of the Spirit (race, DNA), he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
7 You should not wonder that I said to you that it is necessary for you to be born from above.
Same thing, born (G1080) and again (G509) Bring forth from above.
Here's a few more examples:
John 19:11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against Me, except it were given thee from above (G509): therefore he that delivered Me unto thee hath the greater sin.
Why does it say “from above” when the same word is G509 which is incorrectly translated “again”, in John 3:7? The word “again” would not make sense in John 19:11 would it?
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above (G509), and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Once more, why did the KJV keep “from above” here? Every good gift and every perfect gift is “again”. Doesn't make sense.
James 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above (G509), but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
And here, This wisdom descendeth not “again”? No
James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above (G509) is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
But the wisdom that is “again”?
Born again is a deliberate mistranslation that is used to support universalism of Yahweh's promises to the seed of Abraham, to everybody in the world.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Those born of the Spirit have the law in their hearts. It's in our DNA.
Nicodemus answered and said unto Him, How can these things be?
Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel (teacher), and knowest not these things?
Nicodemus should now these things, but when evil infiltrates, they subtly distort truth. The Pharisees and religious sects of the time were overrun with Edomites, teaching for doctrine the 'commandments of men', Judaism. The same problem exists in our “churches” today.
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
11 Truly, truly I say to you, that which we know we speak and that which we have seen we attest to, and you do not receive our testimony!
If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
In verse 13, 'even' does not belong, and 'which is in heaven' is not in the oldest manuscripts.
13 Now no one ascends into the heaven except he who has descended from heaven: the Son of Man.
Proverbs 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is His name, and what is His son's name, if thou canst tell?
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
Numbers 21:9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
Christ compared His own crucifixion to Moses lifting up the serpent in the wilderness.
For reason that the serpent race, by crucifying Christ, would be ensuring it's own destruction.
Verse 14 is a prophecy and sign that the serpents would crucify Christ.
The serpent facilitated the fall of our race intentionally, and also unwittingly facilitated our restoration.
Christ redeemed us, and indicted them. Just as the serpent deceived Eve and indicted Adam.
That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
The Greek word is 'pas', meaning 'each'. Each of those who He came for. (Matt 10:6, 15:24, Luke 15:4, 6)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
1John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His best loved Son into the society, that we might live through Him.
In verse 16, the 'world' is 'kosmos', meaning the society, the decoration of the dwelling place.
'only begotten' comes from 'monogenes', meaning only born, meaning fulfilled, resulting in 'best loved'.
We are loved, Christ was 'best loved' because He fulfilled His position of Son, we have yet to do this.
Other examples are found in Hebrews 11:17 By faith (allegiance) Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Abraham had other sons, Isaac was his most beloved. (See also Josephus Ant. 20:2:1)
'whosoever' comes from 'pas', meaning 'each', each of a group. In the context of the Bible, whosoever, every, and all, refers to the group of the race of Adam, specifically the children of Israel.
Now verse 16 properly translated from the original Greek:
16 For Yahweh so loved the Society, that He gave the most-beloved Son, in order that each who believes in Him would not be lost but would have eternal life.
Some say that verse 16 is not in the older manuscripts and was added later. It is evident by the oldest manuscripts that verse 16 is indeed there, and indeed different than the newer translations.
For God sent not His Son into the world (society) to condemn the world (society); but that the world (society) through Him might be saved.
He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten (most beloved) Son of God.
Most people do not know His name, and most put their trust in what the “churches” teach.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world (society), and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
People love what the 'churches” teach.
Friends, the “churches” are just repeating and supporting the distortion that has been pulled over their eyes.
For every one that doeth (practices) evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved (exposed).
But he that doeth (practices) truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought (engaged in) in God. John 2:23-John 3:21
Parallel ministry of Yahshua and John the Baptist and his loyalty to Him
After these things came Jesus and His disciples into the land of Judaea; and there He tarried with them, and baptized.
And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
For John was not yet cast into prison.
Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Judaeans about purifying.
And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, He that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to Him.
John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
Hebrews 5:4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before Him. (Mal 3:1)
He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
Isaiah 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; Yahweh of hosts is His name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall He be called.
Hosea 2:7, 19-20
7 And she (the bride) shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them: then shall she say, I will go and return to my first husband; for then was it better with me than now.
19 And I will betroth thee unto Me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto Me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
20 I will even betroth thee unto Me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the Prince.
He must increase, but I must decrease.
30 It is necessary for Him to be augmented, and for me to be diminished.
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: He that cometh from heaven is above all.
The first 'above' is G509, the same word that is incorrectly from 'born again'. The other two words 'above' are from G1883, meaning rank.
And what He hath seen and heard, that He testifieth; and no man receiveth His testimony.
He that hath received His testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
For He whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
'unto him' is added.
Some of us are stronger in the Spirit than others, but we are of one body, we are all important members.
The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into His hand.
He that believeth (G4100) on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth (G544) not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:22-36
The second word 'believeth' is a different Greek word than the first.
'...but he disobeying the Son does not see life. Rather the wrath of Yahweh waits for him!'
Yahshua's reasons for leaving Judea
When therefore the Christ knew how the Pharisees had heard that He made and baptized more disciples than John,
(Though Jesus Himself baptized not, but His disciples,)
He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.
And He must needs go through Samaria.
And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, : and there went out a fame of Him through all the region round about.
But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by John for Herodias his brother Philip's wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done,
Added yet this above all, that he shut up John in prison.
Luke 3:19-20,4:14 John 4:1-4 Matthew 4:12 Mark 1:14
Yahshua in Samaria at Jacob's well and in Sychar
Then cometh He to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
Genesis 33:19 And he (Jacob) bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for an hundred pieces of money.
Genesis 48:22 Moreover I (Jacob) have given to thee (Joseph) one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.
Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour (noon).
There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give Me to drink.
(For His disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
Then saith the woman of Samaria unto Him, How is it that thou, being a Judaean, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Judaeans have no dealings with the Samaritans.
Samaria was the capitol of the House of Israel (the 10 northern tribes, also known as the uncircumcision, the dispersed Nations, and wrongly “Gentiles”). When the children of Israel were taken captive and out of that land, they were replaced with Canaanites and other nations of peoples. The Judaeans were the remnant of the House of Judah that returned after the Babylonian captivity. This is also why the religious sects became corrupted by the time of Christ. The Edomite/Canaanite people grew among the wheat (Israelites). Matt 13:30
2Kings 17:24 And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim (a branch of Jew), and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.
The Samaritans and the Judaeans had a history of war with each other.
Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give Me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of Him, and He would have given thee living water.
Isaiah 12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour My spirit upon thy seed, and My blessing upon thine offspring:
The woman saith unto Him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
This woman living in Samaria, which at that time was a land of many nations of peoples, makes a statement of kinship to Jacob. She is an Israelite. Christ does not deny this.
Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
The water in the well.
But whosoever (he who should) drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
'whosoever' is referring to those of a group, the group being the children of Israel. The promises and inheritance was given to Abraham and his seed. This was a covenant that did not include those outside the race of Adam.
The woman saith unto Him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
Some say that this can also be referring to the waves of the 5 kingdoms that punished the bride (Israel) in that land. Assyrians, Babylonians, Medo-Persians and Macedonians and Romans.
The woman saith unto Him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe Me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
22 You worship that which you do not know. We worship that which we know, because salvation is from among the Judaeans.
2Kings 17:29 Howbeit every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in their cities wherein they dwelt.
They worshiped dumb gods, myths.
Christ was a Judahite from the tribe of Judah. The remnant that returned was responsible for preserving the law and bringing in the Messiah.
Isaiah 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.
The Israelites of Judaea. The House of Judah received the gospel first (Acts 13:46).
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.
Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision (Judaeans), who in spirit are serving Yahweh, and boast in Christ Jesus, and not trusting in flesh.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
The woman saith unto Him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when He is come, He will tell us all things.
This woman, being an Israelite, would be familiar with her heritage and prophecy. The Israelites were expecting Christ.
Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am He.
And upon this came His disciples, and marvelled that He talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?
The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,
Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
Then they went out of the city, and came unto Him.
In the mean while His disciples prayed Him, saying, Master, eat.
But He said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.
Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought Him ought to eat?
Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of Him that sent Me, and to finish His work.
Job 23:12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than My necessary food.
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.
And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on Him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
So when the Samaritans were come unto Him, they besought Him that He would tarry with them: and He abode there two days.
And many more believed because of His own word;
And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard Him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. John 4:5-42
The true Israelites living in Samaria had ears to hear.
Arrival of Yahshua in Galilee
Now after two days He departed thence, and went into Galilee.
For Jesus Himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in His own country.
