Ephesians

EPHESIANS

To the Ephesians written from Rome, by Tychicus.  (Likely 59-60AD)

Written to the saints in Ephesus

Ephesus was like the NY of today, with well over 400,000 citizens.

Ephesus and surrounding areas had many waves of conquerors.

The Ephesians were mostly Dorian Greeks and Roman Israelites.

In addition were Phoenicians, Ionian Greeks and other branches of the dispersed Nations of Israel.

Also, of course, our enemy, Edomites and Canaanites. And they were the ruling class of the scribes, Pharisees, and Sadducees that perverted the laws of Moses into their own doctrine, the 'traditions of men' or Judaism.

Ephesus was a sea port of Asia Minor, facing towards Greece, and was the capital city of the Roman province in which it was situated. It was the center of worship of the goddess Diana, or Artemis. This gave rise to profitable trade I portable shrines and images which devotees bought to carry on journeys or to set up in their houses.

Paul visited Ephesus on his second missionary journey and taught ' by the scriptures that Yahshua was the Anointed.'

On his third missionary journey, Paul stayed there for three years and taught ' the things concerning the Kingdom of Yahweh.' His work proved a threat to the commercial interests of those profiting by the worship of Diana and a great riot broke out, which in the end forced Paul to leave the city. He had, however, founded an assembly there, and evidently it was well organized and established.

This letter which he sent to them subsequently, was written during his imprisonment at Rome, and was addressed to the 'Saints which are at Ephesus.' Who were those 'saints'? If we refer to Deuteronomy 33:3, we find that the 'saints' were the children of Israel. Therefore, the Epistle was addressed to a pocket of Israelites in dispersion.

The Israelites in dispersion would include any and all children of Jacob, from their beginnings in Egypt, to the Assyrian and Babylonian captivities that did not return to Judaea after their captivity and settled elsewhere. They lost and/or forgot their heritage and God. Paul was the apostle to these forgetful Israelite kinsmen. Bringing the gospel, the good message of their part in the promises made to Abraham's seed and preservation through allegiance (faith) in Yahshua Christ.

The Church (assembly) at Ephesus was the first of the seven churches for whom John was given messages at Patmos. The Ephesian assembly had a good record, but 'had left it's first love.' Meaning time passed, Christ didn’t return, things went from bad to worse and they lost their first enthusiasm.

Period begins with the resurrection of Yahshua in 30 AD to Johns time around 94-100 AD.

Time of early Christianity, the main opposition was from the Pharisees (mostly Edomites by then).

Represents the earliest assembly when it was free from serious persecution.

Praised for loyalty to Yahshua the Messiah’s teachings. False teachers were expelled.

The original Greek will be referred often to restore and make sense of the many mistranslations that have taken place over the years. Both out of innocent mistakes and intentional deception.

The letter to the Ephesians was written for a continuous reading without a break.

Salutation

Ephesians 1:1  Paul, an apostle of Jesus (Yahshua) Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful (believers) in Christ Jesus (Yahshua):   (Act 18:19-21, 19:1)

Paul is addressing 'saints'. What is a 'saint'? Those that are sacred, consecrated, holy, chosen,  set apart. Who are they that are set apart? Well the “churches” teach the 'saints' are the “believers”. Scripture teaches that the seed of Abraham, specifically Isaac, more specifically Jacob, and exclusively the children of Jacob who are called Israelites. And most importantly, we, who are the descendants of the dispersed Nations. As will be demonstrated here, and throughout the Bible, the context is the same. The Israelites of the OT are the same Israelites as the NT and the same as the anglo-saxon Nations of the world today. Us. The “church” does not take the place of the Israelites. And the Israelites are not Jews. Please continue.

 1:2  Grace (favor, Divine influence)  be to you, and peace, from Yahweh our Father, and from the Prince Yahshua Christ.

 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Prince Jesus (Yahshua) Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

The Greek: 3 Blessed be Yahweh, even the Father of our Prince, Yahshua Christ, who has blessed us among the Anointed (the group) with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places.

'Christ' does not always refer to the Prince. It quite often refers to the Anointed people, or group. Israelites.

 1:4  According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:   (2Th 2:13)

'holy', the same word as 'saint'. We are to be righteous, blameless, set apart from unrighteousness.

The word 'should', implies that since we are of the chosen seed of Abraham, and therefore have a 'called out' purpose, the test is that we 'should' act accordingly. “Just believing” does not make one holy.

 1:5  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus (Yahshua) Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

As explained in Romans and Galatians, the word 'adoption', used only 5 times, is an incorrect translation. The Greek word 'uiothesia' means 'placement of son' or 'position of son'. Adopting someone who is not an Israelite is NOT what this word means.

As children of Israel mature into learned and obedient servants of “faith”, which really means allegiance, to the Kingdom, we are placed into the position of sons/daughters. Only those of this family, seed, race, are eligible.

The “churches” teach that anybody can be “adopted” if they “believe”. If you have eyes to see, scripture will reveal otherwise.

John 1:11  He (Christ) came unto His own (Us), and His own (We) received Him not.

1:12  But as many (of Us)  as received Him, to them (Us) gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:

Verse 12 in the Greek: But as many who received Him, He gave to them the authority which the children of Yahweh are to attain, to those believing in His Name.

His name represents the seed of Abraham. Christ came only unto the lost sheep of the House of Israel. Jacob's 12 sons and their descendants. Abraham was not going to sacrifice Isaac for everybody in the world. He was offering him to Yahweh and because of it, Yahweh made promises and covenants with Abraham's seed, posterity, race. Christ died for this race. We are to be the light of the Adamic nations and set the example that Christ showed us.

 1:6  To the praise of the glory (honor) of His grace (favor, Divine influence), wherein He hath made us accepted (highly favored) in (among) the beloved.

 1:7  In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness (of the penalty) of sins (falling away), according to the riches of His grace (favor, Divine influence);   (Col 1:14)

 1:8  Wherein He hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence (understanding);

 1:9  Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in (within) Himself:

Romans 16:25  Now to Him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

2Timothy 1:9  Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace (favor), which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

 1:10  That in the dispensation (stewardship) of the fulness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him:

As the seed of Abraham, Christ was the only perfect man, He set the example. We are of this same seed ('called') and therefore stewards of His purpose. To strive to be like Christ.

If your stewardship is supporting the “churches” idea of a Jewish Jesus, you might not be gathered with the stewards that understand their true Prince.

