Easter

EASTER

Easter is a pagan and satanic holiday.

No matter how you look at it, participating in Easter is participating in idolatry.

Easter has nothing to do with Christianity.

Acts 12:4  And when he (Herod, an Edomite Jew) had apprehended him (Peter), he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

This is not the original translation, it is the KJV perversion.

Where the KJV has 'Easter', the Greek word for the passover is from G3957 pashca, meaning the feast of the remembrance of the passover.

In the OT Hebrew it is H6453 pesach, meaning the passover.

The translators inserted the word 'Easter' into the revisions of scripture.

If Easter really was pagan and Satanic, wouldn't you stop participating in it?

Whether you practice this idolatry in ignorance or deliberately makes no difference, you will have to answer for it in the end!

Below are some articles and research on the history of Easter and it's origins.

The name Easter actually comes from Ishtar / Easter who was worshiped as the moon goddess, the goddess of spring and fertility, and the Queen of Heaven. She is known by so many other names in other countries and cultures that she is often referred to as the goddess of one thousand names.

Astarte – is the Phoenician and Greek “fertility goddess” - also called Diana the “fertility goddess”

Ashtaroth – is the Hebrew name for the Canaanite “fertility goddess”

Ishtar – is the Babylonian “fertility goddess”

Eastre – is the Anglo Saxon “fertility goddess”

[Inanna is the Sumerian name of Ishtar, and definitely the most important one. Inanna was the granddaughter of Enlil, who in turn was Anu's son. Anu was the highest ranking Anunnaki and his name translated "Great Sky Father". Anu was revered as 'god of the Heavens' and he was the central figure of mankind's first religion. According to the Sumerian tablets, he only visited Earth twice].

The Babylonian Connections

(John 8:44, II Corinthians 11:14, 1 Peter 5:8) Ishtar – the Babylonian goddess – is the one for whom Easter is named. Ishtar is but another name for Semiramis – the wife of Nimrod. This post-Flood festival was part of the false religion Mystery Babylon and was started by Nimrod and his wife Semiramis (also known as Ishtar).

They not only instituted the building of the Tower of Babel, they also established themselves as god and goddess to be worshiped by the people of Babylon. They are the co-founders of all the counterfeit religions that have ever existed.

Nimrod was worshiped as the Sun God. He was worshiped in numerous cultures and countries under a variety of names: Samas, Attis, Uti, Merodach/Marduk, Ninus, Bel/Baal, Moloch, Tammuz - the list is virtually endless. [He was also known as Dumuzi by the Sumerians and as RA by the Egyptians].

Millions of people are unknowingly worshiping and praying to this pagan goddess today. And millions of people are knowingly and defiantly worshiping this paganism today and teaching their children to partake as well.

The Babylonians celebrated the day of Ishtar / Easter as the return of the goddess of Spring – the re-birth or reincarnation of Nature and the goddess of Nature. Babylonian legend says that each year a huge egg would fall from heaven and would land in the area around the Euphrates River.

[The pope's ceremonial clothes copy those worn by the ancient priests of Dagon, and not by coincidence. According to the Sumerian tablets, when the Anunnaki god Enki first arrived on Earth, he landed his space ship on water. He later emerged from water wearing his 'scaly fish-suit'. Thousands of years later, the ceremony of the fish god was still celebrated in Akkadia, Assyria and Babylon, by the priests of Dagon... and seemingly it still is today].

In her yearly re-birth, Ishtar would break out of this egg and if any of those celebrating this occasion happened to find her egg, Ishtar would bestow a special blessing on that person. Does this explain the origin of our modern-day tradition of Easter eggs and baskets and Easter egg hunts?

Other pagan rites that were connected with this celebration and which are part of our modern Easter tradition are Easter offerings to the Queen of Heaven (consisting of freshly cut flowers, hot buns decorated with crosses, and star-shaped cakes); new clothes to celebrate this festival (The pagan priests wore new clothes or robes and the Vestal Virgins wore new white dresses or robes and bonnets on their heads.); and sunrise services (to symbolically hasten the yearly arrival of Ishtar’s egg from heaven - the re-incarnation of the spring goddess).

The Satanic Ritual of Sacrificing Children

Every year, the priests of Ishtar would impregnate young virgins on an altar dedicated to herself and her husband*. The children were born on Christmas (9 months later), and the next year they were sacrificed in the Easter's Sunday at the sunrise service. The priests would take Ishtar's eggs and dye them in the blood of the sacrificed children.

*Inanna's husband was none other that the infamous god Moloch or Melekh, to whom children were - and still are - sacrificed in Satanic rituals. Satanism is the religious worship of the Anunnaki, and the human and animal sacrifices were/are part of the rituals.