Then when He was come into Galilee, the Galilaeans received Him, having seen all the things that He did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast. John 4:43-45
Teachings in Galilee
Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Daniel 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
This is Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy fulfilled. Artaxerxes of Persia gave the decree to rebuild Jerusalem in 457 BC. Seventy weeks = 490 days = crucifixion. Repent, the Kingdom (Christ) is at hand.
And He taught in their synagogues (assembly halls), being glorified of all. And there went out a fame of Him through all the region round about.
Luke 4:14-15 Mat 4:17 Mar 1:14-15
There were no “churches” yet. The synagogues were assembly halls. Sometimes the congregation would meet in a courtyard, a theater, by a riverbed, and in peoples homes.
The KJV translators were ordered to change the Greek word 'ecclessia' to the english word “church”.
They have two totally different meanings.
The “church” is a building, an order, a clerical hierarchy. A building containing a mixture of peoples.
The 'ecclessia' is a 'calling out', a meeting of those 'called'. That, according to scripture, can only be those of the seed of Jacob. The children of Israel. We, who are the anglo-saxon descendants of the 12 tribes. Note: anglo-saxon= we are Isaac's sons= I SAXON.
Each one of us are ''called', but few are 'chosen'. Each one of us is a piece, a stone, that is laid upon the foundation, that is Christ, that makes up the ecclessia. The body, the meeting, the mind, the family of Yahweh.
The healing at Cana of the son of a courtier of Capernaum- Second Miracle
So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where He made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum.
When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto Him, and besought Him that He would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death.
Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.
The nobleman saith unto Him, Sir, come down ere my child die.
Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.
And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.
Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour (1pm) the fever left him.
So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.
It's not about “just believing”. The definition includes commitment. That would be 'practicing' by obeying His commandments and following His example. Allegiance (faith).
This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when He was come out of Judaea into Galilee.
The first rejection at Nazareth
And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up: and, as His custom was, He went into the synagogue (assembly hall) on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
And there was delivered unto Him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written,
The Spirit of Yahweh is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor (in Spirit); He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
19 To proclaim a year acceptable by Yahweh!
Here we have a bold proclamation by Christ, that He is indeed the Messiah, since the prophecy of Isaiah which He quotes here concerns the promises of deliverance which Yahweh God made to Israel, that He would be their Saviour and deliver them from the captivity which they had suffered.
1 The Spirit of Yahweh GOD is upon me; because Yahweh hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim a year acceptable by Yahweh, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
And He closed the book, and He gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on Him.
And He began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
And all bare Him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?
Psalm 45:2 Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace (favor) is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
And He said unto them, Ye will surely say unto Me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.
And He said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.
But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land; (1 Ki 17:9, 18:1, James 5:17)
But unto none of them was Elijah sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.
And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.
The events concerning the widow of Zarephath, or here from the Greek, Sarepta, are recorded in 1 Kings chapter 17 and 2 Kings 5:14.
And all they in the synagogue (assembly hall), when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,
In the judgment of the people of Judaea they were perceived as ineligible, and therefore the people hated Christ for the illustration which He made. The people of Judaea had become religious exclusivists – they rejected all those who did not practice Judaism no matter their race, yet they accepted aliens who adopted Judaism, no matter what the Word of God had said about them previously.
And rose up, and thrust Him (Christ) out of the city, and led Him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast Him down headlong.
But he passing through the midst of them went his way,
And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.
The new home in Capernaum
And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,
The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles (nations);
The prophecy concerning “Galilee of the Gentiles” actually refers to the “region of the Nations” of the long-dispersed Israelites, for they are the people sitting in darkness.
Isaiah 42:7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. Matthew 4:13-16
Yahshua chooses four fishers of men
And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon Him to hear the word of God, He stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
Now as He walked by the sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
And He entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And He sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
Now when He had left speaking, He said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
And Simon answering said unto Him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Prince.
For He was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:
And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
And going on from thence, He saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and He called them.
And He saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.
And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed Him.
Luke 5:1-11 Matthew 4:18-22 Mark 1:16-20
The phrase “fishers of men” is a reference to the prophecy of Jeremiah 16:16: “Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith Yahweh, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.” Now the fishing period is long over, everyone has at least heard of Christ, now it is time to hunt. We hunt for the descendants of those lost tribes of Israel, who are the sole beneficiaries of the covenants! America was founded by them. Get it? Come out of that stinky 'pew' in the “churches” and learn the scriptures.
Excitement in synagogue of Yahshua's teaching and healing on the Sabbath
And they went into Capernaum, a city of Galilee; and straightway on the sabbath day He entered into the synagogue (assembly hall), and taught.
And they were astonished at His doctrine: for He taught them as one that had power , and not as the scribes, for His word was with power (authority).
The scribes, whose teachings were worldly and legalistic and who had long lost sight of the truth, were unsure of many of the meanings of the Scriptures, and they were constantly waffling and debating one another. Their spirits were not inspired by God.
And in the synagogue (assembly hall) there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,
Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.
The demons knew well who Christ was. If only that would be so of His own kin.
And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and thrown him in the midst, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him, and hurt him not.
And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What
thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority and power commandeth He
even the unclean spirits, and they do obey Him.
It was new doctrine to them because they departed from their heritage, being indoctrinated with the Judaism of the Pharisees. Just like today's “churches”. WAKE UP !!!
And immediately His fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.
Luke 4:31-37 Mark 1:21-28
Yahshua heals Peter's mother-in-law and many others
And He arose out of the synagogue (assembly hall), and entered into Simon's house, with Andrew, James and John. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought Him for her.
And He came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up, and rebuked the fever; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.
Simon here is Simon Peter. The statement of Christ to the apostles that he would make them “fishers of men” and the Sermon on the Mount both occurred before Christ healed the mother of Peter. Here it is evident that Peter has a wife. Paul also alludes to Peter's having been married.
When the even was come, when the sun did set, and all the city was gathered together at the door. They brought unto Him many that were diseased and possessed with devils: and devils and spirits also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And He rebuking them suffered (allowed) them not to speak: for they knew that He was Christ. and He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick:
'...yet He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him to be the Christ.'
More demons knew Christ than people!
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. Matthew 8:14-17 Mark 1:29-34 Luke 4:38-41
Isaiah 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
1Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
First tour of Galilee with the four fishermen
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues (assembly halls), and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
Not the “church” doctrine of “personal salvation”, which is not scriptural.
And His fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto Him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and He healed them.
And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.
And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, He went out, and departed into a
solitary place, and there prayed.
And Simon and they that were with Him followed after Him.
And when they had found Him, they said unto Him, All men seek for thee.
'men' is in italics, meaning it was added by the KJV translators.
The original Greek ends verse 37 as '”They all seek You!”
In those days the society consisted of Greeks, Romans, and other anglo-saxon nations, all of which were descendants of Adam on through the children of Jacob. The Asians, Blacks, and other races were not part of society then. They really weren't up until recently when we let them into ours.
Practically all the children of Israel forgot and/or lost their heritage at this point, except a remnant of the House of Judah, which are the Judaeans in Jerusalem, and wrongly and intentionally translated from Judaean into Jew in the KJV.
Among the Judaeans (true Israelites) were the enemies of our God. These would be the Canaanite and Edomite children of Cain and Esau. The enmity of Genesis 3:15. The ruling religious authority of the time was infiltrated by these vipers and control the people by their 'doctrines of men'. Which is Judaism.
And when it was day, He departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought Him, and came unto Him, and stayed Him, that He should not depart from them.
And He said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.
And He preached in their synagogues (assembly halls) throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.
Matthew 4:23-25 Mark 1:35-39 Luke 4:42-44
A leper healed and much popular excitement
And, behold, there came a leper who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and beseeching Him, and kneeling down to Him, saying, Prince, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth His hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy departed from him.
And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest,
and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
Christ did not want to be made into a spectacle.
3 And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;
4 Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:
10 And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.
And He straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away;
But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that
Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they
came to Him from every quarter to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.
And He withdrewHimself into the wilderness, and prayed.
Matthew 8:2-4 Mark 1:40-45 Luke 5:12-16
Most modern Christians insist on frequent displays of public prayer as some sort of seal of one's righteousness. It cannot be said that all displays of public prayer are pretentious, however very often they are used as crutches by those who are in reality often weak in their faith, or have poor perceptions of their brethren. While fellowship should not be despised, the models for prayer found in Scripture are most often that prayer is conducted as a private matter.
Thronged in Capernaum, heals paralytic lowered through roof of Peter's house
And He entered into a ship, and passed over, and again He entered into Capernaum after some days, and came into His own city, and it was noised that He was in the house.
And it came to pass on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and
doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea,
and Jerusalem: and the power of the Prince was present to heal them.
And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and He preached (spoke) the word unto them.
And, behold, they brought to Him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before Him.