Colossians 1:20  And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things (2 houses, Judah-circumcised and Israel-uncircumcised) unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

 1:11  In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will:

Only Abraham's seed was preordained for Yahweh's purpose.

 1:12  That we should be to the praise of His glory (honor), who first trusted in Christ.

Those who were aware and had a part in it, meaning walking with Christ. The apostles.

The Greek reveals more:

12 For which we are to be in praise of His honor, who before had expectation in the Christ,

 1:13  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed (understood), ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

John 1:17  For the law was given through Moses, but favor and truth came through Jesus Christ.

2Corinthians 1:22  Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Pentecost

 1:14  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption (releasing) of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.

In verse 13, 'trusted'- is in italic text, which means it was added

earnest- Down payment of the Spirit (2 Cor 5:5, Rom 8:23)

The purchased possession is the seed of Abraham. Not anybody and everybody.

The Greek:

12 For which we are to be in praise of His honor, who before had expectation in the Christ,

13  in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth – the good message of deliverance – in which also having believed, you have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise,

14  which is a deposit of our inheritance, in regard to redemption of the possession, in praise of His honor.

The “churches” say 'everyone' is redeemed. But the scriptures say only Israelites.

Isaiah 43:1  But now thus saith Yahweh that created you, O Jacobl, and He that formed you, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you art Mine.

Paul's Prayer

 1:15  Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith (belief) in the Prince Jesus (Yahshua), and love unto all the saints,

Only Israelites are saints, set apart, called out, chosen, holy.

 1:16  Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

 1:17  That the God of our Prince Jesus (Yahshua) Christ, the Father of glory (honor), may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him:

Greek reads: 'in His knowledge'

It's more than, “just believing” in or of Him.

 1:18  The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory (honor) of His inheritance in the saints (seed of the called, the set-apart ones),   (Luk 24:45)

 1:19  And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power,

 1:20  Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places,   (Psa 110:1)

Acts 2:24  Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that He should be holden of it.

 1:21  Far above all principality (realm), and power, and might (authority), and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world (age), but also in that which is to come:

Philippians 2:9  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name:

2:10  That at the name of Yahshua every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

 1:22  And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church (assembly, congregation, group of the Anointed),   (Psa 8:6)

 1:23  Which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.   (Col 1:18)

23  Which is His body,'the fulfillment of that which all things in all are being fulfilled.'

From Death to Life

Ephesians 2:1  And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;   (Eph 2:5; Mat 8:22; Rom 8:6; Col 2:13; 1Ti 5:6; 1Jn 3:14; Rev 3:1)

The Greek: 1  And you, being dead in transgressions and in your errors;

Italicized words are added by the translators. 'hath he quickened' is not in the older texts.

 2:2  Wherein in time past you walked according to the course (age) of this world (society), according to the prince of the power of the air (Satan), the spirit (Satan's) that now worketh in the children of disobedience (disbelief, unpersuadableness, stubborn, rebellious):   (Eph 5:6; Col 3:6)

Who are the children of disobedience? Who was given the law? Israelites. When you step outside the law, you are anti-Christ. Now Satan can enter.

Colossians 1:21  And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in thought by wicked works, yet now hath He reconciled

 2:3  Among whom also we all had our conversation (conducted ourselves) in times past in the lusts (desires) of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others (even like the others).

Others who? Other children. The children of darkness.  Descendants of Cain and Esau.

We are to be separate from this seed, race, posterity.

 2:4  But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us,

 2:5  Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace you are saved;)

5 and we being dead in transgressions, are made alive with the Anointed (the group), (in Divine influence are you being preserved),

 2:6  And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Yahshua):

 2:7  That in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace (favor, Divine influence) in His kindness toward us through (among the number of) Christ Yahshua.  (Tit 3:4)

'Might' means maybe. Maybe if you are among the number of those in allegiance to His faith, you will receive favor (grace).

 2:8  For by grace (favor, Divine influence) are you saved (preserved) through faith (The Belief); and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

There is nothing we do for this favor (grace). It is a free gift from Yahweh because of the promises made to Abraham and his seed, our kinsmen.

 2:9  Not of works, lest any man should boast.

If we gained grace (favor) because of works (rituals), then we could boast that we saved ourselves. Paul is not saying the law or good works are not needed, but simply that they put you into position to receive the favor (grace).

 2:10  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

10  for His work we are, having been established among the number of Christ Yahshua for good works, which Yahweh before prepared in order that we would walk in them.

 2:11  Wherefore remember, that you being in time past Gentiles (nations) in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;   (1Cor 12:2)

This verse is an idiomatic play on words. Circumcision of the heart is what matters. (Col 2:11) The distinctions of circumcision have become false under a multi racial ungodly government of Judaea. After 150 BC, when John Hyrcanus started circumcising Edomites, the distinctions weren't so obvious.

They were considered like the other nations by Yahweh when they acted like them.

The Edomites boasted against the Israelites that weren't circumcised, because the Edomites boasted about following the law. But it still didn't make them Israelites.

 2:12  That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens (alienated) from the commonwealth (civic life) of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world (society):

The KJV translators took a past tense verb, 'alienated' and changed it to a noun 'aliens'. This changes the whole message.

Colossians 1:21  And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He reconciled (and see Ez 13:9)

Our ancestors were alienated, put away in punishment, from the Anointed (the group) and were “lost”. Hence, dispersed Israel.

 2:13  But now in Christ Yahshua you who sometimes were far off are made nigh (near) by the blood of Christ.

Paul is the apostle to the dispersed Nations of Israel (not “gentiles”).  Christ's death covered the Judaeans, who were the circumcised, and returned to Jerusalem after the Babylonian captivity, and the dispersed Nations, who were the uncircumcised, and both forgot who each other was.

Galatians 3:28  There is neither Judaean nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Acts 2:39  For the promise is unto you (Israel), and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Prince our God shall call.

Israelite Judaeans and the dispersed Nations of Israel.

 2:14  For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

This is the two sticks prophecy. The middle wall is the hostility of the flesh. The 2 houses united. Judah (the circumcised) and Israel (the uncircumcised).

 2:15  Having abolished in His flesh the enmity , even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in Himself of twain one new man, so making peace;   (Col 2:14,20; Act 11:1-3)

15  having annulled the law of commandments in ordinances (the Torah of the commands in dogma), in order that He would establish the two (Houses) with Himself into one new man, making peace,

 2:16  And that He might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross (pale), having slain the enmity (hostility) thereby:

The 2 Houses of Judah and Israel forgot who they were and had hostility between themselves. Judaeans had the law and the dispersed did not. Judaeans viewed the dispersed Nations as 'common' or profane. Christ's death covered both houses, because they are kinsmen.