Jeremiah 32:35  And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

Amos 5:26  But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.

Acts 7:43  Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

If you're finding it hard to believe, then here is an excerpt of the Encyclopaedia Judaica, which identifies Ishtar/Inanna and her husband as the gods to whom children were sacrificed:

"(...) The identification of Hadad-Baal with Moloch provides the background to Jeremiah 32:35, which fulminates against the bamot-altars of Baal in the valley of Ben-Hinnom where male and female children were burnt to Moloch, i.e., Baal-Hadad. Furthermore, a series of Assyrian-Aramean documents analyzed by K. Deller showed that Adadmilki or Adadšarru ("Adad the king") was actually the god to whom children, sometimes firstborn, were burned (see below).

"The Assyrian material sheds new light on II Kings 17 where Adadmelech (to be read instead of Adrammelech) is the god to whom the Sepharvites burn/dedicate their children (verse 31). Adadmelech in this verse stands next to Anammelech who has been correctly related by scholars to Anath who bears the title 'Queen of Heaven,' the standard term for Ishtar in Akkadian (šarrat šamê; cf. Sumerian nin.anna.ak = Inanna). The pair Adad and Ishtar, or the 'king' and the 'queen,' are the ones to whom children are dedicated in the Assyrian-Aramean documents quoted above." - The Cult of Moloch, Jewish Library

There are absolutely no verses anywhere in the Bible that authorize or endorse the keeping of an Easter celebration. Further, the Bible says nothing about the practice of observing Lent, dying Easter eggs, having Easter egg hunts, baskets of candy, bonnets – and so on. Easter has long been known to be a pagan festival. America’s founders knew this.

In the children’s book Easter Parade: Welcome Sweet Spring Time (pp 4-5) Steve Englehaty states:

“When the puritans came to North America, they regarded the celebration of Easter – and the celebration of Christmas with suspicion. They knew that pagans had celebrated the return of spring long before Christians celebrated Easter. (...) For the first 200 years of European life in North America, only a few states - mostly in the South - paid much attention to Easter.

“Not until after the Civil War did Americans begin celebrating this holiday... Easter first became an American tradition in the 1870’s... The original 13 colonies of America began as a Christian nation, with the cry of ‘No king but King Jesus’. The nation did not observe Easter within an entire century of its founding.”

Most people accept traditions as fact because they have been part of our culture for so long. Unfortunately, most of these traditions are dark and gory Satanic rituals.

Below are scriptural records of the gods of the Canaanite and Edomite Jews and the other races, which Yahweh demands we “be separate, and come up out of”.

1Kings 11:4  For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with Yahweh his God, as was the heart of David his father.

Deuteronomy 17:17  Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

11:5  For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

Judges 2:13  And they forsook Yahweh, and served Baal and Ashtaroth.   (2 Ki 23:13)

Ashtoreth is where Easter comes from. Ishtar, Astarte, all names of the goddess of fertility, hence the eggs. Sex, orgies and race mixing were the practices of these rituals.

Milcom is a reference to the six pointed star. The “churches” teach that this is the star of David, which is incorrect. It is the star of Solomon when he adopted the Canaanite religion through his strange wives. The star is the star of Molech, Chemosh, Baal, Satan, the Devil, and the Jews, who are the Devil's children through Cain and Esau.

The number six is an evil number in scripture.

11:6  And Solomon did evil in the sight of Yahweh, and went not fully after Yahweh, as did David his father.

1Kings 11:30  And Ahijah caught the new garment that was on him (Jeroboam), and rent it in twelve pieces:

11:31  And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith Yahweh, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:

11:32  (But he shall have one tribe for My servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:)

11:33  Because that they have forsaken Me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom (Molech) the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in My ways, to do that which is right in Mine eyes, and to keep My statutes and My judgments, as did David his father.

11:34  Howbeit I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand: but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David My servant's sake, whom I chose, because he kept My commandments and My statutes:

11:35  But I will take the kingdom out of his son's hand, and will give it unto thee, even ten tribes.

The nation was punished because of the idolatry and race-mixing that comes with pagan practices.

The same thing is happening today. America has adopted every race and every religion!

Josiah was one of the good kings of Judah. He began to reign at eight years old and did right in the sight of Yahweh. Evidently the book of the law (Torah) had not been read yearly and observed by the people, it was simply missing and forgotten. Hence the adoption of pagan practices. When Josiah was read the book of the law he knew what he had to do.

Renewal of the covenant

2Kings 23:1  And the king sent, and they gathered unto him all the elders of Judah and of Jerusalem.

23:2  And the king went up into the house of Yahweh, and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the people, both small and great: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of Yahweh.

23:3  And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before Yahweh, to walk after Yahweh, and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.