And when they could not come nigh unto Him for the press (crowd) of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, uncovered the roof where He was: and when they had broken it up, they let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
And Jesus seeing their faith (conviction) said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
But there were certain of the scribes and Pharisees sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? (Psa 32:5)
And immediately when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they so reasoned within themselves,
He said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
The Edomite Jew should have seen the truth of the power of God and praised it. Rather, when they saw Yahshua heal the paralytic, their hearts were even more hardened because then their own authority was challenged.
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith He
to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, take up thy bed, and go thy way unto thine
And he arose, and departed to his house.
And immediately he arose, took up the bed whereon he lay, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and were filled with fear, and they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.
Matthew 9:1-8 Mark 2:1-12 Luke 5:17-25
The call of Matthew (Levi) and his reception in honor of Yahshua
And He went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto Him, and He taught them.
And as Jesus passed forth from thence, He saw a man, named Matthew (Levi the son of Alphaeus, a publican), sitting at the receipt of custom: and He saith unto him, Follow Me. And he arose, left all, and followed Him.
And Levi made Him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.
And when the scribes and Pharisees saw it, they murmured against His disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
But when Jesus heard that, He said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick:
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Matthew 9:9-13 Mark 2:13-17 Luke 5:27-32
1Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world (society) to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
Three parables defending Yahshua's disciples for feasting instead of fasting
Then came to Him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn (fast, hunger), as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast in those days.
Calling the apostles sons of the bridechamber is a clear reference to those Old Testament prophecies where Yahweh promises to betroth the children of Israel once again, after having put them off in divorce in the Assyrian and Babylonian captivities.
And He spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.
We cannot graft our Christian understanding onto any other denomination.
And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.
Matthew 9:14-17 Mark 2:18-22 Luke 5:33-39
Christ pointed out the resistance of people to change from their familiar or comfortable doctrines. He did so by illustrating the love of people for the old wine – representing the doctrines which they are accustomed to, over an acceptance of the new wine which is the revelation of truth in Him. He said at Luke 5:39 “And no one drinking the old desires the new, for ‘the old’, one says, ‘is good’. We must renew our minds (bottles) and accept Truth.
In Jerusalem Yahshua heals a lame man on Sabbath, defends this action to Pharisees
After this there was a feast of the Judaeans; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
This is the 2nd of 4 Passovers of Christ's ministry.
Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
Bethesda means, 'house of mercy'.
The oldest manuscripts have 'Bethzatha', which means 'house of olives'. Both are adequate.
In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, He saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
The impotent man answered Him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
The Judaeans therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
These Judaeans would be the Edomite Pharisee agitators. And their laws.
He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?
And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed (withdrew) Himself away, a multitude being in that place.
Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
“Once saved, always saved”?
The man departed, and told the Judaeans that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.
And therefore did the Judaeans (Pharisees) persecute Jesus, and sought to slay Him, because He had done these things on the sabbath day.
The religious rulers were not Israelites at this time, save a few. The Edomite Pharisees and Sadducees have gained authority and controlled the people with their doctrine and commandments.
Scripture does not say that good deeds cannot be performed on the Sabbath. The Pharisee Jews did.
Notice it was not the Romans that persecuted Christ, but the Jews.
But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill Him, because He not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.
Notice that the Israelite Judaeans knew Him and followed Him. The Canaanite and Edomite Judaeans denied Him and sought to KILL HIM!
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do: for what things soever He doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth Him all things that Himself doeth: and He will shew Him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom He will.
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent Him.
1John 2:23 Each denying the Son has not the Father either; he being in agreement with the Son also has the Father.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
Ephesians 5:14 Wherefore He saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
For as the Father hath life in Himself; so hath He given to the Son to have life in Himself;
And hath given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of man.
Acts 10:42 And He commanded us to proclaim unto the people, and to testify that it is He which was appointed Judge of living and dead by Yahweh.
Acts 17:31 For that He has established a day in which He is going to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness, by a man whom He has appointed, having provided an assurance to all: raising Him from the dead.
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice,
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Isaiah 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with My dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
1Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
I can of Mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and My judgment is just; because I seek not Mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent Me.
If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true.
There is another (John) that beareth witness of Me; and I know that the witness which He witnesseth of Me is true.
Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth.
But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved (preserved).
He (John) was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.
2Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given Me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of Me, that the Father hath sent Me.
1John 5:9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which He hath testified of His Son.
And the Father Himself, which hath sent Me, hath borne witness of Me. Ye have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His shape.
And ye have not His word abiding in you: for whom He hath sent, Him ye believe not.
Christ is still speaking to the Edomite Pharisees.
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they (these, the scriptures) are they which testify of Me.
And ye will not come to Me, that ye might have life.
I receive not honour from men.
41 I would not receive an opinion from men.
But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.
I am come in My Father's name, and ye receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?
44 How are you able to believe an opinion being received from each other, and the opinion from the One and Only you do not seek?
The Edomite Jews followed the letter of the law and had a form of godliness. They sought the praise of men.
Romans 2:29 But he is a Judaean, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Look how the Jews give awards to each other for praise. Emmy's, Globes, Nobel Peace Prize, Pulitzer.
Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust (in whom you have hope).
For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed Me: for he wrote of Me.
But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe My words? John 5:1-47
John chapter 8 reinforces that the Edomite Jews do not have the truth in them. They do not have the Spirit (DNA). They are of their father the Devil. Christ will set the record straight, just keep reading.
Another Sabbath controversy with Pharisees
And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that He went through the corn fields; and His disciples were hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.
But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto Him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
Deuteronomy 23:25 When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbour's standing corn.
And He said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
1Samuel 21:6 So the priest gave him hallowed bread: for there was no bread there but the shewbread, that was taken from before Yahweh, to put hot bread in the day when it was taken away.
But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
Speaking of Himself.
But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have (desire) mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
Hosea 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
Mercy versus the letter of the law. David and his men were hungry.
If you got pulled over for speeding trying to get your pregnant wife to the hospital, is it not mercy if the cop let's you go?
And He said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
Therefore the Son of man is Prince also of the sabbath.
Matthew 12:1-8 Mark 2:23-28 Luke 6:1-5
Just as David was, Christ was also a priest and a king.
Third Sabbath controversy with Pharisees over healing of a man with a withered hand
And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that He entered into the synagogue (assembly hall) and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
And the scribes and Pharisees watched Him, whether He would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse Him.
But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.
Then said Jesus unto them (Pharisees), I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it? But they held their peace.
And when He had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, He saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
There are situations that require mercy over the law.
And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.
And He said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?
4 If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.
5 If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him. (Deut 22:4)
How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him. Matthew 12:9-14 Mark 3:1-6 Luke 6:6-11
The Pharisees as well as the Herodians were Edomites, Jews, enemies of Christ.
Here Christ directly challenged the primary basis for the Pharisees' control over the lives of the people of Judaea: which was a regulatory control very much like the control that bureaucrats have over us in our own nations today. It is obvious that they hated Him for it.
Yahshua teaches and heals great multitudes by the Sea of Galilee
But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew Himself from thence with His disciples to the sea: and great multitudes followed Him from Galilee and from Judaea, and He healed them all;
And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things He did, came unto Him.
And He spake to His disciples, that a small ship should wait on Him because of the multitude, lest they should throng Him.
For He had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon Him for to touch Him, as many as had plagues.
And unclean spirits, when they saw Him, fell down before Him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
And He straitly charged them (the unclean spirits) that they should not make Him known.
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,
Behold My servant, whom I have chosen; My beloved, in whom My soul is well pleased: I will
put My spirit upon Him, and He shall shew judgment to the Gentiles (Nations of Israel).
He shall not strive (quarrel), nor cry; neither shall any man hear His voice in the streets.
A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall He not quench, till He send forth judgment unto victory.
And in His name shall the Gentiles (Nations) trust. Matthew 12:15-21 Mark 3:7-12
21 “And in His Name shall the Nations have hope.”
Christ did not want attention, yet He also wanted the people to have the opportunity to understand that He was indeed the Messiah promised by God.
After a night of prayer, Yahshua selects 12 apostles
And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.
13 And He ascends into the mountain and summons those whom He Himself had desired, and they came out to Him.
And He ordained twelve whom also He named apostles;, that they should be with Him, and that He might send them forth to preach,
And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:
And Simon He surnamed Peter;
And James the son of Zebedee, and John(Judas) the brother of James; and He surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:
And Andrew (Simon's brother), and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon (called Zelotes) the Canaanite (Cananean),
And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed Him: and they went into an house.
The 5th century Codex Alexandrinus has Simon as a Canaanite. However the Codices Sinaiticus and Vaticanus from the 4th century, and the Bezae, Washingtonensis and Ephraemi Syri, all from the 5th century, all have Cananean, which would indicate that this Simon was from Cana in Galilee. Cana was the town where Yahshua attended the wedding feast described in John chapter 2.