The “churches” try to teach that the “Gentiles” are non-Israelites. That the “Gentiles” can claim someone else's inheritance by “believing”.

Colossians 1:20  And, having made peace through the blood of His cross (stake), by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

1:21  And you (Houses of Israel and Judah), that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works (sacrificial rituals, one of Yahweh's ordinance, the other of pagan idolatry), yet now hath He reconciled

1:22  In the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight:

 2:17  And came and preached peace to you which were afar off (dispersed Israel), and to them that were nigh (near, Judaean Israel).

Isaiah 57:19  I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith Yahweh; and I will heal him.

Psalm 148:14  He also exalteth the horn of His people, the praise of all His saints of the children of Israel, a people near unto Him. Praise you Yahweh.

 2:18  For through Him we both have access by one Spirit (DNA) unto the Father.

John 10:9  I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be preserved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

 2:19  Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners (sojourners), but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;   (Rom 11:17-24; Isa 14:1)

Both houses are no more strangers to each other, both are Abraham's seed, both are saints (called). Nobody else is included in this inheritance, nor can be added.

Philippians 3:20  Of us the government in the heavens exists, from which also we are anxiously expecting a savior; Prince Yahshua Christ.

Galatians 6:10  As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of The Belief.

 2:20  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yahshua Christ Himself being the chief corner stone;

 2:21  In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Prince:  (1Cor 3:17)

 2:22  In whom you also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.  (1 Pet 2:5)

Christ came to die for us (Israelites, the bride) instead of slay His wife (us) for disobedience, so by His own law, he could have her (us) back. Kind after kind. Nobody else can be His wife. This gospel is exclusive to the seed of Abraham. Blacks, Asians, Mexicans, Jews, and any mixed bastards are not Abraham's seed. (Deut 23:2) Don't blame me, take it up with Yahweh.

Management of the family, of the Household of Yahweh

Ephesians 3:1  For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Yahshua Christ for you Gentiles (Nations of 'lost' Israelites),

Paul was in prison in Rome when he wrote this epistle.

He not only was appointed by Yahshua, but knew it was his service to teach the The Word. He couldn't do anything but teach it. Remember the parable of the pearl of great price?

 3:2  If you have heard of the dispensation of the grace (favor, Divine influence) of God which is given me to you-ward:

The Greek: 2  If indeed you have heard of the management of the family of the favor of Yahweh which has been given to me in regard to you,

Paul has been given the stewardship or administration (management) of the family of God. Who is the family of God? By now you should know that it is the seed of Abraham.

Acts 9:15  But the Prince said unto him, Go your way: for he is a chosen vessel by Me, to bear My name before both the Nations and kings of the children of Israel:

Both the Nations and kings of the same seed, Israel. The KJV version has Acts 9:15 mistranslated to separate the nations from the kings and from the children. 3 groups, when all three are of one group, the seed of Abraham.

 3:3  How that by revelation He made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

 3:4  Whereby, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) (Acts 22:17, Rom 16:25)

'Christ' here is referring to the Anointed people (seed, group).  Christ is not a mystery. The identity of the Anointed group is the mystery. They, and we, forgot who we are, and because of it the Jews teach that we are “Gentiles” (non Israelites).

Isaiah 66:19  And I will set a sign among them (the children of Israel), and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations (of Israel), to Tarshish (Spain), Pul, and Lud (Lydia), that draw the bow, to Tubal (Russia), and Javan (Ionian Greeks), to the isles afar off (UK), that have not heard My fame, neither have seen My glory; and they shall declare My glory among the Gentiles (dispersed nations of Israel).

All throughout the times, Noah's 3 sons, the captivities in Egypt, Assyria and Babylon, our people migrated and founded the nations of Europe and America. This was because of the divorce of Yahweh and Israel, so most of these nations, missing the Exodus and giving of the law, forgot who they were.

 3:5  Which in other ages (generations) was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Isaiah 29:10  For Yahweh hath poured out upon you (disobedient Israel) the spirit of deep sleep (falling away, amnesia), and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath He covered.

Now the apostles, prophets, and Spirit constantly remind us, but we don't listen.

 3:6  That the Gentiles (dispersed 'lost' Nations) should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ by the gospel:   (Rom 11:17-24; Col 1:26-27; Isa 14:1)

The dispersed Nations were the uncircumcision. They too are Israelites that are part of the same body, Abraham's seed, and with this knowledge and understanding 'should' be fellowheirs.

 3:7  Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace (favor, Divine influence) of God given unto me by the effectual working (operation) of His power.  (Rom 1:5, 15:16)

 3:8  Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace (favor, Divine influence) given, that I should preach among the Gentiles (dispersed Nations) the unsearchable riches of Christ (the Anointed, the group);  (1Cor 15:9, Col 1:27)

 3:9  And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:   (3Mac 2:3; Joh 1:3)

9  And to enlighten all concerning the management of the household of the mystery which was concealed from the ages by Yahweh, by whom all things are being established.

 3:10  To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

The “church” is not the dispenser of wisdom. An institutionalized clerical hierarchy is not the subject here. The original Greek clarifies, as usual.

10 In order that the exceedingly intricate wisdom of Yahweh would now become known to the realms and to the authorities in heavenly places through the assembly (people).

If the “churches” are doing a good thing, and there are more now than ever, why is the world in the worst shape ever? Because our “churches” are not Christianity, they are Judaism.

 3:11  According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Yahshua our Master:

 3:12  In whom we have boldness and access with confidence (reliance) by the faith of Him (through The Belief in Him).

 3:13  Wherefore I desire that you faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

13  On which account I beg for myself not to falter in my afflictions on behalf of you, which is your honor.

Paul is praying that he does not falter. How can you falter at another's afflictions?

Prayer for the Readers

 3:14  For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Master Yahshua Christ,

 3:15  Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

The “churches” would say this verse is talking about all races. But all races are not from one family, and definitely not from the loins of Abraham.

Isaiah 65:9  And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of My mountains (kingdoms): and Mine elect shall inherit it, and My servants shall dwell there.