23:4  And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of Yahweh all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove (H842- asherah), and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.

We are not to worship the hosts of heaven, angels, saints, or people. Nothing but Yahweh!

23:5  And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.

Septuagint: 5  And he burned the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had appointed, (and they burned incense in the high places and in the cities of Judah, and the places around about Jerusalem); and (burned) them that burned incense to Baal, and to the sun, and to the moon, and to Mazuroth, and to all the host of heaven.

23:6  And he brought out the grove (H842- asherah poles) from the house of Yahweh, without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and stamped it small to powder, and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the people.

23:7  And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of Yahweh, where the women wove hangings for the grove (H842- asherah pole).

1Kings 14:24  And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which Yahweh cast out before the children of Israel.

Today these sodomites are those homosexuals, transgenders, and such that the “churches” accept into their congregations.

23:8  And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled (pronounced unclean) the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba, and brake down the high places of the gates that were in the entering in of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on a man's left hand at the gate of the city.

23:9  Nevertheless the priests of the high places came not up to the altar of Yahweh in Jerusalem, but they did eat of the unleavened bread among their brethren.

Ezekiel 44:10-14

10  And the Levites that are gone away far from Me, when Israel went astray, which went astray away from Me after their idols; they shall even bear their iniquity.

11  Yet they shall be ministers in My sanctuary, having charge at the gates of the house, and ministering to the house: they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them.

12  Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up Mine hand against them, saith Yahweh GOD, and they shall bear their iniquity.

13  And they shall not come near unto Me, to do the office of a priest unto Me, nor to come near to any of My holy things, in the most holy place: but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have committed.

14  But I will make them keepers of the charge of the house, for all the service thereof, and for all that shall be done therein.

23:10  And he defiled (pronounced unclean) Topheth, which is in the valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.

Isaiah 30:33  For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of Yahweh, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.

23:11  And he took away the horses that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entering in of the house of Yahweh, by the chamber of Nathanmelech the chamberlain, which was in the suburbs, and burned the chariots of the sun with fire.

23:12  And the altars that were on the top of the upper chamber of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had made, and the altars which Manasseh had made in the two courts of the house of Yahweh, did the king beat down, and brake them down from thence, and cast the dust of them into the brook Kidron.

Jeremiah 19:13  And the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, shall be defiled (pronounced unclean) as the place of Tophet, because of all the houses upon whose roofs they have burned incense unto all the host of heaven, and have poured out drink offerings unto other gods.

23:13  And the high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom (Molech) the abomination of the children of Ammon, did the king defile.   (1 Ki 11:7)

23:14  And he brake in pieces the images, and cut down the groves (H842- Asherim), and filled their places with the bones of men.

23:15  Moreover the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both that altar and the high place he brake down, and burned the high place, and stamped it small to powder, and burned the grove (H842- Asherah).   (1 Ki 12:28,33)

23:16  And as Josiah turned himself, he spied the sepulchres that were there in the mount, and sent, and took the bones out of the sepulchres, and burned them upon the altar, and polluted it, according to the word of Yahweh which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these words.

H842 is asherah. Groves (for idol worship), a Babylonian (Astarte)-Canaanite goddess (of fortune and happiness), the supposed consort of Baal, her images, sacred trees or poles set up near an altar.

The House of Israel, which is the 10 northern tribes, had already been carried off into captivity for their idolatry and race mixing. The house of Judah did not listen to the prophets warning of their own idolatrous ways. Yahweh was going to punish them too, judgment was cast, the Babylonians were sent against them. When the nation practices the ways of the heathen and adopts their ways, they are cursed. Keep partaking in Christmas and Easter, keep calling Him 'LORD', keep worshiping a Jewish Jesus. You will eventually find out.

Jeremiah 7:13  And now, because ye have done all these works, saith Yahweh, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;

7:14  Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by My name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

7:15  And I will cast you out of My sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, the whole seed of Ephraim (House of Israel).

2Kings 17:23  Until Yahweh removed Israel out of His sight, as He had said by all His servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.

7:16  Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to Me: for I will not hear thee.

Judgment is made, they will be punished. Don't bother praying Jeremiah.

7:17  Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

7:18  The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke Me to anger.

The queen of heaven is a reference to Ishtar. Easter is pagan!

7:19  Do they provoke Me to anger? saith Yahweh: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

The Septuagint has: 19  Do they provoke Me to anger? saith Yahweh: do they not provoke themselves, that their faces may be ashamed?

7:20  Therefore thus saith Yahweh GOD; Behold, Mine anger and My fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.

7:21  Thus saith Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

Yahweh is mocking Israel here.

7:22  For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

1Samuel 15:22  And Samuel said, Hath Yahweh as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of Yahweh? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

Psalm 51:16  For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

Hosea 6:6  For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

7:23  But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be My people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

7:24  But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

They continued in their pagan holidays and practices.