And it came to pass in those days, that He went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
Mark 3:13-19 Luke 6:12-16
The Sermon on the Mount-
Privileges and requirements of Messianic reign-
Standard of righteousness
And He came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of His disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear Him, and to be healed of their diseases;
And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.
And the whole multitude sought to touch Him: for there went virtue (power) out of Him, and healed them all.
And seeing the multitudes, He went up into a mountain: and when He was set, His disciples came unto Him:
And He opened His mouth, and taught them, saying,
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
The 'poor in spirit', are a reference to dispersed Israel. The lost sheep of Israel.
Since the northern 10 tribes of Israel did not return to Judaea after the Assyrian and Babylonian captivities, they forgot who they were. Besides a remnant, most of the southern tribes of Judah did not return as well, and forgot their identity.
Poor in spirit means weak in knowledge and understanding. Lacking.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of Yahweh, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty (glory) for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yahweh, that He might be glorified.
This verse is defining the family of Yahweh, the race of Adam. The garment is our skin, trees of righteousness are family trees, descendants of the 12 tribes. Yahweh planted our race, through Adam, into this world to practice Christ's example, so He might be honored.
Blessed are the meek (humble): for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. (Is 49:10)
Isaiah 55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters (the living water, Christ), and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
Isaiah 65:13 Therefore thus saith Yahweh GOD, Behold, My servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, My servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, My servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
Being a servant requires more than “just believing”.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Proverbs 10:10, from the Septuagint: “He that winks with his eyes deceitfully, procures griefs for men; but he that reproves boldly is a peacemaker.” That reproof must be according to the Word of God!
Surely God does not want us to make peace with His enemies. Deuteronomy 23:6 says “Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.”
Ezra 9:12 says “Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever.”
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
2Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake.
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
1Peter 2:19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
'conscience' comes from the Greek word 'suneido' which means to understand or become aware, in other words being consciously practicing and seeking God.
Acts 5:41 And they (peter and apostles) departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith (allegiance) worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.
Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.
Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Ye are the light of the world (society). A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Proverbs 4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
You can't glorify Yahweh by “just believing”.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
The “churches” teach that the law was “done away with”. The only thing that was “done away with” were the Levitical rituals. Christ completed them.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca (you fool), shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Murder will receive judgment. Anger without a cause toward your brethren is worse.
Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
Proverbs 25:8 Go not forth hastily to strive (debate), lest thou know not what to do in the end thereof, when thy neighbour hath put thee to shame.
Don't be quick to judge.
Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a (married) woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Job 31:1 I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?
The lust or desire itself is a sin, the ACT of that lust or desire brings judgment, not the thought.
Thinking about murder is wrong, but you cannot be punished for it. Unless you act.
And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
We don't have to sever our bodies, but we can turn off the TV, we can disengage from things that are ungodly.
It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: (Deut 24:1, Jer 3:1)
But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto Yahweh thine oaths: (Ex 20:7, Lev 19:12)
But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
It is not Christian to swear or make oaths. We do not have any power to guarantee them.
Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
Proverbs 20:22 Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on Yahweh, and He shall avenge thee.
And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.
1Corinthians 6:7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
If you are found guilty at the law, go beyond repentance and give him more.
And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which Yahweh thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
8 But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
10 Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing Yahweh thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
Yahshua is talking about our personal Israelite enemies, this discourse being to and about the children of Israel. He is not talking about His enemies – the enemies of our God.
Deuteronomy 23:6 Thou shalt not seek their (enemies of God) peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.
Psalm 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
Psalm 92:9 For, lo, thine enemies, O Yahweh, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
11 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
Psalm 139:21 Do not I hate them, O Yahweh, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
The enemies of God, Christians must expect God to keep them from us so long as we are willing to be obedient to His will. Yet they are not the subject here. Our personal Israelite enemies, those of our own race who wrong us, those we must be merciful towards as our Father is merciful to us. And we should be kind towards all Israelites, towards all Adamic men, and not only those who are our near kin or whom we happen to be acquainted with.
Leviticus 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour (kinsmen) as thyself: I am Yahweh.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies (of kin), bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Speaking about our kinsmen.
Exodus 23:4 If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.
Proverbs 25:21 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
We are to hate the enemies of God. Cain and Esau's children.
David hated the enemies of God. Psm 139:19-24
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if ye love them which love you, what reward or thanks have ye? do not even the publicans the same? for sinners also love those that love them.
And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
But love ye your enemies (of kin), and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for He is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
The 'unthankful' is a reference to verse 27, your kinsmen enemies.
The 'evil' is a reference to verse 30, those that take.
Mercy applies to all His people, maybe your love towards your selfish kinsmen will show them your honor for Yahweh and He may be merciful and open their eyes.
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
Psalm 37:26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Take heed that ye do not your alms (deeds) before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Therefore when thou doest thine alms (deeds), do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Christ takes a stab at the Jews who display this hypocrisy at the 'wailing wall'.
But when thou doest alms (deeds), let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
That thine alms (deeds) may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret Himself shall reward thee openly.
Alms-giving in the ancient world was with all certainty seen as a way of asking forgiveness from God for one's sins. However the alms-giving had to be without fanfare. If alms-giving was accompanied with fanfare, it was for the benefit of the giver, and not truly for the recipient, and therefore God will not reward it.
Septuagint, Sirach 40:24 Brethren and help are against time of trouble: but alms shall deliver more than them both.
Septuagint, Tobit 4:5-11 5 My son, be mindful of Yahweh our God all thy days, and let not thy will be set to sin, or to transgress his commandments: do uprightly all thy life long, and follow not the ways of unrighteousness. 6 For if thou deal truly, thy doings shall prosperously succeed to thee, and to all them that live justly. 7 Give alms of thy substance; and when thou givest alms, let not thine eye be envious, neither turn thy face from any poor, and the face of God shall not be turned away from thee. 8 If thou hast abundance give alms accordingly: if thou have but a little, be not afraid to give according to that little: 9 For thou layest up a good treasure for thyself against the day of necessity. 10 Because that alms do deliver from death, and suffereth not to come into darkness. 11 For alms is a good gift unto all that give it in the sight of the most High.
Septuagint, Tobit 4:16-17: 16 Give of thy bread to the hungry, and of thy garments to them that are naked; and according to thine abundance give alms: and let not thine eye be envious, when thou givest alms. 17 Pour out thy bread on the burial of the just, but give nothing to the wicked.
Proverbs 21:13-14 “13 Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard. 14 A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.”
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues (assembly halls) and in the corners of the streets (Jews at the wailing wall), that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
In 1 Samuel chapter 1, we see that Anna's prayer was answered when her lips moved, but she spoke it not, having prayed in her heart. Likewise, the prophet Daniel prayed alone in his room, and it was not necessarily his intention that he be seen through his window by his enemies, as it is related in Daniel chapter 6. Daniel and Anna, while seen by others, were both praying privately. The apostles often prayed together, but they prayed privately, and not to make a show in front of others. Christians who insist on public prayer, or that others must pray with them, are simply looking for a crutch. They want others to see how “pious” they are, that they may justify themselves.
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
This is a direct rebuke of what we see in Roman Catholicism, where for so-called “penance” one is instructed to repeat the same prayer any number of times, or where beads bearing idols are used to do the same.
And fools speaking in “tongue”.
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him.
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Job 23:12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.
Proverbs 30:8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
Ruth 3:3 Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking.
That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
Again, we see that outward displays of piety are scorned.
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
Proverbs 23:4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.
Seek Yahweh's wisdom and treasure.
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
In the German language we have a word which admirably expresses this underlying spirit of all work: It is Pflichterfüllung, which means the service of the common wealth before the consideration of one's own interests. The fundamental spirit out of which this kind of activity springs is the contradistinction of 'Egotism' and we call it 'Idealism'. By this we mean to signify the willingness of the individual to make sacrifices for the community and his fellow-men ... To this kind of mentality the Aryan owes his position in the world. And the world is indebted to the Aryan mind for having developed the concept of 'mankind'; for it is out of this spirit alone that the creative force has come which in a unique way combined robust muscular power with a first-class intellect and thus created the monuments of human civilization. A.H, MK, Murphy, p 169
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better (valuable) than they?
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(For after all these things do the Gentiles (Nations) seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
So why do the “churches” teach a “gospel of personal salvation”?
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
In verses 25-34
This does not mean that we should walk around naked and hungry and thirsty. This boils down to whether or not we should put our trust in ourselves, how we can magnify ourselves or make ourselves appear before men, OR whether we want to put our faith (allegiance) in God .
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged
This is a condemnation of hypocritical judgment. Job 27: “1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said, 2 As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment [Job ruled over a magnificent household, and was an outstanding member of the community, but now he was humbled]; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul; 3 All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils; 4 My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit. 5 God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me. [Job was rejecting the unjust words of Bildad the Shuhite, found in chapter 25. If Job had agreed with these words, he would have been justifying Bildad. Many pastors foolishly take the words of Job's friends as Scripture, not realizing that in the dialogue they were all found wanting.] 6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live. 7 Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous. 8 For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul [meaning his life]? 9 Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?”