Verse 15 in the Greek: 'Out of whom every Fatherhood (kindred) in heavens and on land is being named,'

 3:16  That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory (honor), to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;

Romans 7:22  For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

 3:17  That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith (through The Belief); that you, being rooted and grounded in love,   (Gal 2:20)

17  To administer the Anointed (group) through The Belief in your hearts, being planted and founded in love, that you

 3:18  May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;   (Sir 1:3)

John 14:23  Yahshua answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  (Col 1:23)

 3:19  And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fulness of God.

This may also be read as: 'To know besides the transcending (over-casting) of the knowledge, love of the Anointed (the group) that you may be being filled (completed) into every (the entire) filling (complement) of God.'

We must know the love of Christ, have love toward Christ, love our Anointed brethren, and know that the Anointed (Israelites) is loved. It works all ways. The body working in unison.

 3:20  Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power (ability) that worketh in us,

 3:21  Unto Him be glory (honor) in the church (assembly) by (and in) Christ Yahshua throughout all ages (generations), world without end. Amen.

Unity in the Body of Christ

Ephesians 4:1  I therefore, the prisoner of the Master, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation (calling) wherewith you are called,

Paul was in bonds in Rome.

Abraham's seed is the 'called out seed'.

 4:2  With all lowliness (humility) and meekness, with longsuffering (patience), forbearing one another in love;   (Col 3:12-13)

 4:3  Endeavouring (Being eager) to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Colossians 3:14  And above all these things love, which is the bond of perfectness.

 4:4  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling;

Not called to “believe”, but called to perform His example.

 4:5  One Master, one faith (belief), one baptism,

Three years after Christ is baptized in water by John, He tells the apostles that He has a baptism to be baptized in. In water again, no, it's already been done. He is speaking of being immersed in death.

Romans 6:4  Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism (immersion) into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory (honor) of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Hebrews 6:6  If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame.

The immersion of the Christian heart in the sacrifice of Yahweh.  Being immersed in truth, the knowledge and understanding. The one baptism Paul is talking about is not in water.

 4:6  One God and Father of all, who is above (over) all, and through all, and in you all.   (Mar 12:29-34; 1Cor 8:6; 1Ti 2:5)

Malachi 2:10  Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

 4:7  But unto every one of us is given grace (favor, Divine influence) according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

 4:8  Wherefore He saith, When He ascended up on high, He led (had taken) captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Psalm 68:18  You hast ascended on high, you hast led (taken) captivity captive: you hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that Yahweh God might dwell among them.

Note the difference in verse 8, 'gave',  and Psalm 68:18, 'received'. Only the Aramaic Targums have this verse as Paul quoted it here in verse 8. Paul was writing after the resurrection of Christ. The Psalmist was writing before.

The captivity of eternal death was smashed when Christ died. He received the gift for us.

 4:9  (Now that He ascended, what is it but that He also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

John 3:13  And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of Adam which is in heaven.

1Peter 3:18  For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring (lead) us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

3:19  By which also He went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

3:20  Which sometime (at one time) were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God awaited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved (preserved) by (through the) water.

3:21  The like figure (representation) whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer (demand) of a good conscience toward God,) by (through)  the resurrection of Yahshua Christ:

1Peter 4:6  For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

 4:10  He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that He might fill (fulfill) all things.)

 4:11  And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors (shepherds) and teachers;

 4:12  For the perfecting (restoration) of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Saints- the 'called out' seed of Abraham.

The “churches” teach that anybody who “believes” becomes a saint. But that is not what scripture teaches.

 4:13  Till we all come in the unity of the faith (The Belief), and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

13  until we all would attain to the unity of The Belief and of the acknowledgment of the Son of Yahweh, at man perfected, at the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Anointed (group);

Colossians 2:2  That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

 4:14  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness (of leading astray), whereby they lie in wait to deceive;   (Eph 5:6; 2Cor 10:5, 11:3-14; Gal 1:6-9; 2Ti 3:1-8, 4:2-4; 2Pet 2:2-22; Jud 1:10-19)

Systemized deception. You may not get it yet, but this is speaking of today's “churches”.

Isaiah 28:9  Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

Pulled away from the milk of the word.

Obviously we are still being deceived. Millions in “church”, learning about every wind of doctrine of men, a Jewish Jesus, the “rapture”, that you are a “gentile”, and that the law was “done away with”. And my favorites, “just believe” and “once saved always saved”. And the self declaration of “I'm saved”.

 4:15  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, the  Christ:

 4:16  From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

16  From whom all the body is being joined together and is being reconciled through every stroke of assistance according to the operation of each single part in proportion; the growth of the body creates itself into a building in love.

If we all practice perfecting ourselves to the best of our abilities to His example, then the whole body, race gets elevated.

The Old Life and the New

 4:17  This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,   (1Cor 12:2; Jer 10:2)

17  Therefore I say this, and I call you to witness with authority, no longer are you to walk as the nations who walk in the vanity of their minds,

What nations? The Genesis 10 nations, and Israelites of old and today, pagans.

Colossians 3:6  For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

3:7  In the which you also walked some time, when you lived in them.

Romans 1:21  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

 4:18  Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness (hardness) of their heart:

KJV got this one right. 'alienated'. Not 'aliens' like in 2:12.

Without understanding, we are alienated from Yahweh.

This is not talking about converting Jews, which is impossible, for they have no light in them.

It's referring to Israelites who fell away from The Way.

Acts 26:18  To open their eyes (Israelites), and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith (allegiance) that is in Me.

1Thessalonians 4:5  Not in the lust of concupiscence (what is forbidden), even as the Gentiles (dispersed Nations) which know not God:

 4:19  Who being past feeling (showing no sorrow) have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness (arrogance).

1Timothy 4:2  Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

1Peter 4:3  For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the heathens, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

 4:20  But you have not so learned Christ;

20  But you, not in this manner do you learn from Christ,

 4:21  If so be that you have heard Him, and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Yahshua:

 4:22  That you put off concerning the former conversation (mode of life) the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

Colossians 3:7  In the which you also walked some time, when you lived in them.

 4:23  And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Colossians 3:10  And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created Him:

This is baptism. Immersed in the knowledge and understanding of Him.

 4:24  And that you put on the new (renewed) man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (set-apartness).   (Gen 1:26; Wis 9:3; Rom 8:1)

 4:25  Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.   (Zec 8:16)

The scriptures define neighbor as fellow man, kinsmen, brother, him near to you.