You either 'walk in the ways of Yahweh' or you walk in the ways of the gods, which are no gods.

Deuteronomy 5:32  Ye shall observe to do therefore as Yahweh your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

Matthew 5:37  But let your communication (conduct) be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Matthew 6:24  No man can serve two masters:

Matthew 7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

When the Babylonians invaded, some decided to try to escape to Egypt to avoid the punishment. Yahweh wanted them to accept punishment, and be preserved through it, but they did not trust in Him and fled.

Jeremiah 44:12  And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they shall even be consumed by the sword and by the famine: they shall die, from the least even unto the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.

44:13  For I will punish them that dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence:

44:14  So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah, to the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none shall return but such as shall escape.

Jeremiah, Baruch, and Zedekiah's daughters were protected by Yahweh during this because they were forced to go with those that tried to flee to Egypt.

44:15  Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

44:16  As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of Yahweh, we will not hearken unto thee.

44:17  But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

44:18  But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.

44:19  And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?

Moon worship.

This title referred to Ishtar, an Assyrian and Babylonian goddess also called Ashtoreth and Astarte by various other groups. She was thought to be the wife of the false god Baal, also known as Molech. This is also where we get Easter. Yes, Easter is a pagan holiday and has nothing to do with Christ. The worship of Astarte was introduced by Jezebel.

44:20  Then Jeremiah said unto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had given him that answer, saying,

44:21  The incense that ye burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, ye, and your fathers, your kings, and your princes, and the people of the land, did not Yahweh remember them, and came it not into His mind?

44:22  So that Yahweh could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.

44:23  Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against Yahweh, and have not obeyed the voice of Yahweh, nor walked in His law, nor in His statutes, nor in His testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day.

44:24  Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear the word of Yahweh, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt:

44:25  Thus saith Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.

The same thing happens today. Our people, stuck in these pagan traditions, will not give them up. Especially the women, as pointed out in verses 24-25, who allow and teach their children to partake in the festivities of Satan's children.

It takes 3-4 generations to purge pagan habits.

Exodus 20:3  Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

20:4  Thou shalt not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven (sky) above, or that is in the earth (land) beneath, or that is in the water under the earth (below the land):

20:5  Thou shalt not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I Yahweh your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me;   (Lev 19:4 26:1  Deut 4:15-18 27:15)

The sins of the fathers are visited on the following progeny. When the children of Israel left Egypt, most of the people had adopted the pagan religions and habits of Egypt, which at the time was overrun by Hyksos Canaanites that eventually bred out the Hamitic blood. The next generation born during the Exodus would have a strong connection to their parents gods, as well as a new, small connection with Yahweh. Then when they had children, the connection with Yahweh and pagan gods would even out. Now we get to the third generation, where many of their pagan grandparents were dying off in the wilderness. At the same time these grandchildren were learning more about Yahweh and less about their parents gods. By the time they entered the Promised Land, only Joshua and Caleb were left of those that came out of Egypt, and the rest of Israel were those born in the wilderness, learning, witnessing, and calling on Yahweh.

Acts 19:23  And the same time there arose no small stir about that way (The Way).

 19:24  For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;

19:25  Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth.

Diana was another name used for the goddess Ishtar- Easter.

19:26  Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:

Psalm 115:4  Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

Isaiah 44:10  Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing? (see Isaiah 44:10-20)

Jeremiah 10:3  For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.  (Christmas is a pagan holiday)

19:27  So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world (inhabited world) worshippeth.

19:28  And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.

19:29  And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre. (Rom 16:23)

19:30  And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not.

19:31  And certain of the chief of Asia, which were his friends, sent unto him, desiring him that he would not adventure himself into the theatre.

19:32  Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.

19:33  And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Judaeans putting him forward. And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made his defence unto the people.

19:34  But when they knew that he was a Judaean, all with one voice about the space of two hours cried out, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.

They loved their goddess of Easter. So does America.

19:35  And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?

19:36  Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.

Article by David J. Meyer

Easter is a day that is honored by nearly all of contemporary Christianity and is used to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The holiday often involves a church service at sunrise, a feast which includes an "Easter Ham", decorated eggs and stories about rabbits.

Those who love truth learn to ask questions, and many questions must be asked regarding the holiday of Easter.

Is it truly the day when Jesus arose from the dead? Where did all of the strange customs come from, which have nothing to do with the resurrection of our Saviour?

The purpose of this tract is to help answer those questions, and to help those who seek truth to draw their own conclusions.

The first thing we must understand is that professing Christians were not the only ones who celebrated a festival called "Easter."