Our hope of personal gain may lead us to judge hypocritically. For instance, we are told to separate ourselves from other peoples. That is easy, when those other peoples are of low estate, and we are doing well. But what happens when an alien offers us a great business deal, or the Jew offers a low-interest loan, in our time of need and weakness? That is a form of hypocritical judgment.
Another form of hypocritical judgment is the condemnation of our brother or sister for wrongs that we ourselves may have once committed, or thought of committing. Or perhaps we would condemn our brother or sister today, but another day we may accept someone else who had done such a thing, because we like that person or that person is close to us. Because only Yahweh is perfect, only Yahweh can be our judge. Job chapter 34 discusses the righteous judgment of God, and verse 30 expresses the hope: “That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.”
In the old kingdom, the role of the king was as the ultimate judge of the people, and we see as much in the prayer of Solomon upon his becoming king, at 1 Kings 3:9 where he said: “Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?”
When our people rejected Yahweh as King, we invited hypocritical human judgment upon ourselves, and have been naturally punished by it ever since. One of the promises of Christianity is that Christ be our judge, and then we shall all be judged fairly, before God who knows all, and not before man whose judgment is clouded and partial and whose knowledge is incomplete.
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Proverbs 19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto Yahweh; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
Psalm 79:12 And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Yahweh.
And why beholdest thou the mote (stick) that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote (stick) that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote (stick) that is in thy brother's eye.
It is the Christian's duty to recognize and condemn sin, and to inform our brethren when they are seen in sin. Paul said in Galatians 6:1: “Brethren, even if a man should already be caught up in some transgression, you, those of the Spirit, restore such a man in a spirit of meekness, watching yourself lest also you may be tested.” When a sinner is unrepentant, we are to put him out of our community. As Paul advises in 1 Corinthians 5 to “deliver such a wretch to the Adversary, for destruction of the flesh, in order that the Spirit may be preserved in the day of the Prince.” Putting a man out of our community forces him over to the Adversary – to non-Christians and aliens – and God will use them to judge the sinner, as Paul says further on in that chapter “What is it to me to judge those outside? Not at all should you judge those within you [or among you]. 13 But those outside Yahweh judges; 'you will expel the wicked from amongst yourselves.'” We do not condemn our brethren, those Christians among us, but we separate ourselves from unrepentant sinners and pray that Yahweh judges them.
And He spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
Nowhere in the Scripture are we told to share the Truth with swine, dogs, or beasts – and those who do are doing us a great disservice. From the Wisdom of Sirach, 12:5: “Do well unto him that is lowly, but give not to the ungodly: hold back thy bread, and give it not unto him, lest he overmaster thee thereby: for else thou shalt receive twice as much evil for all the good thou shalt have done unto him.” Even if we pretend to teach aliens the truth, they will only use it against us.
Look what happened to white America, our country's forefathers would be rolling over in their graves.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?
In verses 7-11 Yahshua told us that He came only for the sheep. Therefore we should also go only to the sheep! We have no need to deal with swine and dogs, and since He would not give His pearls to them, they have nothing for us. When those among us who claim to be of us insist upon going to reveal the truth to aliens, they show their fruits, that they are not truly of us. Rather, they are infiltrators and usurpers seeking to scatter the sheep. Indeed, the dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow that is washed to wallowing in the mire.
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them likewise: for this is the law and the prophets.
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
13-14 Of course, most of us would rather believe the comfortable lie than the uncomfortable truth. We would rather walk the easy road than the hard path. We would rather listen to those who have appointed themselves over us than take up the responsibility into our own hands and study the Word of God for ourselves. This is why Luke in Acts 17:11 said of the men of Beroia, that “These were of more noble a race than those in Thessalonica, who accepted the Word with all eagerness, each day examining the writings, if these things would hold thusly.” Those seeking to enter in through the straight gate, seek to do so through the Word of Yahweh.
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Herod was called a fox by Christ. The Canaanite woman was called a dog. Psalm 22 prophesied that Christ was to be killed by the “power of the dog”, which referred to the Edomites in control in Jerusalem. By all of this, we know who the wolves are. Paul warned in Acts chapter 20, that after his departure “oppressive wolves shall come in ... not being sparing of the sheep”, and then he contrasted these to the false teachers who would arise among the people themselves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Not every one that saith unto Me, Prince, Prince, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.
Hosea 8:2 Israel shall cry unto Me, My God, we know thee.
Many will say to Me in that day, Prince, Prince, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And why call ye Me, Prince, Prince, and do not the things which I say?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.
Friends, this is speaking about today's “churches”. Our enemy has infiltrated Christianity just like the enemy infiltrated the ancient priesthood at Christ's time. They have distorted our faith into their faith, which is Judaism. The “churches” do not teach what is in scripture.
Therefore whosoever cometh to Me, and heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth (practices) them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Doeth- the Greek word is 'poieo'. It means to abide, commit, continue, exercise, practice.
Why would He choose a “believer” over a “doer”?
He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and the ruin of that house was great.
Sounds like the 3 little pigs, which should be sheep. The wolf destroys that which is built without a foundation in Christ.
And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at His doctrine:
For He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
When He was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him.
Matthew 5:1-48, 6:1-18,19-34, 7:1- 8:1 Luke 6:17-49
Yahshua heals a centurion's servant at Capernaum
Now when He had ended all His sayings in the audience of the people, He entered into Capernaum.
There came unto Him a centurion, beseeching Him,
And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die.
And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto Him the elders of the Judaeans, beseeching Him that He would come and heal his servant.
And when they came to Jesus, they besought Him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom He should do this:
For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue (assembly hall).
NOTE: This word 'nation' is the same word G1481 that is used for “Gentile”.
Let's read it again, according to the “church” and Jewish definition.
5 For he loveth our Gentile.... “Gentile” does not mean non-Jew. It means 'nation, race'.
And saying, Prince, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
Then Jesus went with them. And when He was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying unto Him, Prince, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
When Jesus heard it, He marvelled at him, and turned Him about, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith (conviction), no, not in Israel.
Christ seems to mean Israel in the geographic sense here, or possibly in a sense referring to those of Judaea who had kept the law and the prophets. While we know that many Greeks, Romans, Kelts, etc. were indeed descended from Israelites dispersed long beforetime, who had for the most part already forgotten their identity in their blindness, as Paul said in his epistle to the Ephesians, they were alienated from the civic life of Israel, and therefore being divorced from Yahweh they truly were not counted as Israel. As Hosea says, they were His people, but they were called “Not His people” until the time when they would accept Christ and be reconciled to God.
And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Isaiah 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Nations seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
It takes faith (allegiance) to enter the Kingdom of heaven. Those that lack allegiance will be left out.
The many from east and west is a reference to the Israelites that were scattered abroad.
And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.
Matthew 8:5-13 Luke 7:1-10
Yahshua raises a widow's son at Naim
And it came to pass the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and much people.
Now when He came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
And when the Prince saw her, He had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
And He came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And He said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.
And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited His people.
And this rumour of Him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about. Luke 7:11-17
Message from John the Baptist and eulogy of Yahshua
Now when in prison, John had heard the works of Christ,
John called unto him two of his disciples and sent them to Jesus, and when the men were come unto Him, they said, John the Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou He that should come? or look we for another?
And in that same hour He cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind He gave sight.
The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
Isaiah 29:18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in Me.
The apostles themselves expected the Messiah to deliver the Kingdom of Heaven on earth to the children of Israel immediately, for which see Acts 1:6 which states “When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Prince, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?” John, who had been in prison for some time already, had surely hoped for deliverance in this same manner, and therefore was certainly confused concerning the purpose of Christ.
Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
Isaiah 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in Me.
John the Baptist has not yet been imprisoned at this point in Luke's gospel.
And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in Me.
And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things.
And when the messengers of John were departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?
Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings' courts.
But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.
This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send My messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
Yahshua appeals to Malachi 3:1, and in that manner He again proclaims Himself to be that coming one – the Messiah. Here He also tells people who John is, and what the purpose of his ministry was.
Verily I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there hath not risen a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
This verse demonstrates that those of us appointed by Yahweh for a special purpose are not any better than any of our brethren who are given no such gifts or office. Therefore no matter our purpose in life, we must always be humble – or indeed we shall be humbled.
No matter how great a prophet John was, once the Kingdom of Yahweh is attained all those who do attain it shall have even greater capabilities than John had while he was on earth.
And all the people that heard Him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.
And the Prince said, Whereunto then shall I liken (compare) the men of this generation (race)? and to what are they like?
They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto to you, and ye have not wept or lamented.