Rules for the New Life

 4:26  Be you angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:   (Psa 4:4; Deut 24:15)

Settle your differences.

Psalm 37:8  Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any wise to do evil.

 4:27  Neither give place to the devil.

1Peter 5:9  Whom resist stedfast in The Belief, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

 4:28  Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Acts 20:35  I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring you ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Prince Yahshua, how He said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Luke 3:11  He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.

 4:29  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace (Divine influence) unto the hearers.  (1 Thes 5:11, Col 3:16)

 4:30  And grieve (vex) not the holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Isaiah 7:13  And he said, Hear you now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also?

 4:31  Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:  (Col 3:8,19; Jas 4:11; Tit 3:3)

 4:32  And be you kind one to another, tenderhearted (compassionate), forgiving (dealing graciously with) one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven (dealt graciously with) you.  (2 Cor 2:10; Col 3:13)

Mark 11:25  And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Ephesians 5:1  Be you therefore followers (imitators) of God, as dear children;

“Just believing”, is not following.

Renounce Pagan Ways

 5:2  And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.   (Exo 29:18; Psa 40:6)

The death of the martyrs were a sweet savor to Yahweh. Christ's was the most potent, we must strengthen our potency.

 5:3  But fornication (whoring, race mixing), and all uncleanness, or covetousness (greediness), let it not be once named among you, as becometh (as is suitable with) saints;  (Rom 6:13, 1 Cor 5:1)

Race mixing, uncleanness, and greed are not suitable for saints.

 5:4  Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking (dirty jokes), nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

 5:5  For this you know, that no whoremonger (race mixer), nor unclean person, nor covetous (greedy)  man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ (the Anointed, the group) and of God.  (1Cor 6:9)

 5:6  Let no man deceive you with vain words ('church' doctrine): for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience (disbelief, unpersuadableness) (Israelites).  (Eph 4:14)

Jeremiah 29:8  For thus saith Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners (soothsayers), that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed.

 5:7  Be not you therefore partakers with them.

 5:8  For you were sometimes darkness, but now are you light in the Prince: walk as children of light:   (Eph 2:2, 4:18; Col 3:7)

Isaiah 9:2  The people (Israel) that walked in darkness (fell away) have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

 5:9  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)   (Php 1:11)

Galatians 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith (allegiance),

 5:10  Proving what is acceptable unto the Prince.

Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world (society): but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

 5:11  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.   (Joh 16:8)

The “churches” teach tolerance, don't rock the boat or be controversial. Here, scripture demands that we rebuke unrighteousness. Does your “church” allow homosexuals, mixed races and marriages? Worship a Jewish Jesus? Eat pork?

Political correctness is public cowardice. If we don't rebuke sin, we are just as guilty.

Romans 6:21  What fruit had you then in those things whereof you are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

1Timothy 5:20  Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

 5:12  For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

 5:13  But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.   (Joh 16:8)

 5:14  Wherefore He saith, Awake you that sleepest, and arise from the dead (mentally and spiritually), and Christ shall give you light.   (Isa 26:19)

 5:15  See then that you walk circumspectly (precisely), not as fools, but as wise,

Colossians 4:5  Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

 5:16  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.   (Col 4:5)

We can't redeem time. It should read, 'Buying the time,'

 5:17  Wherefore be you not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Master is.

 5:18  And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess (abandonment); but be filled with the Spirit;

 5:19  Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Prince;  (Act 16:25)

 5:20  Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Prince Yahshua Christ;

20  At all times being thankful for all things in the name of our Prince, Yahshua Christ, to Yahweh, even the Father.

Psalm 34:1 I will bless Yahweh at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

1Peter 2:5  Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Yahshua Christ.

This is obedience, practice, and imitating His example.

The Christian Household

 5:21  Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear (understanding) of God.  (Phil 2:3; Exo 20:20)

 5:22  Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Prince.   (Col 3:18; 1Pet 3:1)

 5:23  For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church (assembly): and He is the Saviour (deliverer) of the body.

 5:24  Therefore as the church (assembly) is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

 5:25  Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church (assembly), and gave Himself for it;   (Col 3:19; 1Pet 3:7)

Christ gave himself for His people (body), not some physical “church”.

Acts 20:28  Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Spirit hath made you overseers, to feed the assembly of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood.  (ecclessia- assembly of called out, holy, set apart seed of Jacob, the Anointed group)

 5:26  That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,   (Rev 19:8-9)

John 15:3  Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

 5:27  That He might present it to Himself a glorious church (assembly), not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (blame).

Colossians 1:22  In the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight:  Christ died for His people, His race.

Song of Solomon 4:7  You art all fair, my love; there is no spot in you.

'Fair' is a description. An unmixed anglo-saxon is fair. Unblemished refers to unmixed. Holy.

 5:28  So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

 5:29  For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Prince the church (assembly):

 5:30  For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.

DNA. We are talking about kind after kind. The seed of Abraham. A particular race according to the flesh. Called, chosen, set apart, a peculiar people, the only family He has known.

Genesis 2:23  And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

 5:31  For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.   (Gen 2:24)

 5:32  This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church (assembly).

 5:33  Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Amazing how the KJV force feeds the word 'church'. The Greek word is 'ecclesia'. It means an assembly, congregation, or gathering of Yahweh's children, the 'called' seed of Abraham. It never refers to a building, or clerical order, or a mixed race congregation. King James ordered his translators to change the Greek word and meaning of 'ecclesia' to the incorrect and deceiving word “church”. NEVER does the word “church” appear in the manuscripts, because it does not mean a building, an order, a hierarchy of clerical apostasy.

It always means the people, the group, the called out saints. The congregation of Israelites following The Way.

Children and Parents

Ephesians 6:1  Children, obey your parents in the Prince (authority): for this is right.  (Col 3:20)

 6:2  Honour your father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

The Greek has 'which is the first commandment with  a  promise.'

 6:3  That it may be well with you, and you mayest live long on the earth.   (Exo 20:12; Deut 5:16)

 6:4  And, you fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (older texts have authority).

Colossians 3:21  Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

Genesis 18:19  For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of Yahweh, to do justice and judgment; that Yahweh may bring upon Abraham that which He hath spoken of him.

Even from Genesis, the seed of Abraham was the chosen family of Yahweh. No room here for Blacks, Asians, Mexicans, Jews or any other race. You will not find the scriptures accepting these in the promises, covenants, or redemption that Yahweh made to Abraham.

Our corrupt society, and the state, raises our children today. And the TV.