"Ishtar", which is pronounced "Easter" was a day that commemorated the resurrection of one of their gods that they called "Tammuz", who was believed to be the only begotten son of the moon-goddess and the sun-god.

In those ancient times, there was a man named Nimrod, who was the grandson of one of Noah's son named Ham.

Ham had a son named Cush who married a woman named Semiramis.Cush and Semiramis then had a son named him "Nimrod."

After the death of his father, Nimrod married his own mother and became a powerful King.

The Bible tells of of this man, Nimrod, in Genesis 10:8-10 as follows: "And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the Lord: wherefore it is said, even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar."

Nimrod became a god-man to the people and Semiramis, his wife and mother, became the powerful Queen of ancient Babylon.

Nimrod was eventually killed by an enemy, and his body was cut in pieces and sent to various parts of his kingdom.

Semiramis had all of the parts gathered, except for one part that could not be found.

That missing part was his reproductive organ. Semiramis claimed that Nimrod could not come back to life without it and told the people of Babylon that Nimrod had ascended to the sun and was now to be called "Baal", the sun god.

Queen Semiramis also proclaimed that Baal would be present on earth in the form of a flame, whether candle or lamp, when used in worship.

Semiramis was creating a mystery religion, and with the help of Satan, she set herself up as a goddess.

Semiramis claimed that she was immaculately conceived.

She taught that the moon was a goddess that went through a 28 day cycle and ovulated when full.

She further claimed that she came down from the moon in a giant moon egg that fell into the Euphrates River.

This was to have happened at the time of the first full moon after the spring equinox.

Semiramis became known as "Ishtar" which is pronounced "Easter", and her moon egg became known as "Ishtar's" egg."

Ishtar soon became pregnant and claimed that it was the rays of the sun-god Baal that caused her to conceive.

The son that she brought forth was named Tammuz.

Tammuz was noted to be especially fond of rabbits, and they became sacred in the ancient religion, because Tammuz was believed to be the son of the sun-god, Baal. Tammuz, like his supposed father, became a hunter.

The day came when Tammuz was killed by a wild pig.

Queen Ishtar told the people that Tammuz was now ascended to his father, Baal, and that the two of them would be with the worshippers in the sacred candle or lamp flame as Father, Son and Spirit.

Ishtar, who was now worshipped as the "Mother of God and Queen of Heaven", continued to build her mystery religion.

The queen told the worshippers that when Tammuz was killed by the wild pig, some of his blood fell on the stump of an evergreen tree, and the stump grew into a full new tree overnight. This made the evergreen tree sacred by the blood of Tammuz.

She also proclaimed a forty day period of time of sorrow each year prior to the anniversary of the death of Tammuz.

During this time, no meat was to be eaten.

Worshippers were to meditate upon the sacred mysteries of Baal and Tammuz, and to make the sign of the "T" in front of their hearts as they worshipped.

They also ate sacred cakes with the marking of a "T" or cross on the top.

Every year, on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox, a celebration was made.

It was Ishtar's Sunday and was celebrated with rabbits and eggs.

Ishtar also proclaimed that because Tammuz was killed by a pig, that a pig must be eaten on that Sunday.

By now, the readers of this tract should have made the connection that paganism has infiltrated the contemporary "Christian" churches, and further study indicates that this paganism came in by way of the Roman Catholic System.

The truth is that Easter has nothing whatsoever to do with the resurrection of our Prince Jesus Christ.

We also know that Easter can be as much as three weeks away from the Passover, because the pagan holiday is always set as the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox.

Some have wondered why the word "Easter" is in the the King James Bible.

It is because Acts, chapter 12, tells us that it was the evil King Herod, who was planning to celebrate Easter, and not the Christians.

The true Passover and pagan Easter sometimes coincide, but in some years, they are a great distance apart.

So much more could be said, and we have much more information for you, if you are a seeker of the truth.

We know that the Bible tells us in John 4:24, "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

The truth is that the forty days of Lent, eggs, rabbits, hot cross buns and the Easter ham have everything to do with the ancient pagan religion of Mystery Babylon. These are all antichrist activities!

Satan is a master deceiver, and has filled the lives of well-meaning, professing Christians with idolatry.

These things bring the wrath of God upon children of disobedience, who try to make pagan customs of Baal worship Christian.

You must answer for your activities and for what you teach your children.

These customs of Easter honor Baal, who is also Satan, and is still worshiped as the "Rising Sun" and his house is the "House of the Rising Sun."

How many churches have "sunrise services" on Ishtar's day and face the rising sun in the East?

How many will use colored eggs and rabbit stories, as they did in ancient Babylon.

These things are no joke, any more than Judgment day is a joke.

I pray to God that this tract will cause you to search for more truth.