For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
Here we are warned that “the kingdom of the heavens suffers violence, and the violent ones plunder it”. In Luke at chapter 16 a similar statement, made to a different audience, reads a little differently: “The law and the prophets were until John. From then the Kingdom of Yahweh is proclaimed and all force their way into it.” Look at America, founded under God by us, children of the tribes of Israel. We allowed our enemy to infiltrate our Christian way of life, and as a result, they opened the gates to aliens and they plunder it.
For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
And if ye will receive it, this is Elijah, which was for to come.
Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Yahweh:
He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of all her children.
Matthew 11:2-19 Luke 7:18-35
Wisdom is justified by her children: the Pharisees sought worldly wisdom, and because of that Wisdom herself was indicted, because God operates by His Word which defies worldly wisdom.
This saying demonstrates the general apathy of the people under any and all circumstances. And today we see that whether we pronounce the doom and gloom of inevitable judgment, or a coming prosperity at the return of Christ, it does not matter, the people do not want to hear the truth: they prefer the world and the status quo.
Woes upon the cities of opportunity
The claims of Christ as teacher about the Father
Then began He to upbraid (rail at, chide) the cities wherein most of His mighty works were done, because they repented not:
Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.
And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.
How many times will you be warned before you suffer the same fate as those cities which refuse the Word?
At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Sovereign of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.
All things are delivered unto Me of My Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
His “unschooled” followers – while they were kept hidden from the academics, the priests and the scribes and those in positions of worldly authority. So it is today, it is no different. An education in the world is a sure sign that one shall be prevented from finding the truth – because proper education has been appropriated for the purposes of indoctrination by the princes of this world. Those who have, understand, and accept the truth of the Bible only have it by the will of Yahweh who imparts understanding.
Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light. Matthew 11:20-30
Annointing of Christ's feet by a sinful woman in house of Simon a Pharisee-
Parable of Two debtors
And one of the Pharisees desired Him that He would eat with him. And He went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.
And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
And stood at His feet behind Him weeping, and began to wash His feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed His feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
Now when the Pharisee which had bidden (invited) Him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if He were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth Him: for she is a sinner.
And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell Me therefore, which of them will love him most?
Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And He said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
And He turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest Me no water for My feet: but she hath washed My feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
Thou gavest Me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss My feet.
My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed My feet with ointment.
Psalm 23:5 Thou preparest a table before Me in the presence of Mine enemies: thou anointest My head with oil; My cup runneth over.
Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
1Timothy 1:14 And the grace (favor) of our Prince was exceeding abundant with faith (allegiance) and love which is in Christ Jesus.
And He said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.
And they that sat at meat with Him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?
And He said to the woman, Thy faith (conviction) hath saved (preserved) thee; go in peace.
Second tour of Galilee
And it came to pass afterward, that He went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with Him,
And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,
And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto Him of their substance. Luke 8:1-3
Blasphemous accusation of league with Beelzebub
And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
And when His friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on Him: for they said, He is beside Himself.
Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
Then was brought unto Him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and He healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David? (Isa 9:6-7, 11:1-4)
But when the scribes and Pharisees which came down from Jerusalem heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself cannot not stand:
And He called them unto Him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?
And if Satan rise up against himself, And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
28 But if by the Spirit of Yahweh I cast out demons, then the Kingdom of Yahweh has overtaken you!
Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
Bind them and burn them, reapers of 'wheat (Jacob) and tares (Cain, Esau)'.
In this context, the strong man here represents the Jews and is a continuation of the previous verse.
THE BINDING OF THE STRONG MAN
Satan is the “strong man”. The best passage on this subject is found at Luke 11:21-23: “21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: 22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. 23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.”
While there were still a few pure-blooded Judahites and Benjaminites, and a smattering from the other tribes in Judaea at the time of Yahshua Christ, by-and-large the Edomite-Canaanite element had taken over the government and Temple offices, and had Rome inclining to their whims. On the other hand, Yahshua Christ is the “stronger than he” to “overcome him” (Satan). And because the Romans were Israelites of the house of Zarah-Judah, the twin brother of Christ’s own household of Pharez-Judah, the Romans became, in essence, Christ’s feet to tread on Satan as Paul had predicted at Romans 16:20. The Romans even allowed a short period for the Christians to leave Judaea before the treading took place, leaving only the satanic Canaanite-jews to receive the iron feet of Rome. So Rome represented Christ as the “stronger than he” to bind the strong man (Satan), which Josephus describes in such great detail! Rome was not out-of-place by playing this part, as a near relative is needed as a revenger of blood (Numbers 35:16-19). How many are there that know the founding families, including the Julian clan of the Caesars of Rome, descended from the Trojans, who in turn descend from Zarah-Judah?
This also applies to the 2nd Advent of Christ, when He will overcome and rid the evil once and for all.
He that is not with Me is against Me; and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth abroad.
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but
whosoever speaketh against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this
world (age), neither in the world (age) to come.
Blasphemy is promotion of race mixing. The Spirit is the DNA of Yahweh. Adamites have this Spirit. This pure Spirit must be holy, sacred, and set apart from those not having the Spirit. The family tree of Adam must remain pure.
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
Produce good fruit by making it with one's own race. Kind after kind.
O generation (offspring) of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Christ is calling His enemies “offspring of vipers”. The word is 'gennema' and according to Liddel & Scott it primarily means that which is produced or born, a child. This is only true of they who were of the seed of the serpent, and not of the seed of the woman, of Genesis 3:15.
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Matthew 12:22-37 Mark 3:20-30
Scribes and Pharisees demand a sign
Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
But He answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation (race) seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah:
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. (Jonah 1:17)
The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation (race), and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here.
The men of Nineveh, who were Adamites, Assyrians from of the sons of Asshur (Gen 10:11) will condemn the race spoken of in verse 39, the Edomite Pharisees.
The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation (race), and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
This reference is certainly to the Queen of Sheba, who visited Solomon in Jerusalem as related in 1 Kings chapter 10 and 2 Chronicles chapter 9.
The Queen of Sheba was also a white Adamic woman.
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation (race). Matthew 12:38-45
Job 1:7 And Yahweh said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered Yahweh, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
1Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
When bad fruit tries to do good, the end result is always worse. Bad trees cannot produce good fruit.
There is a lot of controversy concerning interpretations of this parable. On one hand it could represent those who received the Word and turned away, his situation would be worse. Regarding the enemy, those who deny Christ, even if there are times when they seem to do good, setting their house in order, yet they shall in the end do eight times more wickedly than at the first. If a bad tree cannot produce good fruit, then there is no such thing as a good Edomite – a good Jew is an oxymoron since there cannot be a good anti-Christ.
Yahshua's mother and brethren seek to take Him home
While He yet talked to the people, behold, His mother and His brethren stood without, desiring to speak with Him, and could not come at Him for the press.
Then one said unto Him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
But He answered and said unto him that told Him, Who is My mother? and who are My brethren?
And He stretched forth His hand toward His disciples, and said, Behold My mother and My brethren!
And He answered and said unto them, My mother and My brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it. Matthew 12:46-50 Mark 3:31-35 Luke 8:19-21
Christ didn't hold His close relatives higher than His distant kinsmen. But those of His kin that had allegiance (faith) with Him were considered brethren.
This passage refutes the idea of Romish Catholic Mary-worship.
It also demonstrates that we are not anymore important than any of our kinsmen. Christ is the only one that is greater.
First great group of Parables
The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.
And great multitudes were gathered together unto Him, so that He went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude which were come to Him out of every city stood on the shore.
When Christ spoke to mixed multitudes, He spoke in parables. He explains why when He is alone with His disciples.
And He spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air came and devoured them up:
And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no deepness of earth: But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away because because it lacked moisture.
Root in the Word comes only through study of the Word itself. If your knowledge is deep, you will not be easily shaken. If you merely “just believe” the message your knowledge is shallow.
And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
We either care for the Word, and pursue the things of Yahweh, or we care for the world and pursue worldly things. No man can serve two masters, God and mammon.
And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.
Colossians 1:6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world (society); and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace (favor) of God in truth:
'knew' is 'epiginosko' in Greek, meaning to understand, know, acknowledge, become aquainted with, as in 'practice'.
So we see that those who are fruitful in the Word are the minority of the seed – although the seed being sown here must all be good seed because Yahweh's law is “thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed”.
And when He had said these things, He cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Some people cannot hear because they are not His sheep (not Adamites). Some don't want to hear, some want to hear but their faith (allegiance) is too weak, and others hear loud and clear.
And when He was alone the disciples came, and said unto Him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them that are without (outside), it is not given. Unto them all these things are done in parables:
The 'them' are not His sheep. The message is intended for the lost sheep of the House of Israel.
After the divorce, the children of Israel were scattered across the Greco-Roman world and also migrating north and west into Europe. They lost and/or forgot their heritage.