Slaves and Masters

 6:5  Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto (with) Christ;

 6:6  Not with eyeservice (lip service), as menpleasers (ass kissers); but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;   (Rom 6:16-23)

 6:7  With good will doing service, as to the Prince, and not to men:

 6:8  Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Prince, whether he be bond or free.   (Col 3:21-22)

 6:9  And, you masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons (partiality) with him.   (Col 4:1, 3:25; Deut 10:17)

The Greek: 9  And masters, these same things you must do towards them, giving up threat of punishment, knowing also that the Master of them and of you is in the heavens, and there is no respect of the stature of persons before Him.

The “churches” teach that 'respect of persons' means any race. Scripture is clear that this book is about the race of Adam. And Yahweh does not care if you are poor or rich, Hold high office or no office.

The Whole Armor of Elohiym

 6:10  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Prince, and in the power of His might.

 6:11  Put on the whole armour of Yahweh, that you may be able to stand against the wiles (methods) of the devil. (2Cor 6:7; Wis 5:17)

 6:12  For we wrestle not (alone) against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world (age), against spiritual wickedness in high places.

       (Rom 8:38)

 6:13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

2Corinthians 10:4  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

 6:14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;   (Isa 11:5, 59:17)

 6:15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Isaiah 52:7  How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

 6:16  Above all, taking the shield of faith (The Belief), wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation (deliverance), and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:   (Isa 59:17; Wis 5:18-23)

1Thessalonians 5:8  But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of belief and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

Hebrews 4:12  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

 6:19  And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Acts 4:29  And now, Prince, behold their threatenings: and grant unto your servants, that with all boldness they may speak your word,

It's a mystery to those who forgot or don't understand that Christ came for the lost sheep of the House of Israel. Israelites. You and me. The 'saints' of Abraham's seed.

 6:20  For which I am an ambassador in bonds (prison): that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

 6:21  But that you also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful (trustworthy) minister in the Prince, shall make known to you all things:  (Acts 20:4)

 6:22  Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that you might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.   (Col 4:7-8)

Tychicus delivered the message to the Ephesians.

2Timothy 4:12  And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.

 6:23  Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith (belief), from God the Father and the Prince Yahshua Christ.

 6:24  Grace (favor) be with all them that love our Prince Yahshua Christ in sincerity. Amen.

The Whole Armor of Yahweh

Bertrand Comparet

In the Greek armor the girdle, or military belt, was used to brace the armor tight against the body, and to cover the space where the two parts of the breastplate joined. This girdle was also used as a belt on which to suspend a dagger or a short sword. The breastplate consisted of two parts. One part reached from the neck to the navel, the other part hung from the navel to the knees, then the two parts were joined by the girdle. The lower legs and feet were protected by greaves made of gold, silver, brass or iron.

The head was protected by a helmet, made of various metals. The shield was carried on the left arm, and was sometimes made of thick, strong sole leather, or sometimes was a frame of wood covered with brass or iron. All these things were defensive armor. Then there was a sword, an offensive weapon. He who had all this armor, was completely armed for combat.

Certainly no man made doctrines and dogmas will suffice. We must turn to the source of all great truth, the Bible. This is where Paul begins, “having your loins girt about with truth.” In John 18:38 Pontius Pilate asked Yahshua, “What is truth?” In John 17:17 Yahshua said Yahweh’s word is truth, and is the only truth that matters.

Remember that Yahweh’s word to us has been mostly the rules by which our personal and national lives should be governed, by these laws and His commandments. Psalm 119:142, 151 tells us, “Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Thy law is the truth. ... Thou art near O Yahweh, and all Thy commandments are truth.” How many of our churches today remember, all Yahweh’s commandments are the truth?

The churches teach that the Old Testament is just the record of Yahweh’s well meant failure to accomplish what He wanted to do, after which He gave up and started over on something within His means, in the New Testament. Some of them even apologize for the Old Testament as just a collection of the myths of a primitive people!

We also can see that all the commandments of Yahweh are the truth as Psalm 119:151 says. Therefore we can’t throw any part of it in the rubbish heap, as some of the churches do with the Old Testament. We must take both the Old and New Testaments as one book.

Yahshua confirms this in Matthew 5:17-19 where He says, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled. Whosoever, therefore, shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

Next Paul mentions the breastplate of righteousness. This we might say is to do Yahweh’s truth, this is not a new idea in the Bible. Speaking of Yahweh Isaiah 59:17 says, “He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon His head.” Paul carries this same simile into Ephesians, which we have quoted.

The Bible has much to say about righteousness and what it will do for us. Isaiah 48:18 records, “O that you hadst hearkened to My commandments! Then had your peace been as a river, and your righteousness as the sea.” Isaiah 32:16-18 fills out this picture. “Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field; and the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever. And My people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.”

Next Paul says that our feet should be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Not the false satanic hope of peace by reliance upon the pagan, Christ hating countries of the United Nations. Peace never comes from leaders of these pagan countries, they don’t even know the meaning of peace. However, many churches of today teach that our only hope of peace is in surrendering to the United Nations. Have they never heard the Prince of peace is Yahshua?

Peace can only come on Yahweh’s own terms, after Yahweh’s kingdom has been established. Yahshua confirms this for in Matthew 10:34 He said, “Think not that I am come to send peace on the earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” Only under the rule of Yahweh will peace come, the scriptures verify this throughout the Bible.

In Isaiah 52:7 we read these famous words. “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of Him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, your God reigneth!” It is only when the kingdom of Yahweh has become an effective reality on earth, the good tidings of peace can be published, and not otherwise.

Isaiah 9:6-7 records, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulders: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of Yahweh will perform this.”

It is only of Yahweh’s government and peace that there shall be no end. The scriptures have never promised us any other peace. Peace certainly cannot come under the United Nations which recognizes no god but the stone idol of Zeus, which stands in the lobby of its building in New York City.

Paul says we need the shield of faith. In the original Greek, from which this was translated, it says the faith. This is important, not just faith, not just belief in something, but the faith. The pagans who worshiped Moloch and Baal certainly had faith. They offered their first born sons as bloody sacrifices on the altar, but it was the wrong faith. There is far too little true faith, the faith, in the world. In Luke 18:8 Yahshua sorrowfully asks, “When the Son of man cometh, shall He find the faith on the earth?”