These are the last days, and it is time to repent, come out and be separate. -end-

Another aspect of the Easter season is the so-called "Good Friday." This is believed by Christians to be the day that Christ died on the cross and was buried. Theologians do a lot of interpretive gymnastics to arrive at a Friday death of Messiah, followed by a Sunday morning resurrection. This flatly contradicts what the Messiah himself said about the length of time he would be in the grave. He specifically and repeatedly instructed his disciples that he would be in the tomb for three days and three nights.

So Friday was not, in fact, the day Messiah died. (If it were, He would have risen Monday) But it fits in really nicely with the activities which were traditionally practiced by the pagans on Friday. Thus, it's convenient for Christians to force fit the death of Messiah into a "Friday" frame, because Friday and Sunday were significant days when the pagans practiced the worship of their god-idols.

Friday was the pagan day honoring the fish god Dagon. Scripture speaks of Dagon, the fish god:

1Samuel 5:1  And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Ebenezer unto Ashdod.

5:2  When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon.

Dagon was the Philistine fish god. They set the ark next to the statue of Dagon.

Judges 16:23  Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.

5:3  And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of Yahweh. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.

5:4  And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of Yahweh; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.

5:5  Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon's house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day.

5:6  But the hand of Yahweh was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and He destroyed them, and smote them with emerods (hemorrhoids), even Ashdod and the coasts thereof.

5:7  And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.

1Chronicles 10:10  And they put his (Saul's) armour in the house of their gods, and fastened his head in the temple of Dagon.

In later years “Good Friday”, the day that the Philistines sacrificed to Dagon, the Philistine fish god, also became an integral part of the Easter pageantry (if you are over 40 years of age, you will recall eating fish on Friday in the public school system in America). This entire menagerie of satanic festivities is the pinnacle of the abominations that God had pronounced to the Children of Israel before they entered the Promised Land. (John Michael Rood, The Mystery of Iniquity, Chapter 8)

During the time of the Messiah and afterward, Friday was well known in pagan circles to be a celebration of Dagon. And so, as the Scriptural practices of appointed times were being abandoned and the pagan sun-god and other deity worship began to get melded into the worship practices of followers of the Messiah, too, the blending of Dagon\fish-god worship into worship of the Messiah proceeded.

The Christian Church had adopted the pagan symbol of the fish. We all know how the third century "believers" took the symbol of the fish and used it as a representation of faith in Messiah (whom they called "Christ"). The justification goes something like this: The Greek word for fish represents Christ because the letters which spell it also are the beginning letters of these words: the iota begins the Greek name of the Christ, Iaysous; the chi is the first letter in the Greek Christos (Xristos or "Christ"); the theta begins the word "theos" or "God"; the upsilon begins the word hwee-os ("son"); and the sigma represents "sotayr" or Savior. Thus, the reasoning goes, ichthus ("fish") represents "Iaysous Xristos theos huee-os sotayr" - or "Jesus Christ God('s) son, (and) Savior."

Of course, this is pure pig slop at its finest. The fish symbol really has nothing to do with the Messiah of Scripture. But in order to make palatable the fish god Dagon in "Christian" circles, the word "fish" had to be given a Christian meaning! And thus was born the adoption of the very pagan fish symbol and fish god into the worship practices of those who follow the Savior of the world.

Deuteronomy 12:1  These are the statutes and judgments, which you shall observe to do in the land, which Yahweh God of your fathers giveth you to possess it, all the days that you live upon the earth.

12:2  Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which you shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:

The places are places of pagan worship.

12:3  And you shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves (H842- asherah poles) with fire; and you shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.

12:30  Take heed to yourself that you be not snared by following (imitating) them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that you enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.

12:31  You shalt not do so unto Yahweh your God: for every abomination to Yahweh, which He hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.

Leviticus 18:3,30

3  After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.

30  Therefore shall ye keep Mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am Yahweh your God.

12:32  What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: you shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Second and third and fourth witness of addition or subtraction of His word.

Deuteronomy 4:2  Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you.

Joshua 1:7  Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses My servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

Revelation 22:18-19

18  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Yahweh will NOT have His children observing pagan practices!

The word for groves in Hebrew is asherah, H842, and is used 40 times.

As will be demonstrated, this pagan worship of Asherah had become a major reoccuring problem. Today's celebration of Easter is the result of clinging to these pagan practices over the millennia. Yahweh God HATES Easter!

Exodus 34:12  Take heed to yourself, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither you goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of you:

We are to remain holy (separate). We are not to make covenants with the other races.

34:13  But you shall destroy their altars, break their images (pillars), and cut down their groves:

Groves here should be “images of Asherah”, wooden statues of Ashteroth (Ishtar), were we get Ishtar (Easter Sunday), which is a pagan holiday that worships the goddess of fertility and consort of Baal. So all Christians that celebrate Easter are really participating in pagan worship. Same with Christmas.