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without (outside the covenant)? do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
Take heed therefore how ye hear:For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he seemeth to have.
Therefore speak I to them in parables: that seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
His message was exclusively for the children of Israel.
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
Isaiah 6:9 And He said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith (truth, moral conviction), not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace (favor) that should come unto you:
11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory (honor) that should follow.
Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
And He said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. The sower soweth the word.
Those by the way side are they that heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
Those who do not grasp the truth of the Word are most susceptible to false doctrines and calumnious lies.
And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and afterward, when temptation or persecution ariseth because of the word's sake, immediately they are offended (entrapped), and fall away.
Isaiah 58:2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.
31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.
32 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.
Root in the Word comes only through study of the Word itself, along with practice (doing).
And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they heareth the word, go forth, and are choked with the cares of this world (age), and the deceitfulness of riches, and pleasures of this life, and it becometh unfruitful.
Materialistic, prefers the cares of this age, or society.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
17 Charge them that are rich in this world (age), that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
And these are they which are sown on good ground; which with an honest and good heart heareth the word, and understandeth it, and receive it, keep it, and bringeth forth fruit with patience, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
Four types of people are illustrated in this parable, and we can readily see that the majority of our people today are of three of those types.
Those by the road: where he sows the Word and when they hear it, immediately the Adversary comes and takes the Word sown in them. The people by the road are in a place of traffic where there are many passers-by. There is the truth, and then there are many other ideas and philosophies, most of which are created by the Adversary, or Satan. You can hear the truth, and before it takes root – or develops - in you, one of these with their disputations and alternate theories comes along and convinces you out of it.
These are those sown upon the rocks: which when they should hear the Word, receive it immediately with joy, and they do not have root in themselves but are temporary, since upon the coming of tribulation or persecution on account of the Word immediately they are entrapped. You can hear the truth, and believe it and perhaps even be comfortable with it. But unless you study for yourself why it is the truth, you will not be well established in it, having no foundation of your own. So when you are questioned, and persecuted for what you profess to believe, you will break down and perhaps even begin to renounce it, because you cannot provide the solid answers which are necessary to convict your persecutors.
Those sown in the thorns: hearing the Word, the cares of this age and the deceit of riches and desires for the future entering in strangle the Word and it becomes fruitless. These people love the world more than they love God. They hear the Word, but they decline to live after the Word, because they would rather become wealthy in the world. Difficult it is, to become wealthy in today's world without first embracing the enemies of God. These are today's “churches”.
Those sown upon the good earth: who hear and take up the Word and bear fruit, one thirty fold and one sixty and one a hundred. These are the few, those who hear the truth and pursue it. They study it for themselves so that it develops within their minds, and they become firmly established in it. These people are unshakable, and can answer their accusers, and are also able to teach their brethren to do the same, thereby bearing fruit.
And He said unto them,No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a lampstand, that they which enter in may see the light.
For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither anything kept secret, that shall not be known and come abroad.
The lamp here, which is not hidden but placed upon a stand for everyone to see, is an allegory for the Word made flesh, the Light which is come into the world, as Yahshua Christ is described in John chapter 1.
If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
And He said unto them, Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
Luke 8:18 says “...even that which he supposes to have shall be taken from him.”
The admonition concerns hypocritical judgment.
With what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be
And He said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.
For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
Revelation 14:15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into My barn.
Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
Micah 4:1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of Yahweh shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. (Isa 2:2-3)
Mountains represent kingdoms.
We were a small nation, or race, to start. Noah-8 Jacob and his family in Egypt-72.
And He said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.
Another parable spake He unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
Here we can see a similarity of three ages.
Adam-Noah, Noah-1st Advent, 1st Advent- present age.
Evil infiltrated unnoticed, polluted and then destruction.
Adam to Noah: the flood, the evil people of that area drowned.
Noah to the 1st Advent: destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD and The Edomite Jews fled to Khazaria. Held in check for a 1000years while the Reformation spread.
1st Advent to the present age: after the message was spread, and America became the greatest nation in the world, again, the children of darkness infiltrated and corrupted our whole way of life. Read Obadiah for details of their final demise.
All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake He not unto them:
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
Psalm 78:2 I will open My mouth in a parable: I will utter dark (proverb, puzzle) sayings of old:
And with many such parables spake He the word unto them, as they were able to hear it.
He spoke “just as they were able to hear”, but most of the things He said were spoken already, in the Old Testament scriptures. If they 'practiced' The Way, they would know them.
His sheep hear His voice.
But without a parable spake He not unto them: and when they were alone, He expounded all things to His disciples.
Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and His disciples came unto Him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; (Yahshua)
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The Greek word for 'Word' is logos, which means intent, or The Plan. What was the plan? To exhibit righteousness. Christ did that. Perfectly. Adam was supposed to do that. The Word, or The Plan is that we imitate our Prince who fulfilled it.
The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
The children of the kingdom, the wheat that bows when ripe, are those of the race of Adam. Israelites. Descendants of the 12 tribes of Jacob Israel. The anglo-saxon nations of the world.
The children of the wicked one, the tares, which are a poisonous weeds and stand straight up in arrogance, are those of the race of the descendants of Cain and Esau. Canaanites/Edomites.
The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
The devil is the 'serpent' in the garden and father of Cain.
The harvest is the end of the age, the results of our disobedience and allowing the enemy in.
As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world (age).
Wait, didn't Jesus miss the part about the “rapture” first?
The Son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
So the “churches” teach that Jesus makes a “fly by” and takes them away in the “rapture”.
In verse 41, Christ Himself explains what happens. Read the verse above again. He is taking all things that offend out. If you are “raptured” then you are offensive to Him.
And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Another parable;Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. (Phil 3:7-8)
Another parable;Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
When a man realizes the truth of the Gospel, and the magnificence of his inheritance in it, he lays aside all of his worldly interests and he pursues the knowledge and understanding of the Gospel along with what things it requires of him.
5 Yahweh is exalted; for He dwelleth on high: He hath filled Zion (represents the children of Israel) with judgment and righteousness.
6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation (preservation): the fear of Yahweh is His treasure.
When we are unrighteous we lack fear, fear of His punishment.
Another parable;Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind (race):
The word is kind in the KJV, but since the Greek word is genos it is race here.
Genos means diversity, stock, offspring, nation, race.
Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
So shall it be at the end of the world (age): the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Prince.
Then said He unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, He departed thence.
Matthew 13:1-53 Mark 4:1-34 Luke 8:4-18
Crossing the lake, Yahshua stills the tempest
Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
And when they had sent away the multitude, He went into a ship with His disciples: and He said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.
And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, a great storm of wind on the lake, and the waves beat into the ship insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves, and were in jeopardy:
And He was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and His disciples came to Him, and awoke Him, saying, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?
Psalm 65:7 Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.
89:9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.
107:29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
The sea often is symbolic of people.
And He said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
Matthew 8:18, 23-27 Mark 4:35-41 Luke 8:22-25
Beyond the lake, Yahshua heals the Gerasene demoniac
And when He was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes which is over against Galilee, and when He was come out of the ship, immediately there met Him a man possessed with devils, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, who had his dwelling among the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. And no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped Him,
And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
For He said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
And He asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
And they besought Him that He would not command them to go out into the deep.
And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain : and they (the unclean spirits) besought Him that He would suffer them to enter
into them. And He suffered them.
Leviticus 11:7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
But the “churches” teach you to eat pork. That the law was “done away with”.
Yahweh changes NOT.
And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand) and were choked and perished in the waters.
And when they that fed the swine saw what was done, they fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.
And they went out to see what it was that was done.
And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him that was possessed with the devil, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind
Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought Him to depart out of their coasts from them; for they were taken with great fear: and He went up into the ship, and returned back again.
They kicked Christ out! They preferred the world – and their swine – to the Word of God. That is a very good portrait of most of our own race today. Most so-called Christians would never trade in their swine for any amount of the Truth.
And when He was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed Him that he might be with Him.
Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Prince hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.
Matthew 8:28-34 Mark 5:1-20 Luke 8:26-39
The return, healing of Jarius' daughter, woman who touched Christ's garment
And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto Him: and He was nigh unto the sea. The people gladly received Him: for they were all waiting for Him.
While He spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler of the synagogue (assembly hall), Jarius by name; and when he saw Him, he fell at His feet, and worshipped Him, saying, My daughter, about twelve years of age, lieth at the point of death, and even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did His disciples. And much people followed Him, and thronged Him.
And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, came behind Him, and touched the hem of His garment:
Leviticus 15:25 And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.
For she said within herself, If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole.
And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that virtue had gone out of Him, turned Him about in the press, and said, Who touched My clothes?
And His disciples said unto Him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched Me?
And He looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before Him, she declared unto Him the truth before all the people for what cause she had touched Him, and how she was healed immediately.