What is the faith? After His resurrection Yahshua defined the faith. He rebuked two of His disciples for their failure to understand what had happened, it is recorded in Luke 24:25. “O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken.” Today, most churches believe only the gospel of personal salvation. They despise all the rest that the prophets have spoken, they do not have the faith.

Next Paul lists the helmet of salvation, it is fifth on the list. You must have the first four parts of armor, before you are ready for this one. In the Old Testament, four Hebrew words are translated salvation. In the New Testament, two Greek words are translated salvation, all six have the primary meaning of safety. This is not only safety for the individual, it must also be safety for the nation. If you voluntarily let your nation lose its salvation, do you think that you as an individual, can keep yours? Among our ancient ancestors, those whose indifference allowed Baal worship to enter the land, perished with it. Personal salvation by itself is not enough. Today most Christians are running around unarmed and naked except for just a helmet.

We can’t stand passively by while this battle rages. Besides the defensive armor of Yahweh, we must also have the sword of the spirit, which Paul tells us, is the word of Yahweh. If you know this, and are not afraid to use it, you can drive the enemy out of our schools, churches and our government, even out of our land.

Satan has disarmed most people by subverting the churches. These churches are now teaching Christians must avoid anything which is controversial and teaching Christians they should love everybody, good or evil.

As a real Christian, you are armed with the girdle of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, and your feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. In addition you have the shield of the faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit. What are you armed for? To do battle courageously against all wickedness. Let’s go! With these arms, and under the leadership of Yahshua, YOUR DESTINY IS VICTORY!!!

EPHESIANS-  CHURCH DOCTRINE VS. SCRIPTURE

Below are 3 sources of what the modern churches preach today about the book of Ephesians.

The purpose is to expose the apostasy and perversion of the scriptures, and to educate our people about the truth of our heritage. That we, the Anglo-Saxon race who are the descendants of ancient Israel, are the people of Abraham's seed and therefore the heirs of the promises of Yahweh. Not the Jews who distort and pervert the scriptures and teach the 'traditions of men'.

The book of Ephesians is a Prison Epistle (letter written while in prison). Paul wrote it about 60-62 A.D. The key personalities of Ephesians are the Apostle Paul and Tychicus. It was written to encourage believers (saints) to walk as fruitful followers of Christ and to serve in unity and love in the midst of persecution.

See how they push 'believers'. You are not a saint because you “believe”, rather you believe because you are a saint. Only the seed of Abraham can be called 'saints'. For 'saints', the seed of Abraham, are called by Yahweh.

•    In chapters 1-3, Paul begins with the joyful truth that every believer (saint !) has been chosen by God before the foundation of the world, "He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will" (1:4-5). Paul then teaches about the unity of believers (saints). These are the truths and blessings that all believers (saints) have in common. He wrote that all Christians are “adopted as sons through Jesus Christ” (1:5). If you remember, 'adopted' is not the original Greek word here. The correct word 'uiothesia' means 'placement of son'. All believers (saints) are, “redeemed through His blood” (1:7), and “sealed by the Holy Spirit” (1:13). Paul continues on to clear up one of the most misconceived and/or often ignored subjects even to this day, “Salvation (preservation) by Grace (favor)”. He wrote that salvation (preservation) is by the “Grace”  (favor) of God and that it is through “Faith” (allegiance), and that no one can contribute to salvation (preservation), in any way, even with good deeds: "For by grace (favor) you have been saved (preserved) through faith (allegiance); and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works (rituals), so that no one may boast'' (2:8-9).

•    In chapters 4-5, Paul encourages the believer (saints) to “walk in a manner worthy of the calling”. Every believer (saint) has a responsibility to live as servants of Jesus Christ. In these chapters, Paul teaches that it takes hard work to be in unity with others, and that we are to be “imitators of God” (5:1). He mentions imperative truths and advice for well functioning families, including husbands and wives who upon the oath of marriage become as “one flesh” (5:31). Paul explains the concept of a biblical marriage. Marriage is a picture of Christ and the church (body of believers) and the way that Jesus Christ loved the church (assembly) is the way that the husband must love his treasured wife, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church (assembly) and gave Himself up for her" (5:25). Paul doesn’t end there, he goes on to reinforce that husbands are to love their wives, "as their own bodies" and also to love their wives, "even as himself (vss 28;33).

When a husband learns to love his wife in this way, his wife usually has no issues fulfilling her role and even enjoys it, "the wife must see to it that she respects her husband" (vs 33).

• In chapter 6, Paul instructs believers (saints, saints, saints!!!) how to prepare for spiritual battle by dressing in the “full armor of God” (6:11). Prayer is the key weapon of the Christian soldier. He emphasizes his principle with the repeated statement “stand firm”.

Summary of the Book of Ephesians

The City of Ephesus

Ephesus was the most important city in western Asia Minor (now Turkey). It had a harbor that at that time opened into the Cayster River, which in turn emptied into the Aegean Sea. Because it was also at an intersection of major trade routes, Ephesus became a commercial center. It boasted a pagan temple dedicated to the Roman goddess Diana (Greek Artemis); Acts 19:23-31. Paul made Ephesus a center for evangelism for about three years and the church (assembly) there apparently flourished for some time, but later needed the warning of Rev 2:1-7.

Theological Message

Unlike several of the other letters Paul wrote, Ephesians does not address any particular error or heresy. Paul wrote to expand the horizons of his readers, so that they might understand better the dimensions of God's eternal purpose and grace (favor) and come to appreciate the high goals God has for the church (assembly).

The “church” is not a fast 'food' chain. He wants a congregation of 'saints' that follow The Way.

The letter opens with a sequence of statements about God's blessings, which are interspersed with a remarkable variety of expressions drawing attention to God's wisdom, forethought and purpose. Paul emphasizes that we have been saved (preserved) we are not out of the woods yet. Don't fall for the “once saved, always saved” lie, not only for our personal benefit, but also to bring praise and glory (honor) to God. The climax of God's purpose, "when the times will have reached their fulfillment," is to bring all things in the universe together under Christ (1:10). It is crucially important that Christians realize this, so in 1:15-23 Paul prays for their understanding (a second prayer occurs in 3:14-21).