34:14  For you shalt worship no other god: for Yahweh, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

How could God be jealous if He is God of Everybody? Scripture clearly repeats that He is the God of Israel. The Jews are NOT Israel.

 34:15  Lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call you, and you eat of his sacrifice;

34:16  And you take of their daughters unto your sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make your sons go a whoring after their gods.   (Deut 7:3  1Ki 11:2  Ezra 9:2)

Deuteronomy 7:5  But thus shall you deal with them; you shall destroy their altars, and break down their images (pillars), and cut down their groves (sacred poles or carvings set up near an altar), and burn their graven images with fire.   (Ex 23:24, 34:13)

What is on top of your Judeo-Christian “church”? A sun pillar, for sun worship on Sunday. Very pagan.

7:6  For you are an holy people unto Yahweh your God: Yahweh your God hath chosen you to be a special people unto Himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

Deuteronomy 12:2  Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which you shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:

The places are places of pagan worship.

12:3  And you shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and you shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.

Asherah is translated in the KJV as their groves. These are groves or carved statues of the goddess Ashteroth (Astarte), where we get the pagan holiday Easter.

Deuteronomy 16:21  You shalt not plant you a grove (asherah) of any trees near unto the altar of Yahweh your God, which you shalt make you.

Grove is H6842, asherah. The goddess of fertility, Astarte, where we get the pagan holiday Easter.

Trees is H6086, poles carved to asherah.

16:22  Neither shalt you set you up any image; which Yahweh your God hateth.

The Hebrew has any image (H4676), Egyptian style pillars, as to the “gods” of Egypt.

The steeple of a “church” is the same thing, so is the Washington Monument. Sun pillars for the Sun god on Sunday. The cross is also a symbol of the Sun god. Our people are practicing paganism and they don't even know it.

Chapter 16 is a reminder to keep the feasts, administer justice, and keep all pagan symbols away from the then future Holy Temple in Jerusalem.

Judges 3:7  And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of Yahweh, and forgat Yahweh their God, and served Baalim and the groves.

The groves is H842 asherah, a reference to the goddess asherah (or Astarte). This is where we get the pagan holiday of Easter. Sex orgies and such.

Judges 6:25  And it came to pass the same night, that Yahweh said unto him, Take your father's young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that your father hath, and cut down the grove (asherah pole) that is by it:

6:26  And build an altar unto Yahweh your God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which you shalt cut down.

6:27  Then Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as Yahweh had said unto him: and so it was, because he feared his father's household, and the men of the city, that he could not do it by day, that he did it by night.

6:28  And when the men of the city arose early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal was cast down, and the grove (asherah pole) was cut down that was by it, and the second bullock was offered upon the altar that was built.

6:29  And they said one to another, Who hath done this thing? And when they enquired and asked, they said, Gideon the son of Joash hath done this thing.

6:30  Then the men of the city said unto Joash, Bring out your son, that he may die: because he hath cast down the altar of Baal, and because he hath cut down the grove (asherah pole) that was by it.

6:31  And Joash said unto all that stood against him, Will ye plead for Baal? will ye save him? he that will plead for him, let him be put to death whilst it is yet morning: if he be a god, let him plead for himself, because one hath cast down his altar.

6:32  Therefore on that day he called him Jerubbaal, saying, Let Baal plead against him, because he hath thrown down his altar.

1Kings 14:15  For Yahweh shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and He shall root up Israel out of this good land, which He gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves (Asherah poles), provoking Yahweh to anger.

Groves is H842, asherah. Carved poles set up near an altar to the goddess Astarte. Where we get Easter from, which has nothing to do with Christ.

Prophecy of the scattering of the tribes. The divorce of Israel.

2Kings 17:6  In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.

This started happening in 745 BC. The 7x punishment was (2520 years).

The regathering of the tribes of Israel was fulfilled with the birth of America in 1776, 2520 years later.

14:16  And He shall give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who did sin, and who made Israel to sin.

14:21  And Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which Yahweh did choose out of all the tribes of Israel, to put His name there. And his mother's name was Naamah an Ammonitess.

14:22  And Judah did evil in the sight of Yahweh, and they provoked Him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done.

14:23  For they also built them high places, and images (pillars), and groves (Asherah poles), on every high hill, and under every green tree.

14:24  And there were also sodomites in the land (male cult prostitutes): and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which Yahweh cast out before the children of Israel.

Deuteronomy 23:17  There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

A homosexual is never accepted by Yahweh. But the “churches” accept them.

1Kings 15:11  And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, as did David his father.

15:12  And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his (grand) fathers had made.