And He said unto her, Daughter, thy faith (conviction) hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
While He yet spake, there came one from Jarius' house which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
And when He came into the house, He suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
And He cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue (assembly hall), and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
And when He was come in, He saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
And all wept, and bewailed her: but He said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
And they laughed Him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. But when He had put them all out, He taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with Him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
And He took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. And her spirit came again.
And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And He commanded to give her meat.
And her parents were astonished: but He charged them that they should tell no man what was done.
And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.
Matthew 9:18-26 Mark 5:21-43 Luke 8:40-56
Yahshua heals two blind men and a dumb demoniac- A blasphemous accusation
And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed Him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.
And when He was come into the house, the blind men came to Him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Prince.
Then touched He their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
He did not want it to be broadcast. He didn't come to put on a show, as that is scorned in scripture, He came to fulfill the law and the prophecies and to show us the example that is expected of us.
But they, when they were departed, spread abroad His fame in all that country.
As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a dumb man possessed with a devil.
And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.
The last visit to Nazareth
And when He was come into His own country, And when the sabbath day was come, He taught them in their synagogue (assembly hall), insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and such mighty works are wrought by His hands?
Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Judas, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? Whence then hath this man all these things (wisdom and abilities)? And they were offended at him.
But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
And He could there do no mighty work, save that He laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
And He marvelled because of their unbelief. And He went round about the villages, teaching.
Matthew 13:54-58 Mark 6:1-6
Third tour of Galilee after instructing and sending the Twelve forth by twos
And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues (assembly halls), and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
Not the “church” doctrine of the gospel of “personal salvation”.
But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
Then saith He unto His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
Pray ye therefore the master of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
In other words, Christ needed His apostles to share in the labor of spreading the Word of God, and He was about to send them out to do so
And when He had called unto Him His twelve disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
And He sent them forth by two and two, to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; (Jude)(James and Jude were Christ's ½ brothers)
Simon the Canaanite (Cananaean), and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.
Luke calls Simon “the zealot”, which many errant commentators take that as a meaning of the word “Canaanite”, however this is highly unlikely. The Hebrew word, according to Strong, comes from a verb meaning to humiliate. It is much more plausible that Simon was from the city Cana, where Yahshua attended the wedding described in the opening chapters of John's gospel, and was therefore a Cananaean, and that “zealot” was just a nickname.
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles (heathen nations), and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
“Freely you have received, freely you must give.” When the prophet Elisha healed Naaman the King of Syria of his leprosy by telling him to wash himself in the Jordan seven times, Naaman returned and tried to give him a gift. The prophet responded “As Yahweh liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none.” All Elisha did was pass the instructions which God gave him on to Naaman. Elisha received them freely, and therefore could not take anything for them in return.
Yet “the workman is worthy of his provisions,” just as the Levites (for example at Numbers 18:31) ate from the sacrifices of the people, the apostles were told to anticipate their sustenance from the good people of the community.
These instructions were for the apostles during the ministry of Christ. They did not apply afterwards, of their later missions, where at Luke 22:35-36 it is recorded that “35 He said to them: 'When I sent you without purse and wallet and sandals, did you have want of anything?' And they said 'Nothing.' 36 Then He said to them: 'But now he having a purse must take it, and likewise a wallet, and he not having a sword must sell his garment and buy one.” This goes hand-in-hand with the foreknowledge that Christians would be persecuted, and would most often have to fend for and defend themselves. So we see that common sense must prevail in our quest for the kingdom.
And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:
But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.
He told His apostles not to take care for their own provisions.
They would be taken care of by those who they ministered unto, as well as Yahweh.
However, when Christ was preparing to ascend later on He said in Luke 22:36 “But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.” Persecution was becoming dangerous.
And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire (scrutinize) who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.
And when ye come into an house, salute it.
And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Sodom and Gomorrha is nothing compared to the house or city that does not receive the Word.
I can't find that S & G were ever given a chance to repent (unlike Nineveh, who did). It was just an evil city.
And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, that men should repent, and healing every where.
And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.
James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the assembly; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Prince:
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. (Eph 5:15)
The sheep are the children of Israel, the wolves are the children of Cain and Esau.
But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues (assembly halls);
And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles (Nations).
But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
Exodus 4:12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.
Jeremiah 1:7 But Yahweh said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the
children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
There are plenty of Israelites everywhere. Keep proclaiming.
If the Jews were Israel, it would be easy to have gone over all the cities of Israel. But since, true Israel is the anglo-saxon race, and we are scattered across the globe, it may take a while to go over all them.
The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
How can a Christian ever be afraid to speak the truth? If you are persecuted for speaking the truth, then be proud of it – your reward is great in heaven!
What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Brenton's Septuagint 4 Maccabees 13:12-17, which while we may or may not accept the book as canon, it nevertheless reflects the attitudes that Christ also professes here: “12 And another, Remember of what stock ye are; and by the hand of our father Isaac endured to be slain for the sake of piety. 13 And one and all, looking on each other serene and confident, said, Let us sacrifice with all our heart our souls to God who gave them, and employ our bodies for the keeping of the law. 14 Let us not fear him who thinketh he killeth; 15 for great is the trial of soul and danger of eternal torment laid up for those who transgress the commandment of God. 16 Let us arm ourselves, therefore, in the abnegation of the divine reasoning. 17 If we suffer thus, Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob will receive us, and all the fathers will commend us.” The book, 4 Maccabees, is a moral one, about the power of faith over fleshly desire, and the story here is about seven brethren and their father who chose death over violation of the law at the command of Antiochus, the Greek ruler of Syria.
Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven.
But whosoever shall deny Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father which is in heaven.
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Christianity is not about our own sick ideas of “peace”, sick because they usually include placating aliens and sinners. Both, we are demanded to exclude. As we have seen here while covering Matthew chapter 5, a true peace-maker is one who is willing to obey the laws of God, and reprove his fellows when they do not obey. Contrary to what the “churches” teach, Christ is not about peace, but rather about obedience to God, love for our own kind, and the consequences of violating those precepts. The 'sword' is His Word. His law. He showed us the example, now we must stand up.
And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
He that loveth father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after Me, is not worthy of Me.
He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for My sake shall find it.
He that receiveth you receiveth Me, and he that receiveth Me receiveth Him that sent Me.
He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
In 1 Kings chapter 17, the widow of Zarephath received and sustained the prophet Elijah, and she was rewarded with sustenance in return, for the grain and oil did not fail in a time of famine. Then her son fell ill, but she also received the life of her son, even though it was at first through trial. In 2 Kings chapter 4 the woman who made a place of rest for the prophet Elisha, not knowing for certain but only perceiving that he was a man of God, was also rewarded by conceiving a son although she had been barren. That child too, nearly died, and was delivered through his mother's abidance in the faith. Here we have those same promises if we continue to exhibit that same faith. Yet there is a common theme here, for we see that in each instance a single act of kindness was not sufficient: rather we must continue in faith (allegiance) without failure.
And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
At Mark 9:41 it is recorded that Christ said: “For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.” A cup of cold water was valued in the hot dry climate of Palestine, and was a sign in itself of the restoration of life, as Christ described Himself as living water to the Samaritan woman at the well in John chapter 4. We take care of the sheep, by bringing them the living message. And we are rewarded accordingly.
And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding His twelve disciples, He departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.
Matthew 9:35-11:1 Mark 6:6-13 Luke 9:1-6
Guilty fears of Herod Antipas about Yahshua because he beheaded John the Baptist
This is the first time we see the name Herod since chapter 2, but this is not the same Herod. There are ten different men named Herod, all of the same family of Edomites, identified in the index to Whiston's Works of Josephus. That first Herod, whom the Jews like to call “the great”, is better known as the usurping murderer of the Hasamoneans and the son of the Edomite Antipater. He died just a short time after the birth of Christ, about 1 or 2 BC. He was succeeded by his son, Herod Archelaus, who was so cruel that after only a few years the Romans took the kingdom from him and exiled him to Vienna in Gaul. From that point on Judaea was split into four pieces, and rulers called tetrarchs were set over them, a tetrarch being a ruler of a fourth. Rather, this is Herod Antipas, another son of the first Herod, and he and his brother Philip each received a tetrarchy from Rome. They were descendants of Esau Edom.
Now Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus, (for His name was spread abroad:) and all
that was done by Him: and he was perplexed, because that it was said of some, that John
was risen from the dead; For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and
bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her.
For John said unto him, it is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife.
Leviticus 18:16 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness.
Leviticus 20:21 And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.
Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not:
For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.
Others said, That it is Elijah. And others said, That it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.
And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.
But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.
And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;
And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.
And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.
And she, being before instructed of her mother, came in straightway with haste unto the king, said, Give me here John the Baptist's head in a charger.
And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.
And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,
And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.
And his disci