Having explained God's great goals for the church (assembly), Paul proceeds to show the steps toward their fulfillment. First, God has reconciled individuals to himself as an act of grace (favor) (2:1-10). The reconciliation is the bringing back in of dispersed, or 'put away in punishment' tribes of Israel under the New Covenant. Both the circumcised and uncircumcised. Second, God has reconciled these saved (preserved) individuals to each other, Christ having broken down the barriers through his own death (2:11-22). Not to open the door to everybody in the world, but to all the tribes of Israel. But God has done something even beyond this: He has united these reconciled individuals (House of Judah and House of Israel) in one body, the church (the people, assembly, congregation). This is a "mystery" not fully known until it was revealed to Paul (3:1-6). The mystery was that Christ's own people, kin, race, did not know or remember who they were, because they were scattered in the wilderness for disobedience. Now Paul is able to state even more clearly what God has intended for the church (assembly), namely, that it be the means by which he displays his "manifold wisdom" to the "rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms" (3:7-13). The “church” is not the source of wisdom, it comes from the righteous rulers and authority. Church is not an authority. It is clear through the repetition of "heavenly realms" (1:3,20; 2:6; 3:10; 6:12) that Christian existence is not merely on an earthly plane. It receives its meaning and significance from heaven, where Christ is exalted at the right hand of God (1:20).

Nevertheless, that life is lived out on earth, where the practical daily life of the believer (saint, seed of Abraham) continues to work out the purposes of God. The ascended Lord (Prince) gave "gifts" to the members of his church (assembly) to enable them to minister to one another and so promote unity and maturity (4:1-16). The unity of the church (assembly) under the headship of Christ foreshadows the uniting of "all things in heaven and on earth" under Christ (1:10). The new life of purity and mutual deference stands in contrast to the old way of life without Christ (4:17 -- 6:9). Those who are "strong in the Lord (Prince)" have victory over the evil one in the great spiritual conflict, especially through the power of prayer (6:10-20; see note on 1:3).

For a brief time at the end of his second missionary journey, and then for more than two years on his third missionary journey, Paul ministered to the church (assembly)at Ephesus (Acts 18:18–21; 19:1–41). During his time in this city that housed the famous temple to the Greek goddess Artemis, Paul saw many converted to faith (allegiance) in Jesus Christ and many others who opposed his preaching in the synagogues and homes. One prominent silversmith, Demetrius, who made implements for the worship of Artemis, found his business suffering greatly because people were converting to Christianity. The ensuing near-riot led Paul to leave the city, but only after the apostle had done much to stabilize and grow the Christian community there. Why didn't they use “church” here?

Paul wrote the letter to the Ephesians sometime in AD 60–61, around the same time he wrote Colossians and Philemon, as he sent all three letters by the hand of Tychicus, accompanied by Onesimus (Ephesians 6:21; Colossians 4:7–9; Philemon 1:10–12). It was during this time that Paul sat in Rome undergoing his first Roman imprisonment (Ephesians 3:1; 4:1), making Ephesians one of the four epistles commonly known as the Prison Epistles. The others are Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon.

Why is Ephesians so important?

2 Corinthians and Galatians abound with personal touches from Paul, either about his own life or that of the recipients. Ephesians, on the other hand, stands at the opposite end of the spectrum as one of Paul’s most formal letters. While Galatians offers instructions particularly important for those churches (assemblies) overrun with legalism, Ephesians deals with topics at the very core of what it means to be a Christian—both in faith and in practice—regardless of any particular problem in the community.

What's the big idea?

Paul divided his letter to the Ephesians into two clear segments; applying the truths of the first makes possible the actions and lifestyle of the second. Paul spent the first three chapters of the letter discussing God’s creation of a holy community by His gift of grace (favor) in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The members of this community have been chosen by God through the work of Christ, adopted as sons and daughters of God How can you be adopted if you are already children of God? It should be understood by the correct word and meaning, 'placed into position of sons and daughters', meaning earning your rightful place as heir by allegiance (faith) to God, and brought near to the Father through faith in His Son. All people with this faith—Jews and Gentiles alike—were dead in their transgressions and sins but have been made alive because of the person and work of Jesus Christ.

'Jews and Gentiles alike'. First of all, 'Jews' are not Israelites, but don't believe me, this is from their own addmition, ("Strictly speaking it is incorrect to call an ancient Israelite a ‘Jew’ or to call a contemporary Jew an Israelite or a Hebrew."1980 Jewish Almanac, p. 3). Or how about one of the many identifications that Christ revealed, (John 8:44).  'Jew' in scripture is a deliberate mistranslation from the word 'Judaean'. Simply, there were Canaanites and Edomites (Jews), living in Judaea, as well as true Israelites. Second, 'Gentiles' does not mean non-Jew. It only means, a nation, or kinsman of the same race. And in scripture, refers to the Nations of Israel (those of the 12 tribes). Sometimes it refers to the other nations (races) of the world, based on the context of the use. These quotes should correctly read, 'Judaeans and dispersed Nations alike'.

While Paul was not responding to a particular theological or moral problem, he wanted to protect against future problems by encouraging the Ephesians to mature in their faith. So after laying out profound theological truths in the first half of the book, Paul made his purpose clear: he expected that this community of faith would walk in accordance with its heavenly calling (Ephesians 4:1). Right, the seed of Abraham (saints) have a 'calling'. As a result of the theological realities Christians accept by their faith in God, several practices should follow in their relationships within the church (assembly), in the home, and in the world.

How do I apply this?

The book of Ephesians hits on a wide range of moral and ethical behaviors, designed to ensure believers (saints) are living up to our heavenly calling. As we continue in our faith from day to day, month to month, and year to year, the temptation to get comfortable will always exist. However, Paul presented the gift of God in Christ and the benefits we receive so clearly that we cannot help but ask ourselves if our lives reflect that reality as they should.

How have you grown in your Christian life since you came to faith in Jesus Christ? 'Faith in Jesus Christ' is sold in the “churches” as a belief. “Just Believe”. But we must come to the faith of Christ, meaning, we must have confidence (trust) in the allegiance (faith) that He had. Which was righteousness and obedience to the Father. While we must “believe”, we must also imitate and DO. The latter half of Ephesians makes clear that spiritual growth occurs primarily in community with others, iron sharpening iron (Proverbs 27:17). Your Christian “walk” (in other words, your daily life) is to be characterized by unity, holiness, love, wisdom, and perseverance in spiritual warfare. And obedience.

Maturity yields benefits in believers’ (saint's) moral lives, but it extends far beyond that as well. Increased maturity benefits the community at large, leading us as Christians to present a more consistent witness to the working of God in our lives as well as protecting us from the harmful divisions and quarrels that have plagued so many communities throughout history.