15:13  And also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an idol (abominable thing) in a grove (for Asherah); and Asa destroyed her idol (abominable thing), and burnt it by the brook Kidron.  (same account in 2Chr 14:3, 15:16)

1Kings 16:30  And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of Yahweh above all that were before him.

16:31  And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.

The Zidonians were Canaanites. Jewish descendants of Cain.

Deuteronomy 7:3  Neither shalt you make marriages with them; your daughter you shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt you take unto your son.

16:32  And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.

16:33  And Ahab made a grove (Asherah pole); and Ahab did more to provoke Yahweh God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

1Kings 18:17  And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art you he that troubleth Israel?

18:18  And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but you, and your father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of Yahweh, and you hast followed Baalim.

18:19  Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves (Asherah poles) four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table.

2Kings 13:4  And Jehoahaz besought Yahweh, and Yahweh hearkened unto him: for He saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them.

Psalm 78:34  When He slew them, then they sought Him: and they returned and enquired early after God.

13:5  (And Yahweh gave Israel a saviour, so that they went out from under the hand of the Syrians: and the children of Israel dwelt in their tents, as beforetime.

13:6  Nevertheless they departed not from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, who made Israel sin, but walked therein: and there remained the grove (pole of Asherah) also in Samaria.)

Grove is asherah. Sacred poles set up near an altar to the goddess Asherah (Astarte). This is where Easter comes from, which is NOT a Christian holiday.

2Kings 17:9  And the children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right against Yahweh their God, and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.

17:10  And they set them up images (sacred pillars) and groves (Asherah poles) in every high hill, and under every green tree:

Isaiah 57:5  Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks (passing them through the fire)?

17:11  And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen (nations) whom Yahweh carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke Yahweh to anger:

17:12  For they served idols, whereof Yahweh had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing.

17:16  And they left all the commandments of Yahweh their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove (Asherah pole), and worshipped all the host of heaven (the sky), and served Baal.

2Kings 18:3  And he (Hezekiah) did that which was right in the sight of Yahweh, according to all that David his father did.

18:4  He removed the high places, and brake the images (sacred pillars), and cut down the groves (Asherah poles), and brake in pieces the brasen (bronze) serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.

Numbers 21:9  And Moses made a serpent of bronze, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of bronze, he lived.

2Kings 21:1  Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzibah.

21:2  And he did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, after the abominations of the heathen (nations), whom Yahweh cast out before the children of Israel.

21:3  For he built up again the high places (of pagan worship) which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove (Asherah pole), as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven (the sky), and served them.  (2Chr 33:3)

21:4  And he built altars in the house of Yahweh, of which Yahweh said, In Jerusalem will I put My name.

Jeremiah 32:34  But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by My name, to defile it.

21:5  And he built altars for all the host of heaven (the sky) in the two courts of the house of Yahweh.

21:6  And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of Yahweh, to provoke Him to anger.

Leviticus 18:21  And you shalt not let any of your seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt you profane the name of your God: I am Yahweh.

Child sacrifice. This still goes on today in Jewish secret societies and openly (abortion).

21:7  And he set a graven image (carved pole) of the grove (Asherah) that he had made in the house, of which Yahweh said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put My name for ever:

21:8  Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that My servant Moses commanded them.

2Kings 23:4  And the king (Josiah) commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of Yahweh all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove (Asherah pole), and for all the host of heaven (the sky): and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.

23:5  And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven (the sky).

Septuagint: 5  And he burned the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had appointed, (and they burned incense in the high places and in the cities of Judah, and the places around about Jerusalem); and (burned) them that burned incense to Baal, and to the sun, and to the moon, and to Mazuroth, and to all the host of the sky.

23:6  And he brought out the grove (pole of Asherah) from the house of Yahweh, without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and stamped it small to powder, and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the people.

23:7  And he brake down the houses of the sodomites (male temple prostitutes), that were by the house of Yahweh, where the women wove hangings for the grove (Asherah pole).

1Kings 14:24  And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which Yahweh cast out before the children of Israel.

Today these sodomites are those homosexuals, transgenders, and such that the “churches” accept into their congregations and tolerate in society.

23:14  And he brake in pieces the images (sacred pillars), and cut down the groves (poles of Asherah), and filled their places with the bones of men.

23:15  Moreover the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both that altar and the high place he brake down, and burned the high place, and stamped it small to powder, and burned the grove (Asherah pole).   (1 Ki 12:28,33)

2Chronicles 17:3  And Yahweh was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim;

17:4  But sought to Yahweh God of his father, and walked in His commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.

17:5  Therefore Yahweh stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honour in abundance.

17:6  And his heart was lifted up in the ways of Yahweh: moreover he took away the high places and groves (poles of Asherah) out of Judah.
